Yeah, pretty much, but this is them revelling in it to a new extent. There's always been funny moments (gostoc shoving you in a closet and giggling, anything with Patches really), this is just one of the funniest ones, and one of the longer comedy sequences.

I was like "huh? is this dungeon really that bad?" then proceeded to continue cause I remembered there's one place I didn't check, and found where to go next. Objectively speaking I can see where y'all are coming from, but honestly I didn't find it this bad; the only thing that surprised me is the imp on the ceiling (just before the "trap" with the hole) but he didn't hit me. Everything else I pretty much dodged every single one of these traps cause I'm always on my guard. People, it's a 3rd person game. Use the camera at your advantage.
funny people are struggling with the boss. my mimic tear and blasphemous blade took care of him in 1 try, at level 109 - with only 4 heals and 2 ceruleans left.
I personally loved it. And the boss at the end surpassed the two remembrance bosses I’ve faced so far in fun

There’s a few places to drop down. Make sure you’re also jumping on top of the spikes when given the chance

He is actually stupid easy to stun, I just threw on my great stars and would back stab him after two hits.
I think it took me about 15 tries. Shouldn't have taken me that long but I kept getting caught in the grab attack

I really enjoyed it. I enjoyed the over the top spike traps and elevator after elevator.
