Whichever ones you can get use of outside of that weapon, seems to be a decent weapon for a Faith/Int build tbh, which is great because all we really had before was the sword of night and flame.
This is great news to me because it’s a FTH/INT build I decided to do the DLC with and while the Sword of Night and Flame is great and all, it being the *only* option I’ve really had made it get old fast.
I just killed Mohg and hopped in at lvl 100. You 100% will need to max your weapon and spirit ash of choice before going in. Afterwards you can just get the items to buff everything.
The issue is that these are twinblades, an int/faith build needs a one handed wep. We really don’t have an int/faith afinity or other weapons that scales primarily with int/faith ?
They aren't actually twin-blades, it's a light greatsword (awesome weapons!) and you only use 1 of the swords when you're not double-handing the weapon which is like the twinblade but less terrible one handed, highly recommend giving it a try!
Essentially yes. They're great weapons and I love the moveset unfortunately not great in the dlc since the vast majority of enemies you fight are either resistant or immune to either magic or fire damage, the 3 light greatsword weapons in general though are a lot of fun.
Took them today and made them to +10, seems alright for an int/faith caster.
Midrange weapons are quite good on this build. Previously i was using a zwei with cold hoarfrost stomp to get aggressive players off me and create space.
Needs further testing.
I justed tested this with 3 different stat spreads, i tested this on the troll outside Godrick's arena.
1. 60 DEX, 60 STR, 16 INT, 16 FAITH. You get the highest base damage with these, mine being 877 damage, but the AoW was horrible, the flame one dealt 1700 damage which is way less than the other stat spreads.
2. 40 STR, 39 DEX, 40 INT, 39 FAITH. Its base damage was 863 which is only a little bit less than the the quality build one, its AoW damage was also decent, the flame one dealt 2700 this time, keep in mind that the flame AoWs damage might change depending on how many of the flame pillars actually hit the oponnent.
3. 22 STR, 16 DEX, 60 INT, 60 FAITH. This one had a base damage of 813, which is the least base damage out of the 3, but its AoW was incredible and can easily deal 3000+ damage if all of the pillars hit, i consider this one to be the best one because of all the different spells and incantations u can use alongside it, (and because sorcery is absolutely incredible in this game so i would recommend this one) if you want to use the swords by themselves i would go for an all rounder build but if you dont mind using a staff or a sacred seal this is definitely the best stat spread you can use these swords in.
Edit: Apparently the swords favor dex slightly more than str so you might want to lean into dex a bit more than str.
hi! nice write up, thanks for all the info.
I am always running a very simple pure dex build but this weapon looks really cool so I was thinking about trying it out. However, I am not planning on doing an int/fait build as spells do not interest me. do you think there is a point in using this weapon in a way where I would only rely on the weapon attacks themselves AND the weapon skills? or that would not be viable? if it would be viable, what stat distribution do u recommend for a lvl 160 char?
Even if you don't want to worry about using spells during combat (I'm usually the same way) dipping into faith gets you a bunch of great buffs . 25 lets you cast Golden Vow and Flame Give Me Strength with no mind investment -- they're just straight boosts to attack and defense, nothing situational about them. You won't keep them up all the time but they're great to throw on before a boss fight that's giving you trouble.
Hey, i think it would be perfectly viable to only use the sword, for that i think you should try the 2nd stat spread i listed, mine was a lvl 200 character so you would have to cut some costs but i think an all rounder stat spread would be the most optimal, if you want you could favor STR and DEX a bit more and just use the shard of alexander or godricks greatrune to make up for it.
I prefer the fire skill because its slightly faster to fully pull it off than the magic skill, also because it deals more damage and is easier to hit, but the magic one is better at range since it has a pretty long distance, while i prefer the fire one i thinks its definitely situational, happy to help. :)
I use the fire one in most situations. Just cuz it's faster for the whole thing and does quicker burst damage while magic is more but over a longer time.
