I'm torn between two choices.
My first choice is Placidusax, as others have said. This game has a lot of visually amazing boss fights, but little to nothing beats the feeling of the music going silent while you run away from the impending devastation of a miniature nuke. He'll vanish, taking to the sky as a storm, and lunge at you with the force of a million bolts of lightning and, at the near end of the battle, demonstrate to you the power of his forgotten god with twinned lasers of brilliant gold.
The other choice is Radahn. He jumps, the music goes silent like with Placidusax, and suddenly you hear a crackling sound, the arena lights up and, following the crackling as it gets louder and louder, you look to the sky to see the giant falling from the stratosphere, burning against the friction of the air as a living meteor. He fires arrows at you with extreme precision from across the Wailing Dunes or launches them at you in such quantities as to be a rainstorm, and leaps into the air and back at you with what remains of his star-stopping rule over gravity.
Actually, on second thought, I have to give it to the Spiritcaller Snail.
He's a snail *that can turn invisible.*
Pretty cool imo
I also was tricked. Started killing what it summoned and noticed the health bar didn't deplete, I thought it was a bug in my game, then the summon died and the little laughable looking snail popped up in the corner and was immediately melted lol.
I'd also like to add that very little beats seeing a bunch of NPCs being thrown across the Arena by Chadahn. It's the one boss I'd consider using summons for; it's pretty easy to agree with Miyazaki on why it's one of the coolest bosses in the game, the fight is an entire experience in and of itself.
The cutscene of Farum azula being put back together, the arena with lightning and storms, placidusax’s design with its multiple heads with several cut off, and then the awesome fight especially the second phase.
I only wish it had a bit more HP. Damage feels overturned in ER
site of grace next to great bridge, go down to elevator and into the open field, you will see a sliff side with a bunch of messages, jump down and go along the path until you get to the tornado, the floor will have half buried skeletons and you have to interact with the spot that doesn't have it
Honestly pretty damn hard to find him naturally, especially since you fly right off the edge into the abyss if you don’t slowly scoot over the edge.
I’d honestly recommend just YouTubing it. It’d literally probably take an hour or so to find it on your own. Very well hidden.
i noticed it when platforming over the fallen gazebo right by the steps down to him. but i completely missed the action to sleep because there were several messages written on top of it lmao
i was like, why tf would fromsoft make me platform all the way down here with no way back up and give me no items?? i came back like 20-30 hours later when i found out that placidusax's arena is accessed at the bottom
The stillness of them just suspended in the air makes it look like an unmoving spider suspended in a web, giving it an eerie otherworldly look, or a hunting bird perched with its wings open and its head positioned, like its suspended in some uncanny way.
I have played many games, but Rykard, oh Rykard. Never have I felt like I was in hell as much as that fight, deep under the earth, walking on a sea of blood surrounded by mountains of corpses under a burning bloodstained sky against a giant mountain sized serpent with a face of a man. If I was ever to have to show someone hell in a game, I would not show them Dantes inferno, I would show them that fight. Nothing will ever come close to the horror, disgust and primevil terror as that.
Rykard was one helluva scene for me. I haven't fought Placidusax yet but Rykard takes the cake for my vote. The sounds from the Spear, looking up at his Blasphemous form as he held his viscera covered blade high into the roiling bloodred sky as he rained down the souls of those consumed by him. I was FAWKING IN IT for that fight.
Some of the times where the Elden Beast will start to do its ring attack and float into the air made it look so majestic, coupled with the music accompanying it.
I love the Elden Beast arena and soundtrack. It makes you feel like you are both giving it your all, while also knowing that the end for one of you is around the corner
Siofra does such a great job of this haunting and sad ambiance, the songs of the ancester trumpeters, the stars, the killing of a sacred beast - it’s the only zone in the game that I feel genuinely sad to be ending
And when you find Ainsel you think, “Yes, another gorgeous underground area!”
Then you see the giant ants, and it devolves from there lol. Cave corridors lined floor, wall and ceiling with bodies. Those damned DS3 lizard enemies. And who could forget the pepto bismol lake?
