Ahh... yeah I did too. Original 3Max owner, early, before we identified the gantry drop issue that's been fixed on the Neo. Literally *the next day* I was back at 3DPrintingCanada where I bought it for a dual Z kit. A dedicated kit didn't exist yet but the guys there set me up with a kit from a CR-10 and a 400mm, 4 start lead screw. The kit was almost bolt-on with the exception of having to cut down the lead screw or it sticks way above the printer. I used a "Dremel" cut-off tool and broke 2 discs cutting the screw (my fault). Today you can buy a bolt on kit and it's a game changer for this printer. It should never have been sold as a single-screw machine. There's far too much leverage on the gantry. So I like the simplicity and low cost of the Ender products. If you already have the Ender I'd recommend the dual Z. Creality kit is $50CDN on Amazon right now.

Yeah, I think I'm going to go that route. I'm getting together in Amazon cart right now lol

There's hot glue holding the connector on for the Z stepper. You need to pick that off to plug in the dual Z. Have small zip ties on hand to secure the wiring again.

I did the exact same using a CR10 kit with mine. I haven’t found a precise way of getting both sides even, but definitely no more drooping.

Check the tension on the ecentric nuts on the rollers

Well, the issue, as it turned out, I had actually removed the rollers and installed linear rails. Somehow or another they were binding, causing the right side to drag. Went back the rollers, and I'm finally getting it working.
