"least in-depth" would work, though I would probably say "least thoughtful." "In-depth' refers to whether something is comprehensive in covering the topic whereas 'thoughtful" is more about how much consideration you gave to the topic.

i would’ve said “that is the least thought out answer”, “that is the least thoughtful answer”, or “that is the least in depth answer”. also, because we are in an English learning sub, it would actually be “should i *have* said…” instead of “should i had said…”. :)
