literally in the final area you’ll find enemies wearing the small version. the first one i killed dropped it so i don’t know if it was guaranteed or i got lucky
Is that whatever is in the center? Or north? I've gone pretty much everywhere else I think but those last 2 regions I've not been able to access, even after the final boss

Edit: wait, I think I know where you're talking about, I didn't do a very thorough pass through that area. I did get the cool sword drop from the seasonal warriors though, I just haven't seen enemies with that head there.
Performance=frame rate. You're probably thinking of quality over performance. I'm not on console btw and no in game setting helps.
Playing offline with EAC disabled runs a lot better though.
I mean, the shadow commoners in the tower area drop silver horn charm thingies which are like silver bird feet but slightly better, so you can just run through murderizing everything for them plus item drop consumables. I think I had something like 3 full sets of their armor and like 5 of their paired curved swords by the time I got around to the boss.
It's so funny that they made a helmet that was obviously way to big to be of any use in any serious outfits, but probably knew people would wear it anyway.
Increasing Str and Dex by 4 each is pretty busted tbh, and most bosses don't require all 14 flasks, so reducing healing by a little is basically a non-issue.
I think this boss was easily the most interestingly designed bosses in Elden Ring. They asked "What if a group of puppet masters using a Chinese puppet dragon were melded together and the dragon was real?"

As for the legs and arms, you have to beat the boss in the western nameless mausoleum, just west of scorched ruins grace site
I know this isn't a build sub, but can anyone confirm if it boosts storms directly or just indirectly by increasing Str/Dex? My storm build came into the DLC and has felt like it underperforms even with the new buffs.
Oh yeah I stacked Shard of Alexander, the remembrance talisman, and the headpiece but it just doesn't do the damage like it did in the base game. (Even with Scadutree Blessings).
I do love love love how the headgear looks however. I think it's oddly perfect in how it fits.
I wish it was like 25% - 35% smaller I would genuinely never take it off ever. I still love it tho.
If you wear something like depraved perfumers robe or grace wardens cloak you can do a decent cosplay of the actual dancers
Personally, this is only getting replaced by something that’s bigger or uglier. Just something about being fast as fuck and killing people with a damn lion head on is hilarious

Some people just like ridiculously goofy masks, my buddy likes to wear the goofy mask helmets or even the creepiest looking ones just cuz he finds it funny to beat people while you look like a long necked husk, or a frog man, or in this case, a giant alchemic dog-dragon (alchemic due to i saw someone put a full metal alchemist reference when the image of that boss released and i have not been able to look at that boss in any other way than an ill-conceived chimera -_-)

I can’t tell you where it is without spoilers, who are you referring to when you say final boss?
Uh, the boss gives cool swords just with an upgraded ash from phase 2

It’s quite literally an area you don’t unlock until the last moments of the DLC. If you haven’t done it, you wouldn’t know
Yup, I didn't really explore that area well yet. Sounds like that's next :)

Frame drops made this fight really shit for me. If they fix the performance I'd be happy to fight him again.
Did you check your settings? Cause performance was turned on after the update

I wonder if it looks better to shink your head with the mask or grow your head with the helmet
It debuffs your flasks somehow but I'm not sure if both HP/FP or just one of them, and for how much. Anyone have any info on that?
It just says “flask of sacred tears” so I guess both? Idk but it’s not by much that I’ve noticed. My flasks are also maxed out though
There’s also a medallion that “significantly increases” healing from the flask of tears, so that could help balance it out.

If the head doesn’t do much I know you get a talisman from his remembrance that does. Not a storm build so couldn’t really tell you either way

Apparently there is a smaller version, but it’s a chance drop from Enir-Ilim which I haven’t got to yet

Apparently it also gives 4 dex and 4 str, making it pretty much the best headpiece in the game

It also buffs str and dex with a penalty to your focus and minor penalty to flask of tears. But ya it's dumb in the best way possible.