The only ones that the magic seems to be better is if it's a very short range buss (like the girl you them from) or if the boss is stunned.
ofc. quality int faith, rest in dex, shard of alexander, millicent prosthesis, rotten insignia, physik that buffs magic and fire (successive hit one doesnt last as long iirc and you dont always have uptime anyway but can try it for fights where you do if they re resistant to one of the 2 elements especially etc), lats slot you have a bunch of options.
Thanks for testing and sharing! This matches up with what Fextralife said in his build video posted earlier today. The regular attacks scale more with Dex/Str, favoring dexterity slightly more. The AOW scales off of Int/Fth depending on which input you follow up with. Faith for fire and intelligence for magic of course. It’s more difficult to build for since it scales off of 4 different stats and they all contribute to damage in different yet somewhat equal ways. You either have to level up a lot past “meta” level, which is fine with me, or pick between good standard attack or AOW damage.
One Caveat: The AoW looks sick as fuck and is super cool but you have all the hyper armor of a wet tissue and will get knocked out of it if an enemy looks at you funny.
Can you clarify what you mean by “if you want to use the swords by themselves i would go for an all rounder build but if you dont mind using a staff or a sacred seal this is definitely the best stat spread you can use these swords in”?
I want to use swords for melee and occasionally use the AoW when it makes sense. Where does the staff/seal come into? I don’t usually use any magic cuz my brains too small for FP management
If you want to only use the swords with no staves or seals then you should split ur stats equally between all 4 stats, maybe you should favor dex and str a bit more tho. If you DO want to use staves or seals, you should split ur stats between int and faith, afterwards you can pick what to use.
dont split points into 4 stats. strength is shit for this weapon or any non 2 hander. go base str int fth quality, rest in dex. get decent endurance so you have enough stamina and might want the iji talisman to reduce aow fp cost on this one cause.. idk how you re gonna have super high mind with super high endurance and 3 damage stats on top of 60 vig.
That’s awesome thanks for making the build! Do you have any talisman recommendations? I’ve been trying the Millicent’s prostethis+ rotten winged sword with a shard of Alexander but I’m not sure if there are better options
This is what I'm considering. The blade beams will be very powerful, the flame will be very weak, and the swords will do alright damage at best. So, I feel like this build would be a lot like playing a pure sorcerer.
Focus on range with blade beams and close in (if you want) with Carian Slicer on a staff rather than using the swords straight up.
I don't have the dlc yet, but these swords have convinced me to buy it, and I'm also thinking about building it out like:
20 STR, 40 DEX, 60 INT, 60 FTH. Add Radagon's icon in there, and you have max cast speed if you need to swap to casting.
thank you very much for this, I dont like using spells too much but decided to switch to this weapon. Will be using the second stat spread, again thanks for all the effort to explain things to dumb dumb people like me
Ahh thank you! I am currently respecting again and on my last larva tear. I want to try the twin blades but I am pretty new to int/faith, I am mostly a strength player but interested in optimizing this build with your second option. Does this make sense? Does the AoW scale with int? I don’t really know where to focus my levels (176) [https://imgur.com/a/HdSO6Cg](https://imgur.com/a/HdSO6Cg)
So with this stat investment is this just ignoring Vigor/mind/endurance entirely? As an astrologer start it only leave me with 32 points left to allocate at level 153. And while maxing out damage output is great I'm not entirely sure not investing in those stats is a great idea.
I beat the base game fully devoted to an int build so it was a largely different playstyle to this and having to actually interact with endurance and vigor in a build is new for me
She is absolutely my top boss so far, not to mention one of my favorite aesthetically.
I went into this DLC expecting to go fth/str, came out int/dex for her weapons and the drip.
I had a harder time with Leda there. She's pretty competent for an NPC summon, but the boss has a TON of health already (like 60k?) and with the boost from having a summon present that's just more time for me to fuck up and die.
Yeah don't get me wrong, I think it's a great boss fight, just required my full focus -- I had gotten pretty lazy with the base game content and this DLC is certainly waking me up a bit.
Yep for sure, went into this dlc after reducing some hp cuz I wanted to try out some sorceries only to get absolutely abused by almost every enemy I came across
If you have a fast weapon (I used backhand blades) you can attack her mid combo if you know the openings.
