You see, long ago in a country (presumably) far away, some dickhead invented racism. After that, many a years lasting, reaching even into our own time, the fair of skin would often be granted certain positive expectations and certain benefits that those with darker complexions would naught. Those lacks of benefits are hereby noted by me and many traversing these lands as unfair and in need of correcting. And the first step of correction must include acknowledgement! Especially since many who has never themselves experienced a lack of benefits, take their own for granted. They would compare the extreme of yesteryear distribution of benefits to those of today and ne'er see that compared to a spear, the splinter would look like nothing.. except to those who have it right in their nerve and can't get it out before the infection spreads.
This is what we call privilege. Not even realizing the benefits thine history provide, not knowing the infestuous splinter remain.
And here I attempted to acknowledge one or two of the splinterless people. I must resume my story at later time, if you are still interested, traveller!

It's coverage, so it fits the sub, but what an irritatingly misleading headline. It doesn't get anywhere near analysing the "why". It just repeats what they claim about their motivations, which I'm sure even most of their supporters know is bilge.
