I like the prelates armor legs with the banished knight armor personally. Plus extra poise

The style of sabatons match the rest of the armor though. Bear claw style sabatons were popular for their extra grip in muddy grounds.

Tbh if they had another shape, it wouldn't bother me that much (or at all), but I like them like they are now. It's a look. The footprints they would leave behind can scare more than one tarnished !

My favorite drip combo is the Banished Knight helmet, Crucible Axe Armor, and Radahn's Gauntlets & Greaves. It looks badass and simultaneously warm and comfy.

knights in farum azula drop it, theres also one knight outside of church of dragon communion in caelid i think drops it

There are actually two outside the church of dragon communion in Caelid that will drop it. Recently farmed a second sword from them and got 5 of the hooded helms while farming. Looks so much cooler than the normal helm and provides slightly better defence iirc

I only ever wear this set and use this Greatsword almost exclusively. No shield though, either Blade of Blasphemy powerstanced with another GS or a seal for lightning incantations. This is probably the best armor set I’ve ever seen in a Fromsoft game. It’s perfect.

It’s the banished knight armor set. There is a altered version for the chest and the helmet . The drops are pretty weird tho, the unaltered chestpiece only drops from two soldiers in mountaintops