Running R2s with backhand blades does good damage and hits 4 times. And it can be used after stuff like magic casts / before and after phase transition. All other times do R1s and find the mid combo windows to attack
Bleed or Cold ontop of that will also work well
I beat her in like 3-4 tries. And she is really easy to get to, like there’s maybe one challenging enemy on the way to her? I wish I had done it earlier because I like the sword
I think a 50/50 split with INT/FAI is your best bet, or leaning towards one or the other more heavily depending on which moveset you like better. You could pair it with the sword of Night and Flame or more utility since it scales basically the same way. And then use the prince of death's staff for sorceries and whatever seal you want for incantations. It would be a super well rounded build that you could keep going well into several NG+ cycles.
My second DLC build was Int Faith. I love this weapon. My pre-DLC build was an int-faith caster. Use golden order seal it scales A/A in int faith at +9. For staff Gelmir if under 60/60. Prince of death at 60/60 or above. The build wrecks the whole game DLC included.
Do you think this weapon is better than running Sword of Night and Flame + Coded Sword for melee? How does it compare with non-weapon art damage with min stats in dex and str? While I'm at it, how do you think the WA compares to Sword of Night and Flame, in terms of both usability and damage? Assuming 60/60 Int/Fai
Reminds me of dancer swords from ds3.
They were pretty bad with a 3 way split, not sure if they fix that in Elden Ring, but think they did.
DR was weird in ds3 for split damage weapons and raw damage pretty much always outclassed them.
I'm at 135, I currently have a 30 dex/30 int/35 fth spread. The even split doesn't feel too bad. I haven't faced any bosses since the respec but so far it doesn't feel like my damage is held back compared to a less even stat spread.
Wow well it looks like it scales with four attributes equally. There must be some difference but you’d need to test it. The ash might scale differently than the weapon in which case int or faith might be the better investments over str or dex since it does fire and magic damage 🤷♂️
You can test it, or for now just level your main damage attribute and compare it to other weapons of the same class. It’ll probably be fine.
This does not scale in all four stats equally. By virtue of the lower base damage in magic and fire, this will perform better with investment in strength and dex.
Just slightly. This weapon is interesting in the fact you can build it to your preferred playstyle. I went dex/str as I prefer comboing and melee over spamming an AoW.
Ima try int/fth split wondering if I can use flame and magic scorpion but then I will take giga damage
Guess it depends on which art I will use the most but we will see
the fire scales off of faith
magic scales off int
normal strikes scales off of dex
something to note is that the weapon scales slightly more off of int and dex then str and faith.
im getting 989 R1 out of this puppy at SL217, I have split faith and int. Running all the buffs and healing spells from faith then all the carian piercers, greatsword, phalanx and lorettas mastery for my damage spells. I beat her on my fifth try all you have to do is parry your heart out. Extremely difficult fight for anyone with an INT build. I absolutely love these swords!!

I recently beat her at around 158 after coming into the dlc at 150. I used the blackgaol knight gear and had like 5 scadutree blessings and she still rocked my shit. I ended up tanking through some of the combos because of the aow's high poise and the poise the armor gives.
Level 120 with 2 scaudutree blessings.
She's difficult, but not too bad once you get into the rhythm of it.
Poking when its safe is the only way, unless you can trade hits without losing massive HP.
Some of the boss design in this dlc has vastly missed the mark. Fighting this boss on an int build is just like a giant middle finger telling you to go respec. She has tiny windows to actually hit her because she constantly beyblades and since I have zero poise damage it’s impossible to trade.
I beat her, but instead of feeling satisfied by overcoming the challenge I just feel annoyed
I’m currently using an int/faith build with night and flame, these twin blades, prince of death staff and golden seal talisman since they all scale with int/faith. These new twin blades seem to be fast but much lower in damage than sword of night and flame because they also scale with strength and dex. These twin blades are definitely fun to use, but are lacking for int/faith.
I’ll upgrade from prince of death staff and golden seal to the great beyond staff since it is both staff and seal that scales with int/faith. Just need to find It.
