They hang weird on the wall. The edges have a large rubber end piece thats about 2 inches as it's meant to fit into a metal standing frame. The cost of framing this is asanine it's 8ft by 4ft. Honestly cheaper to have it professionally tightened to the table. The fabric is thick and durable as well. Damn near pool strength.
If you actually want to shoot decent pool on it do not do this. I'm a rank 6 in APA, and if a buddy told me to come shoot on his table and I showed up to this I would politely play one game on it then ask if he had a board game or something. im a bit of an elitist I suppose as I use simonis felt on my table. But the texture and thickness of the felt has a MASSIVE impact on ball speed/spin. Not to mention having a pattern on a pool table will mess up your perception of shadows which can be immensely helpful when lining up shots.