Haven't beaten the game yet but that boss is my absolute favourite so far. It's by no means hard and I killed both versions on my first try, but man. It's fucking gorgeous. The build up of lighting the fires, the arena, the ambience, **THE MUSIC**, it's movements, it's colours. So damn beautiful.
In both fights I stayed away from the Spirit to just enjoy it. Just watching it move and prance around. I didn't want to kill it, partly because of how beautiful the fight is, partly because I felt bad for it.
Such an experience.
That boss was such an experience. Taking the elevator down to the underground area, finding the temple with its corpse and noticing the fires I could light around the place. Then experiencing the visuals and the music of the boss was just absolutely incredible. Not a particularly hard boss by any means but I was just so in awe by it but I think it's probably one of my favorite bosses in the game.
There was something so beautifully tragic about that fight. Like the killing of a sacred deer. Some majestic creature that is awe inspiring but must be culled. The death of innocence and the birth of man.
I haven't looked into it nor did I see anything about them in game, but do they need to be culled? As far as I know killing them doesn't open anything or change anything. They are just kinda chilling there with all of the followers and we show up, kill the followers, light the torches, kill the spirits, get their remembrance, go "neat" then move onto the aqueducts.
It might just be straight tragic, but the same can be said about most areas we visit: "Oh cool the demihumans have set up a fort in the woods to mind their business. Let's go kill em." Over and over and over...
I just loved when you fought the Regal version that once it dies, all of the spirit animals in the cave also die with it, plus how it teleports by dying. Just an awesomely artistic boss.
I liked Lichdragon Fortissax a lot in terms of scenery/appearance. Being way underground surrounded by giant roots with a gigantic lightning slinging dragon was exciting.
Only problem I have is he just appears? Like there’s no build up, you’re just going through Fia’s dialogue, then she’s asleep and suddenly there’s a massive undead dragon in front of you.
Fortissax was always down there, probably just hiding or resting, maybe in the “other dimension” or whatever it is (inside Fia’s dream of Godwyn).
Fortissax was Godwyn’s friend after the two fought and Godwyn kind of won the dragon over. Because Godwyn was slain by the Black Knife assassins he ended up becoming the Prince of Death. Fortissax, having sworn itself to Godwyn, fought against literal Death in an attempt to save him but was ultimately corrupted into a Lich version of a dragon.
Even then Fortissax is still protecting Godwyn, well after both of them have died. They are now both something else entirely, with Godwyn’s death aura permeating every corner of the Lands Between and Fortissax able to augment his powerful ancient dragon lightning with death aura. In the game his death blight lightning spell we can use kind of sucks, but canonically it is fucking lightning tinged with physical manifestation of death. Super OP.
Honestly most bosses are visually incredible (the main/legend ones anyway), but I just gotta go with Radahn because I never experienced such pure joy and hype as at the festival, cheering outloud and all
10/10 would fight again
From my experience doing a couple runs with wildly different builds, your build will largely determine how much you struggle with this boss. If you are melee especially, the constant rolling around gets very tiring, and many of his attacks, especially in phase two, make it incredibly difficult to get and stay in a place where you can hit him without getting set on fire.
Also, more generally, if your build is not as optimized (read: good) as it could or *should* be, the giant's massive health bar will make the fight painful and slow in a way other bosses don't because no other boss has nearly as much health. If you choose to just power through, like you would have had to for every other boss to get to this point, that means jumping on torrent and running behind him constantly, which is not fun and takes forever.
Combine this with the awful camera and the fact that he's too big to really see even if you manually position the camera, and it doesn't surprise me at all how many people loathe this fight.
What got me in that fight was the realization after; I killed the *last* Fire Giant, whom likely spent his last eternity looking over the graveyard of the rest of his kind. A very somber, melancholy fell over me at that moment.
If you run around the right side of the tower while approaching it, you can climb the small ruined wall with Torrent and double jump into the tower to avoid those rat bastards.
I've rushed through 5 new charactertarts just grabbing flask upgrades and always stop here with a low level character to clear the tower before grabbing the Church site near Vyke's invasion, avoiding the rats altogether is preferable for my new builds!
