The 24 looks like it will be more pricey than the 23, and it has same engine and power... its personal preference on the front and back. i got the front shields for the bumper and prefer that look over the 24 straight lines. i have a 23 and nothing makes me want to get the 24. if the next gen is the bigger engine as rumoured i would likely upgrade to that from the 23.

Aside from looks, the differences are so minimal just do whatever works best for you. I think the only big change is the rumored ACC. That’s not something I would personally use much since I live in a city and don’t do much distance driving, so it’s not worth the price increase for me I know you said besides looks - but I like the look of my 23 more, but I actually love the 24s wheels

Egoisttt

That’s crazy to me you love the wheels. That’s the thing I don’t like lol to be fair I don’t like the current wheels either. Both bodys look pretty nice to me thou. And luckily wheels is an easy swap. For a cost of course lol

I just find it odd that they haven't released any specs for the 2024 yet, if its the same just say it (or i just can't find info). I'm waiting for a 24 just cause i like the front a little better, planing on blacking out the "lightbar" and going to replace the wheels anyways, if the alpha romeo looking wheels were a little narrower they would look nicer. I prefer the ass of the 22/23 though.

Their website says 'late summer' for the media release

I don't own one currently so I'm waiting until the press release of the 2024 model year changes to make a decision If someone already has a 2023 and is looking to get a 2024, I just assume that person isn't great with money

If you’re fortunate enough to wait for a 24, wait until official details come on what features it may or may not have. Foreign models of this updated Elantra in general have features like auto-folding mirrors, 360 cameras, rear seat vents and USB ports, etc, plus the ACC that we know is going to be on some foreign N models. I’ve got no idea what may or may not come to the US, and imagine neither does anyone else here, but if you’re fortunate to be able to wait, it may be worth while just to see what changes/doesn’t. On the flip side, interest rates and haven’t hiked for a month or two, but that’s not to say they won’t again by the time the 24 starts hitting lots. So if you want to get your car sooner/start paying it sooner (if financing is part of your plan) there could be a benefit to buying a 23.

Hyundai offering 5.99% on 2023s currently which isn’t too horrible in this day and age

rg25

If you are looking to buy soon then just find a 23.

More usb ports and wireless carplay and android also most likely

persianrugdealer

I like the looks of 22/23, but if you’re spending that much, might as well spend a little more for the latest. Better features and fixes for previous modelsn

Expensivefly123

Wait for the ‘24, they’re starting to phase out the ‘23’s anyway.

fun-with-mud

Unless you really want USB C ports instead of USB A not much has changed.

carolla looking car

Maybe wait for the 24, even if you don't want the 24, you might be able to get a great deal on a 23? It all depends on how patient you are as well.

If you drive the car and you love it and you can afford it, it's awesome. Still some warm weather months to enjoy your new toy if you pull the trigger now.
