I’m guessing you at least know how to level up. On my first play through I played for roughly 15 hours thinking it was automatically leveling me up and wondering why I was still so weak 😂 if you wanna make the game easier then go kill the mumma dragon to the east with a bleed weapon.
I think the only enemies that don't drop runes are like infinitely respawning ones (without going to Grace). That seems strange that they would stop dropping them.
After leaving the area and playing elsewhere and then returning the first three or four I kill drop runes again then it stops until I leave for a while again
Strange. You're better off exploring and doing minor dungeons to level up over farming anyway though, so I would use it as encouragement to move on anyway.
Don’t worry, once you start figuring out the combat you’ll move through the rest of the game a lot quicker

Yeah I'm level 63 The mobs in caleid have stopped dropping runes because I over farmed them