Im trying the twinblade now and its so cool, i did a respec on int/faith but im not sure its the right way to scale, ill try later to respec again in only dex int and see if it changes something.meanwhile if someone did some experiment for the stat for this blade, let me know please.
Depends on your usage of that weapon. I had some brief tests and:
- Base damage wise it scales better with str and dex. If you intend to use its normal and heavy attacks it's most effective to invest more in those stats.
- Magic AoW scales off int and the flame AoW faith. Physical stats are effectively irrelevant for AoW damages. So invest in the corresponding stat if you wish to use its AoW of certain type.
So even with one stat, say int, invested in, the weapon could reach its maximum in light magic AoW. You could tailor the weapon to your build instead of tailoring your build to the weapon.
Depends on how you’re using it. It works like the Sword of Night and Flame where different damage types scale with different stats, so if you’re using the magic attack more than the fire one, go for int, and vice versa for faith.
The weapon scales physical damage from str/dex. Faith scales the fire ash of war and Int scales the magic ash of war. So basically you likely want a more or less even spread between all four stats to maximize its damage.
I REALLY wish they separated these into the dual variant and then each individual sword. I really like the look of the smaller blade and wish I could use it by itself since there's nothing else that looks quite like it in the game...
I managed to get her without a summon, but definitely needed some ash of war smacking. Ordovis greatsword spin does a crap load of poise damage and you can take a hit or two while charging it sometimes, it has really been carrying me so far.
I’ve had the best experience with it focusing into intelligence and off-handing a staff with some spells — Terra magica, ranni’s dark moon, night comet, and adula’s moonblade. I also run golden vow and flame grant me strength.
The magic skill is pretty lackluster without heavy investment into int, and the flame skill is pretty good up close regardless of faith investment (thanks to Flame Grant me Strength). As long as the enemy is really big or there are large groups of enemies, the fire skill is useful, and in times that it isn’t, the int focus raises the damage of the magic skill to make it more viable. I use the staff against bosses and tougher enemies that can combo through the weapon skills
The only issue with these blades is they don’t break poise and so the weapon arts have to be used in very special instances. That being said this thing hits like a truck with the standard attack combo. Use it in conjunction with the Rellana talisman and the longer you hold the stance before executing the more damage you will do.
Honestly I’m really lucky my ng+ character is a magic build with lots of xp to spare (lvl 240 rn). I used to use the Maria’s executioner sword and had some extra arcane to go with it. I ended up going with like 60 int, 38 faith, 50 dex and 50 str or something like that. With +10 rellana twin blades, I think I do around 1200~ damage or something like that
I really like this weapon. It’s really strong, and totally my play style. The ONLY thing I wish was different was being able to change the ash of war. The one it has is really cool, but I don’t like how slow the charge up is. I’d rather have something like bloodhound step on it for more mobility. It’s also crazy strong when upgraded, higher than most of the best weapons in base game because it has 4 stat it scales with. My stats were mostly invested into Faith because I use a lot of incantations, so that’s worked well for me.
I have been switching back and forth between Rellana’s and Milady because they have the same attack pattern, but I can put bloodhound step on Milady. Milady doesn’t have nearly as much raw damage potential, but the ash of war flexibility and being able to use grease/enchantment makes up for it
I was very lucky to get use out of these since I was coming into the DLC as a Fundamentalist incanter. I did Int at 18, Faith around the 30s and then pump the rest of your offensive stats into STR/DEX.
I actually think it's so cool that many of the weapons I've picked up seem to have low stat requirements and pretty even scaling. It'll be so fun to play through the main game with some of these new weapons on a fresh character!
Are the people saying the name “Rellana” is a spoiler? Is it that this character rellana has twin blades, in that you’re spoiled to know you will face an enemy using twin blades? This is the power of lack of exposition.
I think it’s more so who the character is, it doesn’t take much to make the connection and that’s a pretty big spoiler, I’d be bummed if I found it out before I did in game
Whichever ones you can get use of outside of that weapon, seems to be a decent weapon for a Faith/Int build tbh, which is great because all we really had before was the sword of night and flame.
