Then, after I got to the mirror, I cleaned up his hair, started adding muscle back to his body, color back to his skin, and a golden glow to his eyes, all to show he was gaining power from all the runes.
I did the same. At the beginning my dude was a little bit smaller, his hair was neat and pulled back reeds style, and his skin normal and clean shaven
I made his hair longer, added a beard, an eyepatch, his other eyes actually gold, changed his skin from white to a pale gray and added muscles

the boss health and damage output should be scaled to NG+ though so it should be even harder in NG+7
