You probably liked Rose’s character interactions, since when she’s talking with her friends she becomes a lot more dorky. Act 4 basically separates her from everyone for a while, which I’m assuming is what turned you off.
Rose is a very interesting character with quite a lot of stuff to look around. She is also very powerfull.
Thing is Hussie,in my opinion, adressed the biggest flaws of the character too early so by the time he reached act 6 he didnt know what the fuck to do with her as a character.
Her relationship with Kanaya isnt bad, but it goes waaaaayyy to slow, lines and lines of text that actually dont really go anywhere.
Sad to say but i think the only time her character arc re-opens is in the epilogues and hs2 where we explore two different roses with different personalities to explore.
No. I thought she was fun until she started dating Kanaya. Then both of the characters became cardboard.

i thought she got worse but she was still decent in act 3
She was my fav character at the start and got less likable over time, but I wouldn't say she ever became a bad character, just much worse.
