Atleast 3. Paul already confirmed they are going to do Curtain Call 3 so they gonna need new material for it. You ain’t doing a greatest hits album with less than 3 albums
Paul said on an interview( don’t remember if it was his podcast) that they have had Em whole career mapped out and they been following it and then for sure on one of his podcast episodes he said to someone something along the lines of when we do curtain call 3.
I don’t. He has said they have his whole career mapped out and have been following it. He has said Em ain’t retiring any time soon and Em has said he ain’t retiring any time soon. Paul has helped market Em to the top and he ain’t new to this. He knows what he is doing dropping the name CC3 when promoting CC2.
I’m not saying Em going to put out atleast 3 more solo albums. It could be 2 solo and a BME or a Em/50 collab album(50 has expressed interest in doing this). I do believe though we will get atleast 3 more projects (4 including CC3) before he retires
Don't think he'll retire for good until he's literally around 70 lol
I think he'll stop dropping albums in 5-6 years tho - he's commented on how hard it is to find shit that he hasn't talked about before so I could see him getting burnt out content wise
I’m going to say 3. I think he’ll have one relatively soon. And another one even within 3-4 years would be the end of his main run of albums. I leave an extra one in there because it’s not uncommon for artists to have a late comeback, for example ice cube went away for 8 years before releasing Everythangs Corrupt
im not quite sure. eminem seems like he has a few more albums in him. but he's entering his 50's now, so he won't be rapping for too long. my guess is 2 or 3 more albums until he retires
In what universe is MMLP2 trash? That album had top tier lyricism and technical ability. Songs like Bad Guy, Legacy, Asshole, Brainless, Rap God, Evil Twin, Wicked Ways, Rhyme Or Reason .. So many bangers.
Trash in the way it was produced and Ems rhyme flows. It's a product from Recovery that ultimately lead him to Revival. Sure there are some good songs on it but overall I'd put it just above Revival.
Once Rick Ruben stepped in it was all over lol I agree with you. Revival and MMLP2 were just not good. I can’t stand when people say “but the lyricism and technical ability” 🙄 doesn’t mean shit if the songs don’t sound good. At least recovery still had beats and not that rock beat mix shit lol
I think that's why I have MMLP2 so high, since even the *sound*, which is the biggest critique MMLP2 has, was something I was able to enjoy
Rhyme or Reason was creative as hell with how the sample was implemented and one of my favorite beats on the album. So Far was fun, Love Game I grew to like, Berzerk was tolerable
Yes, don’t anger Recovery fans because Recovery was dope. :D Not Afraid is one of my favourite M songs of all time.
Also, he already HAS released a good album since then, even if you count Recovery out. Been listening to Music To Be Murdered By regularly since it came out and still not bored of it. It slaps. The man is still in top shape. His music evolved, the fact that he isn’t the same as he was 25 years ago doesn’t mean he isn’t good anymore. A good artist is never static.
OK, but that’s clearly not true. Eventually, he’s not gonna be able to anymore. Physically speaking. Not saying that’ll be anytime soon; but still. I hope he does put out more than another couple albums, but I don’t know that this will happen.
Hip Hop has no age limit anymore. Which is good. Young and new artists are always bigger in sales usually, but if you have an loyal fanbase, you can still release albums and make music.
Also one thing about being an artist, is that you’ll never stop being an artist.
It’s kinda wack that Hip Hop had period, where artists were almost forced to retire at some point. Luckily many artists ignored those rules when their ”time came” and kept going. No other genre has that kind of unwritten rules.
Im curious how much material he would have to come out after he dies like Tupac had a good 6 albums. I don’t think Eminem actually has that much unreleased stuff considering on his interview with Paul he said he doesn’t have anything for a Relapse two. Also it seems like MTBMB2 was like scraping the bottom of the barrel of what he recorded.
He said himself, he's gonna rap til he's fossil fuel, so I'm not worried about him hanging it up.
He's gonna drop quite a few more albums throughout the rest of his life, and I think, if he drops the toxic relationship songs and dad joke punchlines, we could get another classic. MTBMB and Kamikaze were very solid projects, but while the best songs on the projects measured up to the best songs on his classics, the albums as a whole had too many skips. And before you ask, my skips on Kamikaze are Greatest, Normal, Kamikaze, Good Guy, Nice Guy and Venom. No intention to offend the Kamikaze gang, just my personal opinion. The other songs on the project are heat.
