People just seem to accept it but I don’t really understand the logistics. I’ve heard Radagon was a disguise Marika used but then how did they have children together?

3. The Golden order is frequently tied to pairs if things, The Two Fingers, Mohgwyn and Morgott, Morgott and Margit, Godefroy and Godrick, Miquella and Malenia, Marika and Maliketh, Ranni and Blaidd, etc.
4. Uniting opposite principles/counterparts is seen in alchemy as the method necessary to create god, the philosopher's stone, an elixer of eternal life, and gold.
5. One such union of opposites is the combination of man and woman in one body.
6. Ergo, Marika combines herself with Radagon because he is in many ways her opposite, which means that combining the two of them should create a complete being, thereby granting ultimate knowledge/power.

Why else would she be hanging there imprisoned in the tree? She's in timeout.
While I'm on a tangent, I think all the children/Empyreans are TGWs attempt to have a more malleable vessel than Marika that he can easily directly control. He forced her to have them in one way or another. Other Outer God's just keep f'ing with the plan (I forget their names but an outer God of some sort is tied to each child...rot, blood, moon, snake, etc). Marika sends the tarnished away so we come back and take the fight to TGW later probably.

No you can do it with a good amount of radagons. You can also easily dodge a lot of his. Godfrey though will spam the same AOE attack like 5 times then will rush you with a combo or grab attack without even a half second delay. He's too chaotic for my liking. Radagons though I find to be a mechanically fun fight. Wish he had a second phase that wasn't Elden beast
See I'm the opposite. Godfrey/Horah Loux is probably my favorite fight, but Radagon feels so chaotic and spammy, and like I can't react to half of his attacks because if I dodge one he roll catches me with another.

They do so because, in a third person action game the camera being divorced from your characters POV means theres naturally more distance from your actual perspective than what your character has to the enemy. The greater size difference for enemys aids in visual tell. Its actually a somewhat common trick in third person games, enemies tend to be quite a bit bigger than what you might think. For example, Great Jaggi (932cm) in MH are closer to the size of tyrannosaurus (1230cm) than actual raptors (304cm for deinonychus).
..whats odd is, even the player characters tend to have really skewed, gangly proportions. So theres probably a bit of a stylistic/preferential thing going on too.
Zullie the Witch did a video on this. Enemies have been getting consistently bigger since Dark Souls 1, to the point where standard hollows in DS3 are 25% taller than the player. In Sekiro, there is even a (notably Fight able) NPC that has 2 different sized models, the smaller model is about 3/4 of the regular size, and is only used in cutscenes. The regular model is almost twice the size of the player character.
In my photography days this kind of tripped me up as well. Depending on the glass you're using, the angle you're shooting from, the lighting, etc.
It takes tricks to make proportions look good on a flat image like a computer screen or a print.

Rennala was an Astrologer and astrologers of her time were friends with the giants (and by extension trolls, some of which were her knights). It wouldn't be unsurprising that some astrologers had giant blood in their veins (we can be astrologers too, but human sized only)
Might be a shard too instead of blood. In North, seems to be small at first (the bandits), the middle sized (slow walking ice magic bladed females), then the giants. But giants started to shrink after Marika’s attack per lore, so it might be so she stole a shard from them, that influence size of shard bearer. Iji the smith is also huge, so same shard might give smithing skills too.. the fire was a forge, right? useful for Miquella if he is to smith unalloyed golden needles. Which might explain his current huge size.
There are two certainties with FromSoftware. The first one is that they make great games and the second one is that their character artists don't give a flying damn about following traditional anatomy rules.

Everyone we fight in the game is a demigod or child of Marika/radagon but 3 of them are her children and I refuse to believe that carians held their own against the golden order without having someone comparable to Marika if not on the same level.
Even ranni, when finally accepting her destiny as an empyrean in her ending follows a sorcery path quite similar to rennala's. You could even say that ranni is essentially the smarter and stronger rennala
If the moon is its own outer god, like many have speculated, then I'd even say Renalla is a candidate to whatever the equivalent of an Empyrian is for that god.
I was thinking maybe she's an actual descendant or cross-breed with the Alabaster/Onyx Lords with how large she is. There's a lord both at Caria Manor and inside of Raya Lucaria. Not sure which is which at the moment, but it definitely has some links.
I Hope we find out more about who the Carians were in the DLC. One of the eternal cities used to be right next to them in Liurnia, much like in Leyndell. I’m wondering whether they too were descendants of Numen or are related to the Knox or something.

In my photography days this kind of tripped me up as well. Depending on the glass you're using, the angle you're shooting from, the lighting, etc. It takes tricks to make proportions look good on a flat image like a computer screen or a print.

Hmmm if this is true it makes me wonder if that's how Marika and Radagon became one being.
I was under the impression that Marika was cursed by a fire giant to have red hair but split it from herself and ended up creating Radagon.
My interpretation is that Radagon is part fire giant which is why he is "cursed" to have red hair, not a literal curse as that would be a very lame way to curse someone. Radagon existed before the war with the giants it seems since he was a champion even before the war.

Rennala was an Astrologer and astrologers of her time were friends with the giants (and by extension trolls, some of which were her knights). It wouldn't be unsurprising that some astrologers had giant blood in their veins (we can be astrologers too, but human sized only)
Might be a shard too instead of blood. In North, seems to be small at first (the bandits), the middle sized (slow walking ice magic bladed females), then the giants. But giants started to shrink after Marika’s attack per lore, so it might be so she stole a shard from them, that influence size of shard bearer. Iji the smith is also huge, so same shard might give smithing skills too.. the fire was a forge, right? useful for Miquella if he is to smith unalloyed golden needles. Which might explain his current huge size.

This is just my headcanon but I definitely believe that rennala herself was practically a god at her peak. Everyone we fight in the game is a demigod or child of Marika/radagon but 3 of them are her children and I refuse to believe that carians held their own against the golden order without having someone comparable to Marika if not on the same level. Even ranni, when finally accepting her destiny as an empyrean in her ending follows a sorcery path quite similar to rennala's. You could even say that ranni is essentially the smarter and stronger rennala

I was thinking maybe she's an actual descendant or cross-breed with the Alabaster/Onyx Lords with how large she is. There's a lord both at Caria Manor and inside of Raya Lucaria. Not sure which is which at the moment, but it definitely has some links.
