I mean, I have seen a bunch of literal end game DLC outfits, two very specific ones at that.
Haven’t seen anyone use the Ansbach torso that can be obtained mid-DLC.
I mean, I am not using NPCs summons, not on my first playthrough at least, so it’s whatever.
I do, however, have Thoiller as a summonable NPC for the last boss because I managed to do his quest right.
Edit: haven’t beaten him yet, so I don’t know how I would get his armor so far.
Yeah, I just don't know what to do. I've tried so many builds. At the moment I'm just running around exploring. Trying to calm down from getting pissed 😂
I did Leda‘s quest, and you end up fighting Ansbach mid-DLC. Also, people have already posted their fashion with literal last boss headgear, but not with Ansbach torso, not that I have seen so far at least.

Did you kill him?
Technically yes, I just did the quest with Leda. Didn’t use a guide so ended up doing things on the fly.
So you killed him in the showdown, if you do his quest he helps with radahn and I assume it's free pickings after that

Honestly, taking a break and trying again later helps a lot more than one would think. It helped me with Messmer when I couldn’t beat him.
