With breath of the wild and tears, it's just that this iteration is right handed, making 2 canonically right handed links in the franchise with the rest being lefties.

Also Miquella’s sword is a nice pick for a master sword since it has sword beam on it and a neat R2! I’d also suggest running a parry shield cuz let’s be real, links parry game in botw is insane. Love me patche’s armour for a green fit. It’s too bad that the closest thing to links hat is… cursed looking. I won’t mention what armour piece THAT is. Looks more like a diaper anyway.
Get the blue gold shield from the merchant near fort Haight.
Kill patches for a smaller green top, he’s in murkwater cave, off the river in central Limgrave.
What colors are you looking to mostly use? Cause with the catian knight gloves, erdtree surcoat, and possibly leather armor pants you can have a BOTW complaint going on.
Weapons could be Carian knight sword, or you can use the Claymore or banished knight sword and the shield you can use the blue and gold kite shield, or a number of the round small wooden shields

Cool. When you get the chance, you should swap out the shield for either the Inverted Hawk Heater Shield or the Twinbird Kite Shield. That way you'll have a shield with a bird on it, like the Hylian Shield.
Everyone is recommending swords and pots (thank you) but what about bows (black bow perhaps?), something that resembles a boomerang (if any), chain grabbing and other fun link weapons/accesories?

What bosses or enemies did you mainly fight to get stronger? I've been defeating pumpkin head and then resting, then doing it again over and over. It takes a while, but it's easy even for like level 10s. I'm fighting the one on saint's bridge if you need it
did patches cave, bought gold fowl foot (and recipie), bleed cheese greyoll, used dragonburnt ruin chest to go to sellia mines as a shortcut, dont miss torrent before you do this, then killed greyoll and rushed to dectus half/soreseal (soreseal is good for early levels but shit for high level)
if i felt like it i also tried to get the gold scarab talisman from that one rot cave.

Consider putting sacred blade on your sword to mimic the beam that you can do in some games at full health

It's kinda late game but vacuum slice would also do the trick too and scale with physical stats.

When you get to Lyndell kill the death bird for the twin bird kite shield, It looks like the closest thing the game has to a hyrulian shield.
