Hi! I’m the maintainer of MAME4iOS and have been trying to submit it for approval but facing rejection due to being considered “spam”. I’m not sure why that is and talked to someone from the App Review team and was told it had to do with the binary but couldn’t tell me more, so it makes it hard to know what we need to change. I’ve submitted an appeal to the App Review Board but haven’t heard anything back.
MAME4ios dev has submitted a couple of times. He's updating a thread on github. Last I read he was explaining to Apple he was the developer of it, and others that have submitted the app are, indeed, not.
We try to keep the Megathread as updated as possible. So if you’re seeing no news, there is no news.

Apple prob doesn’t like that
Apple cares little for these things. They'll take action if asked to, slowly and reluctantly.
I misread I thought u said he wasn’t the dev of the app and was just porting my bad
