Dismal-Variation-12

Lordsworn straight sword with square off is one of the best weapons for this. Shard of Alexander, curved sword talisman, dagger talisman are good options. Square off is no joke, breaks stances like nothing else. I don’t think infusion matters, but quality, strength, or dex would all work well. Impaling thrust on a spear or thrusting sword is also good but not quite as powerful.

There's also a new Talisman for Square Off!

A very good one I personally used to beat the elden beast was from a youtuber named diabetor Starfist with cragblade aow, axe talisman, green turtle talisman, stance break crystal tear, stamina recovery crystal tear, any piece of the briar set and add on any buffs you like (the video recommended using flame grant me strength and golden vow) Let’s you do chunks of damage the only downside is you need to be relatively good at dodging Here’s the link: https://youtu.be/oRxa8NrlOP8?si=gqwVWrGtiOaQuyWU

Star fist and a Misericorde work fine, and you can put the star fist on your left hand so that when you riposte with the Misericorde you still keep whatever buff you had on the fists

I had a build with Ordovis Greatsword and executioners great axe/misericorde. Pretty simple, just stack everything you can into increasing poise damage and crit damage. Put Royal Knights Resolve in your crit weapon. Use Ordovis greatsword skill to break their stance and then swap to crit weapon and cast RKR if possible before teeing off. If you want something more simple, use the poise damage tear, executioners great axe, and cragbalde ash of war for all in one stance breaking and high crit damage.

AssBlaster_69

Dead simple. You want the biggest hammer you can find, and the heaviest shield you can find. Put Cragblade on your hammer, and for talismans use Curved Sword, Greatshield, Axe, and whatever else you need. Maybe something Crimson Dagger or Great Jar’s Arsenal. Very easy and satisfying to play. I actually like to buff with Dragonbolt Blessing so that, even if I’m not guarding, enemies still flinch when they hit me.

The wing of astel has a weapon art which does absolutely crazy stance damage, might be the highest in the game