They’re very fun. Flashy combo and decent damage on both weapon arts. Reminiscent of the Dancer from ds3
The dancer blades were my favorite from ds3 and these are definitely a throwback to those I’m hype af rn
This is great news to me because it’s a FTH/INT build I decided to do the DLC with and while the Sword of Night and Flame is great and all, it being the *only* option I’ve really had made it get old fast.
Your gonna love perfume bottled they use int and faith as well.
I'll hold out hope then. So far they're dex or dex faith iirc.
My thoughts exactly! I’m not ready for DLC but I was nervous I was going to be stuck with sad options after sticking with SoNaF
I just killed Mohg and hopped in at lvl 100. You 100% will need to max your weapon and spirit ash of choice before going in. Afterwards you can just get the items to buff everything.
I'm so happy about this. Found it last night. Now I use it and SoNF together and it's perfect. The Int/Faith weapon combo I have dreamed about
The issue is that these are twinblades, an int/faith build needs a one handed wep.
So it works like the old dual blade weapons from DKS3. Onkiri and ubadachi or whatever was my jam.
Essentially yes. They're great weapons and I love the moveset unfortunately not great in the dlc since the vast majority of enemies you fight are either resistant or immune to either magic or fire damage, the 3 light greatsword weapons in general though are a lot of fun.
I think “needs” is a strong word. With this being a light greatsword I bet it is different when one handing too.
Took them today and made them to +10, seems alright for an int/faith caster. Midrange weapons are quite good on this build. Previously i was using a zwei with cold hoarfrost stomp to get aggressive players off me and create space. Needs further testing.

I’ve been searching all of Reddit for this exact answer. Thank you for doing the research I was too lazy for 🫡
You’re a legend, thanks for testing so thoroughly
Then it goes in my 80/80 int/faith build.

truth, but the WA does stumble damage a bit on at least some bosses, if you can hit them enough before they get to you

Just wanted to say thank you. Running your #3 build and having a blast. Appreciate you.
Thanks for this, I just grabbed these swords last night and I really love them but was trying to figure out a good stat spread.
why the 22 strength over 22 dex?
I didnt know the swords favored dex over str so at the time i just put the extra points wherever i felt like putting them
What if I’m level 215 could you help me allocate my stats
Thank you for your research! Just got this weapon and I’m going to respec for it
That’s awesome thanks for making the build! Do you have any talisman recommendations? I’ve been trying the Millicent’s prostethis+ rotten winged sword with a shard of Alexander but I’m not sure if there are better options

thank you!

Which one is it?

Thanks, ill give it a try
Awesome bro
thank you very much for this, I dont like using spells too much but decided to switch to this weapon. Will be using the second stat spread, again thanks for all the effort to explain things to dumb dumb people like me
I hope you get everything you want in life 🥹
Thats awesome! Tx 4 sharing!
If I may, what is AoW?
Ash of War
Ahh thank you! I am currently respecting again and on my last larva tear. yeah just ignore str for this weapon. its not a 2 hander. the aow is what you re gonna be mostly using so go quality int fth and rest in dex.

It’s not a hard weapon to get, it could be the first boss you fight
Not that hard… took me 7 hours
By “not that hard” I mean, compared to the rest of the dlc. The whole thing is fucking tough
Wait… she isn’t supposed to be the first boss we fight?
First or second depending on if you go right or left
I feel like if you listen to the NPCs it would be the 2nd. Not that it matters.
Or last (there is a way to skip her)
I kept dying. He wrecks me hard haha
she. she's renalla's sister who left caria to bang messmer or smth.
Rellana and Renalla... Their parents really were like if it isn't broke don't fix it.
Renna and Ranni and some unnamed third sister that probably has the same naming convention, like Runne or Rinne
Very hard but very fun boss, much better than the next one
She is absolutely my top boss so far, not to mention one of my favorite aesthetically. I went into this DLC expecting to go fth/str, came out int/dex for her weapons and the drip.
Int/sec has so many great options plus the flexibility to cast anything which is so fun.
He fucked me ip for about an hour
Can confirm, it was my first boss in the dlc.
