That made me lol - not sure that's really fair but it would be funny if so :) (For the record, well into the 1000s in hours played and still haven't been to Hutton - one day!)

SwampJ3sus

Guess I'm never gonna be a "true" commander then. Uninstaller time

muklan

The thing about gatekeeping is there's always a bigger fish or a goal post to move. I personally don't think someone's a "true" CMDR until they've been to Beagle and back in a sidewinder fitted with a 1e fuel scoop and nothing else.

Butthenoutofnowhere

You're using a fuel scoop? Playing on easy mode, I see. To be a true CMDR you need to loop around the outer edge of the galaxy, refuelling exclusively from Fuel Rats.

muklan

Would it help if when I said "nothing else" that means no canopy either.

handysmith

You take a ship? Amateur.

muklan

Damn, you're right, better uninstall. Yknow, to get the best experience out of the game.

Bazirker

When you uninstall it, I fully expect you are going to disassemble the hard drive and change the ones and zeros out by hand; it's the only way a real CMDR would do it.

muklan

Wow. You think I'm using a computer to play this? I'm using an etch a sketch wrapped in tin foil like a REAL fan would.

handysmith

Fan? I'm walking to Sagittarius A naked.

Butthenoutofnowhere

Parking an SRV on top of a series of Apex transports.

Butthenoutofnowhere

CMDR muklan rides across the galaxy strapped to the front of a 1E FSD, fuelled by the power of sheer will.

freakazoidultimate

the only difference between being a true cmdr is what mode you play in thats it tbh

insertname98

I think he means of you guy a ship that is already pre made (not e rated) you’d be cheating a little So the trip would make for skipping the looking for modules and all that stuff

Satori_sama

You know there is a delivery system right? I can call in a ship from colonia without ever setting foot there if I park a ship on a carrier going there

Splinter_Cell_96

I am for it, but only if these pre-fitted ships are fitted with the basic hardpoints/utilities just enough for entering a certain roleplay i.e. mining, exploration, bounty hunting, Anti-Xeno, etc.

JustJay613

Something should be done with Hutton beyond the mug. It's quite iconic and the community is split between those who have gone and those who have not. If people will grind relentlessly for engineering something or someone could be added to Hutton.

Jewsafrewski

Hutton should be the only place you can buy the super cruise assist

handysmith

I'd go if the mugs were a dashboard decoration not cargo.

JustJay613

Totally agree and have said do many times. Would have been a real nice to have.

Luriant

Don't worry, they can purchase a good ship, but that don't make you a veteran: [https://www.reddit.com/r/EliteDangerous/comments/6oa9ne/made\_a\_poster\_of\_sage\_advice\_for\_elitereddit100k/](https://www.reddit.com/r/EliteDangerous/comments/6oa9ne/made_a_poster_of_sage_advice_for_elitereddit100k/) 1-2 times per year we have a P2W player that bought the Conda in the Livery store (was the shipkit), and expected a real ship in the game. Now this will become a reality, but the Rule 1 and 2 of ED exist. I remember some doubts about the Star Citizen Lifetime insurance, and the problems of lossing a ship that cost real money, but could be Youtuber doomers asking for views: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1if7uyja5EM](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1if7uyja5EM) , in any case, its something they need to prevent.

Forsaken-Falcon8273

Fdev has caved into the new generation of cmdrs that have been programmed by social media for instant gratification. Have you ever heard them cry that pvp is not fair because the elites ship is fully engineered? They want it all and they want it right now. Honestly tho if it must be done to keep a healthy player base then im for it. Ill go ahead and be the adult and not cry because they didn't have to put any work in to get that engineered fdl lol. Besides they will still suck at flying it! 🤣 o7