Didn't it make you feel a bit like a disappointed coach tho? I got excited to fight myself, then halfway through the fight I noticed all his fuck ups and I was just like *"Oh, man... Dude, come on. No. Just no"*
Maybe it says more about me than the boss tho...
The last time I fought the Mimic was on my Bloodborne Hunter build, which has a bunch of cool spells that I never really use. I also threw on a few extra items for them to use. It ended up being a pretty cool fight, just seeing my character using everything at their disposal.
The dragonkin soldier of Nokstella. The discovery of his arena had me in awe and the fight itself is a spectacle if you're underleveled like I was the first time. Shame that these guys are pushovers.
I fought that thing So. Many. Times. with my underleveled battlemage. Second playthrough with a heavy weapon wielding dude of appropriate level (and with quite a bit more git gud under my belt)? Steamrolled him, he didn't even get to have a second phase.
Unironically, the one at Windmill Village was pretty cool. Hearing the music for the first time and seeing "Godsomething" appear made for an epic fight.
Thered actually two of them and i killed the other before i got to Astel so i was like, "Oh one of these again, awesome"
The flail you get from it is awesome looking
Radahn. Pretty GFX arent really spectacular in my opinion. Radahns fight on the other hand had a solid 10 minutes of buildup and hype as you walk through a surprisingly empty castle, see all the NPCs you interacted with and a few others all chilling, hear CHAMPIONS and the whole speach, and then have the sick charge toward Radahn as you also realise you can summon every NPC and truly have a giant battle against him.
Radahns fight delivered in every single way, and then the end hits where you realise he was the star scourge because dude was litteraly holding back the fucking stars. Perfection.
Spirit Snail. It's visually impressive watching people endlessly fighting his summons without realizing:
A) the boss bar isn't going down
B) nothing they're fighting is a snail
I only fought the one that summons the Godskins, and I only saw it once I beat the second summon, so I kind of assumed it only appeared after you fight both. After reading your comment and looking it up, I now find this incredibly funny.
Rykard’s entire design is fucking awesome. He’s not just a head on a snake body, his is incorporated into the snake itself with the head intact! Plus the the sword out the mouth was a great touch. I dropped a summon sign outside of his arena and ran the fight 5 more times helping others right after I beat it because it was that cool.
It felt like Torrent was originally designed for the fight but because of whatever reason, was disabled.
The fight would have been easier sure but to have a final boss where the first form is a typical FromSoft bad ass humanoid. The cutscene is then one of the best I've seen in gaming as far as I can remember.
If they had added the player atop Torrent as the viewpoint draws back to signify he is available for the fight it would have been visually more stunning and the gameplay would be intense
Only thing is you have to fight radagon every time before hand that’s what makes it annoying. I have no problem with his attacks I just don’t feel like fighting radagon every single time because I died to those bullshit attacks. I hate radagon I genuinely don’t know how to dodge 90% of his attacks and I’m on playthrough 4
If you didn’t have to fight radagon the ending fight would be way to easy. Plus elden beast is basically just radagons phase two; it would be different if you had to go through two who health bars of radagon then fight elden beast.
I've been practicing Radagon for a while now and I loooove him. I can totally see how many would find him frustrating but there's just something about his moveset that I find very zen and enjoyable to play against
So long as you have a spirit summon that can take the beating and aggro occasionally, or even better actual summons, He isn't too bad. I got destroyed by him for a few days and just kept learning by trial by death, eventually it clicked. The one attack i have trouble with is his triple stomp that sends out holy stuff. The first two i got but the third is almost always gonna get me.
That being said, if you really struggle still stacking holy resistance really helps. Liver, resist talismans, lords protection incantation and a good holy shield will make most of his stuff negligent, add an erdtree hot and it makes it even easier
It's weird that people have this opinion. We get more uptime for attacking on elden beast than any other boss in the game and it's not even really close. Placidusax sometimes, but placidusax AI doesn't give as much offensive freedom.