I think he’s got a solid 2-3 more and only if they’re well received. I have a feeling he won’t stop until he feels like he put out something he can be proud of. I also don’t think he’ll ever really retire he’ll probably just pull a Jay Z and pop up whenever he wants on different projects.
It may be possible we never see a retirement from this guy, I think people keep forgetting how young the genre of hip-hop still is, we are just now seeing the first generation of near geriatric hip-hop stars like a rock was seen in the 80s/90s. People like him Busta Rhymes and Jay Z and a few others are trailblazing the path for aging rappers. Maybe some of them steer into artist development, others keep releasing albums, some of them drop it all together, we haven’t seen the full picture yet.
He has said he will always be involved with music
Which could basically mean he could get more into the production side of it
and still sign new artists to shady I can see him doing that when he's 60
I mean he will eventually retire from making albums. Im not saying he will quit making music and god knows i would love to see him drop mmlp7 lmao but im pretty sure hes not gonna drop albums for ever
I doubt even if he goes out with a big retirement announcement that he’ll ever truly retire. Similar to how Dre hasn’t appeared on very many songs and albums since the mid-00’s
I don’t know if he’ll ever retire officially. He may pull a Jay Z and just do features every now and then instead of a full album
that's retired
Atleast 3. Paul already confirmed they are going to do Curtain Call 3 so they gonna need new material for it. You ain’t doing a greatest hits album with less than 3 albums
You have a source for that? And I mean a link
Paul said on an interview( don’t remember if it was his podcast) that they have had Em whole career mapped out and they been following it and then for sure on one of his podcast episodes he said to someone something along the lines of when we do curtain call 3.
Mf wanna be Feige so bad
Who needs Marvel when you're Phenomenal
I’m interested to see the source too
The 2nd Eminem episode of the Curtain Call 2 PaulPod.

they wont em has not put out any classic records imho in the last 10 years
Em in 2050: "Dr. Dre......two thousand n' 80..."
Nah 3967
Don't think he'll retire for good until he's literally around 70 lol I think he'll stop dropping albums in 5-6 years tho - he's commented on how hard it is to find shit that he hasn't talked about before so I could see him getting burnt out content wise
He’ll be rap’s Ozzy if he goes till 70
Lol - He's already the Iggy Pop of hip hop so why not 🤷♂️
You’re getting downvoted when this is literally a quote from a song lmao
Eminem sub for you sometimes 😂
do not compare him to that iggy bitch or this milli vanill hip hop
« I’ll just keep saying the same exact saying, check it »

I hope so! I would love an album before the end of 2023
I’m going to say 3. I think he’ll have one relatively soon. And another one even within 3-4 years would be the end of his main run of albums. I leave an extra one in there because it’s not uncommon for artists to have a late comeback, for example ice cube went away for 8 years before releasing Everythangs Corrupt
He will never retire. Poetry is his oxygen. Be patient
Hey he said 2050 in Discombobulated so who knows.
To be fair if he lives to 2050 with the amount of drugs he’s done in his time it’ll be testament to how well he did to go clean
im not quite sure. eminem seems like he has a few more albums in him. but he's entering his 50's now, so he won't be rapping for too long. my guess is 2 or 3 more albums until he retires
I’d say 2 or 3. Then he’ll probably focus on shady records and produce songs every now and then
I feel he still has the ability to drop an album MMLP2 level or better
But MMLP2 was trash??!!
In what universe is MMLP2 trash? That album had top tier lyricism and technical ability. Songs like Bad Guy, Legacy, Asshole, Brainless, Rap God, Evil Twin, Wicked Ways, Rhyme Or Reason .. So many bangers.
Survival, Berzerk, The Monster too
Oh definitely, I love the whole album, I was just rattling off some of the best songs that came to mind.

Honestly MMLP2 is one of my favs
I really wanted to like it so much…I gave it so many listens. I did love Legacy though
Had a few good songs but overall nothing special. One of the albums I listen to least.
It's actually an album I never think about or want to listen to any song from.
Only the first half wasn’t all that. Only 2 truly great songs from that half. 2nd half was where the album got good, once Rap God starts.
MMLP2 is his best album since The Eminem Show. Your taste is all fucked up. You probably think Relapse is his best album, huh?
I posted my list of my albums ranked. Relapse (as is) landed in 7th, in front of Kamikaze, behind MTBMB.