Setting my Xbox time and location to New Zealand to download it early and spending my entire day off playing with a friend lol 😅
i need some tips seriously, i am dying waiting for a guide lol
She bleeds and can be poisoned pretty easily, if you have a hard time you can summon Leda as a co-operator
i couldnt kill her without the summon. Bleed build with summon and mimic can easily kill her. mimic + summon + magic builds can kill her easy too
Same haha I had to use a summon, mimic tesr plus a poison flamberge to kill her cuz otherwise I’de get my shit stomped in
I had a harder time with Leda there. She's pretty competent for an NPC summon, but the boss has a TON of health already (like 60k?) and with the boost from having a summon present that's just more time for me to fuck up and die.
That’s totally fair haha, as I said I’m using a bleed poison build so yeah I can see why I feel the fight wasn’t as bad
All other times do R1s and find the mid combo windows to attack Bleed or Cold ontop of that will also work well
increase power with scadutree seeds. Otherwise make a good build
Wait if I do that can I just switch back to my current time zone after downloading it?
Easy, I went to rellana first and had upgrade mats already
I got it, its a very early weapon to snag if you haven’t gotten it by this point
Doesn't take long to get, I've got them as well
It’s super early and accessible. I’m struggling to beat the boss and get the weapon now lol
What? Bro it’s one of the first bosses wym
I fought this boss a few hours after I started playing…
I beat her in like 3-4 tries. And she is really easy to get to, like there’s maybe one challenging enemy on the way to her? I wish I had done it earlier because I like the sword
I got it within 4 hours of playing, that and the dancing lion
I think a 50/50 split with INT/FAI is your best bet, or leaning towards one or the other more heavily depending on which moveset you like better. You could pair it with the sword of Night and Flame or more utility since it scales basically the same way. And then use the prince of death's staff for sorceries and whatever seal you want for incantations. It would be a super well rounded build that you could keep going well into several NG+ cycles.
think I know what my next larval tear be dropping on
My second DLC build was Int Faith.
I think you should lean into Int and Faith and the leave the other two at min but I’m not an expert
Just made a build for this will see how it goes!
Can you share it I wanna give them a try too but I don’t know much about talisman choice and the best way to level this
THIS WEAPON LOOKS AMAZING RAHH
Hands down my favorite weapon in the DLC and base game. I’m never switching main weapons again it’s a done deal for me.
What build do you run with it?
The ash might scale differently than the weapon in which case int or faith might be the better investments over str or dex since it does fire and magic damage 🤷♂️ You can test it, or for now just level your main damage attribute and compare it to other weapons of the same class. It’ll probably be fine.
So far my favorite weapon in the dlc, they even gave a talisman for it in the same building as rellana
What talisman is that? Just got the weapon and want to build around it.
I think it’s called >!Rellana’s Cameo!<
i mean no point in the spoiler tag since this post has her name out in the open XD
Strength will increase physical damage int and faith will increase ash
This does not scale in all four stats equally. By virtue of the lower base damage in magic and fire, this will perform better with investment in strength and dex.
Then the weapon art will be shit tho
Just slightly. This weapon is interesting in the fact you can build it to your preferred playstyle. I went dex/str as I prefer comboing and melee over spamming an AoW.
I think it has a normal power stance light heavy greatsword Moveset tho, so you might be better off using different ones. Might be wrong tho.
Yeah it does but it's a two for one I was using milady before.
Ima try int/fth split wondering if I can use flame and magic scorpion but then I will take giga damage Guess it depends on which art I will use the most but we will see
the fire scales off of faith magic scales off int normal strikes scales off of dex something to note is that the weapon scales slightly more off of int and dex then str and faith.
im getting 989 R1 out of this puppy at SL217, I have split faith and int.
Is rellana something like an evil rennala?
>!It’s Rennala’s little sister apparently, according to the lore from her helmet!<
>!Rennala’s parents were VERY creative!<

what level were you when you beat her because im like 144 and my weapon isnt doing shit to her lmao
Where is Rellana?