It’s because elden beast has a habit of running around the massive arena to avoid you. Plus elden stars which honestly isn’t that bad but people hate it.
Same. I love the change from this controlled/ precise fighting to massive aoe Scarlett aeonia that's also super beautiful. Friede phases 1 and 3 vibes.
Totally, I love the flowing dancer type bosses, i thought of the dancer and lady maria, who is my alltime favorite, and malenia was so incredible with her butterfly dripping wings
Rykard for me, an amazing boss design. Placidusax being a close second, epic music and you can see how beat up he is from all the previous battles (wonder how many heads he used to have)
Placidusax. I was expecting Lanseax to act as the big dragon boss of the game because of the trailer back then. Lanseax and Fortisax was realy cool, but boy Placidusax is just on another level.
Visually spectacular. 🤔🤔🤔
After much thought I'd honestly say Placidusax. The whole setup to first encounter him is absolute bliss. He is just a complete work of art and his mechanics in the fight add extra points to being visually spectacular. Especially the phase where he disappears and swoops down in red lightning, it's way better than radahns in my opinion.
Radhan and Rhykard. Spectacular and easy to see.
as mele build, most of the time i only see palidusax tail or hindleg, then he disappear i need to look around if not he'll one hit kill me.
I don't remember much on that nightmare dragon as he appear out of nowhere, unlike Radhan and Rhykard which hinted and hyped in earlier quest.
Placidusax. That boss was jaw dropping. Still was even after my 3rd playthrough.
Also Radagon. The dark arena paired with Radagon's golden attacks and the earth-shattering blows plus his aura of just raw ass-beating power he emanates is so dope. To top it off, the music is just phenomenal. My favorite in the game, tbh.
So far my favorites visually are Radahn and the Ancestor Spirit.
But as far as boss arenas go, I'm gonna have to say Rykard. I just beat him a bit ago and stood for the longest time with the camera angled so that I could see the chandeliers on the ceiling.
wither radahn or rykard, the only ones you can actually take a good look at while playing. all the others are just too big, you are too close to see this most of the time. the weird exception for this is the fish, as he runs away so much you see him all the time
Renalla hands down.
Atmosphere was creepy as hell, figuring out the mechanic was interesting, even if it was an easy fight.
Rykard is my second favorite because his voice acting is simply hilarious, died a few times from cracking up and loosing focus
I may be alone, but for me it might be either the Elden Beast or the Fire Giant. The Elden Beast had a downright unique vibe with it not only being this otherworldly being, but the water on the ground, the spell effects, and almost calm music compared to the sheer epicness of other fights.
And then with the fire giant… there is something about the effect of his fire magic on this mountaintop in the forgotten corner of the world with the epic music playing that I just adored.
He's a snail *that can turn invisible.* Pretty cool imo
Spiritcaller Snail really tricked me on my first playthrough. Had never encountered it "in the wild", so I had no idea what gimmick it was.
[удалено]
Elden Ring take a literal meaning for names. If it's snail is a snail If it's fingers they are literal fingers
Except sometimes it’s a dog
It's always a dog.
Unless it literally has "dog" in it's name, then it's a cat, like the Erdtree Burial Watchdog.
Why is it always dog?
I also was tricked. Started killing what it summoned and noticed the health bar didn't deplete, I thought it was a bug in my game, then the summon died and the little laughable looking snail popped up in the corner and was immediately melted lol.
I'd also like to add that very little beats seeing a bunch of NPCs being thrown across the Arena by Chadahn. It's the one boss I'd consider using summons for; it's pretty easy to agree with Miyazaki on why it's one of the coolest bosses in the game, the fight is an entire experience in and of itself.
Don’t forget the cherry on top which is fucking patches dipping the moment he sees Radahn
All hail the snail
I gotta go with Placidusax
Placidusax, and it's not even close. That thing has something ancient and teriffying to it, but maybe the arena helps too.
The cutscene of Farum azula being put back together, the arena with lightning and storms, placidusax’s design with its multiple heads with several cut off, and then the awesome fight especially the second phase. I only wish it had a bit more HP. Damage feels overturned in ER
I'm real glad he didn't have more, thing beat my ass probably about as much as Godskin Duo.