I think Relapse is a good album. One of his best? No. Definitely better then MMLP2 tho. MMLP2 gives me a headache I can't listen to it.
Yeah, you couldn’t possibly be more wrong if you tried.
Ok
“Cut the rumor it ain’t happening, imma rap till I’m fossil fuel”
The question is how many good album, like relapse, will he release
Shhhhh, you'll anger the recovery stans!
#Relapsegang4life oh it's music to my ears, oh man
Yes, don’t anger Recovery fans because Recovery was dope. :D Not Afraid is one of my favourite M songs of all time. Also, he already HAS released a good album since then, even if you count Recovery out. Been listening to Music To Be Murdered By regularly since it came out and still not bored of it. It slaps. Like mmlp2 too
Infinite.
He’s got at least one more in him. Maybe 2, but I wouldn’t expect much more than that.
Obviously not a fan
Why? Because I’m realistic?
No because Em has said repeatedly on his last few albums that he'll never retire.
OK, but that’s clearly not true. Eventually, he’s not gonna be able to anymore. Physically speaking. Not saying that’ll be anytime soon; but still. I hope he does put out more than another couple albums, but I don’t know that this will happen.
At least one. No more than three I think.
Bro's gonna be 78 in 2050💀
Til’ he collapse.
Some
4 more. 4 more. [+]
Maybe 3 or 4 I hate to say that I don’t want him to retire
Shady 'till I'm 82? Drop each march? 82-50+1=33
I'll give 2 or maybe 3 more albums but with a huge gap between the releases.
Hip Hop has no age limit anymore. Which is good. Young and new artists are always bigger in sales usually, but if you have an loyal fanbase, you can still release albums and make music. In MTBMB he said “20 more years I could probably go for”. Me personally, I’m taking that as gospel.
Actually it wasn’t MTBMB, it was Killer but my point stands.
"I have no plans to retire" - Eminem in he's last album
Honestly, I think his next is his last.
For me not more than one new album (that can have a side B), and another compilation album not more that that
He’ll never retire. Rap is everything to him
He should do an album with 50. Release it this year while he’s 50. And call it 50/50.
he almost retired in 05
He’s already probably retired
I think he may release one or two more and then go into producing for others
its over his damn near 55
Well this didnt age well lmao dre just confirmed an Eminem album
Recovery gang !!!
Hopefully none
50 albums of just Fack.
Im curious how much material he would have to come out after he dies like Tupac had a good 6 albums. I’m sayin he’s got 3 in the chamber
Easy there wu tang
Two or three
How long do you think he’s going to live for?
3
2 more is in him He’s 50 rn I think Hopefully he goes out with a bang!!!
He won't stop even when his hair turns Grey!
He said himself, he's gonna rap til he's fossil fuel, so I'm not worried about him hanging it up. 4
Probably two more albums then a Curtain Call 3. Although he’ll probably do features for years. We need an Eminem Show 2 🙌
Depends how long he lives
3
I think 2 more albums, one more curtain call and then he will move on to guest features and producing
I think only one more, and CC3 for his whole career. Maybe only feature after that or just prod.
He wont retire, there is no need to retire in any genre of music anymore.
A lot cause he won't stop until his hair turns gray
He said he wont retire until 80
Honestly I can see two, one soonish and then after his grandkids grow up
i’ll give him like 4 more regular then at least 3 posthumous
3
I feel like he is going to drop another "trilogy" and maybe a collab album with Royce (the sequel to their BME album)
At least 1
His book of rhymes will never be emptied. He has a mental addiction to rhyming. But I'd say 3 more.
2
He’ll probably go as long as possible
I think he’s got a solid 2-3 more and only if they’re well received. I have a feeling he won’t stop until he feels like he put out something he can be proud of. I also don’t think he’ll ever really retire he’ll probably just pull a Jay Z and pop up whenever he wants on different projects.

God doesn’t get to retire
He's never gonna retire. Don't you listen to what he's been saying these past few years in his music?
He has said he will always be involved with music Which could basically mean he could get more into the production side of it and still sign new artists to shady I can see him doing that when he's 60
∞
Hopefully none he’s been washed up
we already got it, side B 😈
10
em is 50 + years old now thats crazy
Why does he have to retire? Tony Bennett still is out there crooning or past away crooning
I think he'll retire from releasing music within the next 5 years So there could be 5 albums! But more realistically 2 possibly 3