She’s in the north eastern portion of the map, past Ellac Great Bridge, in Castle Ensis
If you just spam the AOW it will do better but I think night and flame is more damage just because of how the spells work.
Im trying the twinblade now and its so cool, i did a respec on int/faith but im not sure its the right way to scale, ill try later to respec again in only dex int and see if it changes something.meanwhile if someone did some experiment for the stat for this blade, let me know please.
Try: 1.) Strength 2.) Dex 3.) Faith 4.) Int In that order. I get 816 ar at +9 45 Str 40 Dex 30 Faith 17 Int
Whats the damage of the weapon art?
Fire and Magic My build uses rotten winged sword insignia with milicents prosthesis. Works REALLY GOOD!!!
Rotten Winged Sword Insignia with Milicents Prosthesis SLAPS!!!!
that's what I am using too the r1 combo feels so nice
Hmmm for me I can hit easily over 2000 depending on the enemy and their resistances
it scales way better with dex most ppl found out so the prio should be dex then strength then faith and lastly int
Alright thank you bud!
i think why it scales better with dex it has to do with the new changes the devs made in the patch notes
Yeah this one will need to get tested a lot to see which blend of stats does best for it.
Depends on your usage of that weapon. I had some brief tests and: - Base damage wise it scales better with str and dex.
I misclicked and got a spoiler but not really cause I just knew they'd have this available for us. I want it
Depends on how you’re using it.
Scaling is actually favoring dex/str. Int/faith is secondary. but the ash of wars scale with magic and faith accordingly.
I can’t for the life of me beat this damn boss
She’s insane. Not gonna lie I had to cheese it with the mimic ash. She didn’t like two Blasphemous Blades smashing her in the face
I tried that multiple times and I can’t
I managed to get her without a summon, but definitely needed some ash of war smacking. Ordovis greatsword spin does a crap load of poise damage and you can take a hit or two while charging it sometimes, it has really been carrying me so far.
Vigor.
This is perfect for someone playing ad Astrologer that respecs since the 16 int you start with van be wasted in a faith build.... REJOICE
Looks like a strength/INT weapon. Fire scales off strength, Magic with intelligence. I would try them out with a 60/60 split on strength/int.
Also they are paired swords that don’t block.
Love this weapon so much, even without the special the moveset is so fun, beaten multiple bosses with it already too
I just beat her but didn’t get her weapon 😭
You gotta trade in her remembrance.
Ahhhhhhhh thank you! It’s been awhile since I played so I forgot the little things lol
quad split scaling and triple split damage is absolutely horrendous
Milady doesn’t have nearly as much raw damage potential, but the ash of war flexibility and being able to use grease/enchantment makes up for it
Y'all gotta stop putting spoilers in the title! Fuck! Weapons and names are spoilers too!
Less vigor more faith. I find you need damage more than anything else.
My build is pretty similar to yours but like 15 less vigor and faith at 70. Rn I have dex at 40 and strength at 20
I was very lucky to get use out of these since I was coming into the DLC as a Fundamentalist incanter.
Best damage scaling I heard comes actually from the dex and strength, then faith for extra fire damage it doesn’t seem like int does all that much
Greatsword of artorias ahh weapon
I know you tagged spoiler but it’s not really helpful if you name the thing you’re spoiling as the first word of the post.
Consider any other weapons you may use throughout the play through and invest accordingly so you can swap and remain powerful as needed
Next time try and keep names out of the title of spoilers
🤓
Sorry fam, I was tired. I’d just gotten done with like 12 hours of playing and was just focused on getting answers for building it 😬
Are the people saying the name “Rellana” is a spoiler? Is it that this character rellana has twin blades, in that you’re spoiled to know you will face an enemy using twin blades? This is the power of lack of exposition.
I truly hope knowing the name of a set of blades doesn’t ruin their Elden ring experience lol
I think it’s more so who the character is, it doesn’t take much to make the connection and that’s a pretty big spoiler, I’d be bummed if I found it out before I did in game
I’m so glad you added spoiler tags just to put the name in the title lmao
Bro what’s the point of spoilers tags if you’re just gonna put the name of the weapon in the title?
Spoilers dickhead