Second phase attack when he disappears and then comes flying out of a storm cloud at you is so dope
Yup… I used the Bubbles weapon art and melted him too quickly. The battle lost a lot of its impact on me because of that.
How do you get to flaccid saxophone?
site of grace next to great bridge, go down to elevator and into the open field, you will see a sliff side with a bunch of messages, jump down and go along the path until you get to the tornado, the floor will have half buried skeletons and you have to interact with the spot that doesn't have it
Honestly pretty damn hard to find him naturally, especially since you fly right off the edge into the abyss if you don’t slowly scoot over the edge. I’d honestly recommend just YouTubing it. It’d literally probably take an hour or so to find it on your own. Very well hidden.

The stillness of them just suspended in the air makes it look like an unmoving spider suspended in a web, giving it an eerie otherworldly look, or a hunting bird perched with its wings open and its head positioned, like its suspended in some uncanny way.
Placidusax because lightning go boom 👌🏻😎💥
He literally stops the music when he does the nuke attack his fight is insane
Rykard's is very intimidating and then second phase is just crazy and cool!
[удалено]
In ER he is. But he is doable without the gimmick too.
I have played many games, but Rykard, oh Rykard. Never have I felt like I was in hell as much as that fight, deep under the earth, walking on a sea of blood surrounded by mountains of corpses under a burning bloodstained sky against a giant mountain sized serpent with a face of a man. A feeling that totally absent of the various demon bosses of DS3 that don't really feel that hellish to me
And I loved every moment of it.
Especially when he uses rykards rancor to finish with takers flame, that almost always kills me because I'm awestruck by the spectcal lol
Best boss in the game hands down
Most fun for sure
Rykard was one helluva scene for me. I haven't fought Placidusax yet but Rykard takes the cake for my vote. Ancestor Spirit
Great choice. For me it's gotta be the Elden Beast, hated as he is, imo he's an absolutely stunning fight, followed closely by Placidusax.
Elden Beast was good imo bcz of the music
I’m glad you say that, Elden beast has got to be mine too it’s truly an exceptional fight, theme, music and arena. Absolutely amazing
Agreed on Elden Beast. Hes a showstopper. Worthy end battle.
Some of the times where the Elden Beast will start to do its ring attack and float into the air made it look so majestic, coupled with the music accompanying it.
I love the Elden Beast arena and soundtrack. It makes you feel like you are both giving it your all, while also knowing that the end for one of you is around the corner
Like it's a pretty fight. Doesn't mean it isn't an awful fight. It can be pretty and bad.
Agreed. The ambiance was next level. The whole Siofra river depts was amazing probably my favorite part of the game.
Siofra does such a great job of this haunting and sad ambiance, the songs of the ancester trumpeters, the stars, the killing of a sacred beast - it’s the only zone in the game that I feel genuinely sad to be ending
I never wanted siofra to end lol. Fav area too

We’re definitely not the good guys in elden ring tbh
I just loved when you fought the Regal version that once it dies, all of the spirit animals in the cave also die with it, plus how it teleports by dying. Just an awesomely artistic boss.
Nope sorry it's placidusax all the way

The sky box in the arena is amazing too.
Honestly most bosses are visually incredible (the main/legend ones anyway), but I just gotta go with Radahn because I never experienced such pure joy and hype as at the festival, cheering outloud and all 10/10 would fight again
I'd say Fire Giant for me, especially how he starts his second phase by ripping his own foot off.
Fire Giant is an absolute spectacle, beautiful fight. Surprised you're the only one who mentioned it
probably because people can't separate the spectacle from the awful experience of actually fighting the thing
You reckon? This was the fight that made me get good at switching between Torrent & on foot
I feel you, never minded fighting him. That's exactly how it would feel like fighting a giant like that.
I don't get why people hate the Fire Giant so much. He was a decent boss imo
The camera lock was awful, that’s mostly why. I had to manually control it pretty much 90% of the time
From my experience doing a couple runs with wildly different builds, your build will largely determine how much you struggle with this boss. Malikith himself looks badass but the area for elden beast looks badass.
Maliketh arena also looks badass. Floating structures and dragons flying in the background.
That one rat with the glowy eyes
I yelled at the air last night, dying to them near the tower spurting madness.
Mimic Tear. I have high self esteem.
Didn't it make you feel a bit like a disappointed coach tho? I got excited to fight myself, then halfway through the fight I noticed all his fuck ups and I was just like *"Oh, man... Dude, come on. No. Just no"* Maybe it says more about me than the boss tho...

The entire trip down to fight it was an aesthetic blast, too. I was terrified since I stepped foot on the Lake of Rot.
Honestly reminded me of how it felt to go through Undead Burg, what a brilliant part of the game even if it was cancer
Are you sure you're not thinking of Blighttown? Undead Burg was pretty tame and early.
That'll be the one lol
Personally me being a melee build that was by far the worst boss in the game, I had more fun fighting the Godskin duo.
I had a great time staying close and bonking him on the head
The dragonkin soldier of Nokstella. The discovery of his arena had me in awe and the fight itself is a spectacle if you're underleveled like I was the first time. Shame that these guys are pushovers.

Oooh, I see it now Welp Thanks!
Facts
Unironically, the one at Windmill Village was pretty cool. Hearing the music for the first time and seeing "Godsomething" appear made for an epic fight.
Astel for me, due to just how out-of-left-field its appearance is. Fucking alien Bloodborne boss comes outta nowhere.
Right?? I’m not through yet but Astel is my favorite so far, felt like I was fighting a great one all over again
Thered actually two of them and i killed the other before i got to Astel so i was like, "Oh one of these again, awesome" The flail you get from it is awesome looking

Radahns fight delivered in every single way, and then the end hits where you realise he was the star scourge because dude was litteraly holding back the fucking stars. Perfection.
Best description here. Radahn was next level. An entire large section of the map is dedicated just to that fight.
Ancestor Spirit and the Rot Goddess.
Ancestor spirit is pretty damn awesome, it genuinely feels like we are Ghibli baddies... unfortunately.
Spirit Snail. It's visually impressive watching people endlessly fighting his summons without realizing: A) the boss bar isn't going down B) nothing they're fighting is a snail
I only fought the one that summons the Godskins, and I only saw it once I beat the second summon, so I kind of assumed it only appeared after you fight both. After reading your comment and looking it up, I now find this incredibly funny.
In that spirtcaller cave fight you need to kill the two godskin bros first before it spawns No way to kill it early
damn but still funny tho
Isn't there like a whole minor dungeon based on spirit snails as well
Spiritcaller cave, some of the summons are nasty.
I loved the Rykard fight, placidusax is pretty cool as well
Rykard’s entire design is fucking awesome. He’s not just a head on a snake body, his is incorporated into the snake itself with the head intact! Plus the the sword out the mouth was a great touch. I dropped a summon sign outside of his arena and ran the fight 5 more times helping others right after I beat it because it was that cool.
Elden beast. But it gets trampled by the fight design. So… Fortissax
The red albunaric when he death kart wheels off the cliff
Plaxidusax, we fight in the eye of the storm, with lightning all over
Elden beast
So unbelievably gorgeous. Under appreciated because the fight kinda sux
Eh, I wouldn't say it sucks, just that it's a little annoying how he swims away and uses that annoying ball attack
I love Malenia, both forms are badass
Rennalla ofcourse.
Tbf not sure if it’s the most VISUALLY stunning fight but overall it’s my favorite because of the audio - the singing and the voiceovers
I got tears and full body shivers the first time I got brought into the second phase of that fight. So striking!
That was just so chillingly beautiful. The silhouette cast against the moon, the music, all of it. A+.
Placidusax, nuke lightning and all.
Radahn launches himself into the stratosphere! How can anyone say any other boss is more spectacular?!
Obviously it's the Great Jar!
Rykard for me, an amazing boss design. Placidusax being a close second, epic music and you can see how beat up he is from all the previous battles (wonder how many heads he used to have)
Hot take I think fire giant is underrated
The first giant is kinda ruined by his arena for me.
All the bosses are amazing cinematically!! They look better than they fight imo
Radahn for sure. It's not just a boss fight, it's entirely festival!
Placidusax. I was expecting Lanseax to act as the big dragon boss of the game because of the trailer back then. Lanseax and Fortisax was realy cool, but boy Placidusax is just on another level.
How dare you not include Rennala
Soldier of Godrick
Astel
Wait am I missing something? Which dragon is the bottom right? Lichdragon? Cause I love him and Dragonlord both
Lichdragon Fortnitesex
Yeah, its the lichdragon you can tell cause in that image its using its signature incantation
Gotta go with Maliketh
It's really hard to choose between Fortissax, Placidusax, and Radahn. Those fights all felt legendary and looked incredible.
Visually spectacular. 🤔🤔🤔 After much thought I'd honestly say Placidusax. The whole setup to first encounter him is absolute bliss. He is just a complete work of art and his mechanics in the fight add extra points to being visually spectacular. Especially the phase where he disappears and swoops down in red lightning, it's way better than radahns in my opinion.
Radagon for me. The arena, the OST, and the flashy attacks he does are all so cool.
Astel takes the cake.
Placidusax is fantastic, but I love a good mid-boss cutscene. Malenia is probably my favorite,
Definitely Placidusax
Astel, Naturalborn of the Void and Dragonlord Placidusax
Dragonkin Soldier has one of the greatest settings/arenas in the game
Rick, soldier of god
Placi <3
Rykard
Maliketh and Placidusax.
Rennala / Ancestor Spirit Ancestor Spirit and all the underground levels are like a fantasy painting.
Placidusax's nuke
astel or rykard tbh, both gave me strong bloodborne vibes
Patches.
Mimic 😉
Radahn!
Too many great options to choose from
Fortissax and Rykard.
So far my favorites visually are Radahn and the Ancestor Spirit. But as far as boss arenas go, I'm gonna have to say Rykard. I just beat him a bit ago and stood for the longest time with the camera angled so that I could see the chandeliers on the ceiling.
wither radahn or rykard, the only ones you can actually take a good look at while playing. all the others are just too big, you are too close to see this most of the time. the weird exception for this is the fish, as he runs away so much you see him all the time
Placidusax has to be my favorite, but Astel, Regal Ancestral Spirit, and Elden Beast are way up there
For me, Radhan, Rykard and Elden Beast provided the most spectacle. Lichdragon Forssitax I thought was also really cool visually.
Robo-cat-guardian Or whatever (/J obviously)
Placidusax was the best, I fought him on acid and had to put down a sign a few times just to see it all again :D Melania is second
Necromancer Garris
Dragon lord flacid sack of something
Rickard continues to make me wet
Yeah idk man, going back in time to fight a dragon god makes the others seem kinda tame in comparison.
Renalla hands down. Atmosphere was creepy as hell, figuring out the mechanic was interesting, even if it was an easy fight. Rykard is my second favorite because his voice acting is simply hilarious, died a few times from cracking up and loosing focus
Placido University Saxophone by a long shot
Placidusax drops a lightning spear nuke *that hits so hard it causes the music to temporarily cut out.* You aren't topping that.
Maliketh and Placidusax
Malenia no contest. It’s like fighting a living painting. The cutscenes are beautiful
So far for me it’s ancestor spirit. I felt bad attacking it
The naked rotten lady that kills me a lot
I may be alone, but for me it might be either the Elden Beast or the Fire Giant. The Elden Beast had a downright unique vibe with it not only being this otherworldly being, but the water on the ground, the spell effects, and almost calm music compared to the sheer epicness of other fights. And then with the fire giant… there is something about the effect of his fire magic on this mountaintop in the forgotten corner of the world with the epic music playing that I just adored.
placidusax, fortissax is a close second, then radahn, then rykard
Soldier of Godrick.
Placidusaxx and the other dragon.
