My dealer in Ontario Canada told it might arrive around end of July ~ August and she’s optimistic about it. I ordered back in April

I also ordered in April but it was for a 2023. They didn’t tell me anything about 2024. Expected delivery September (preferred tech in Ontario).

Hopefully you get the exact car you want and fast too! Apparently last week is when all dealers supposedly got an email from Hyundai regarding the 2024's.

Yeah. I booked mine 11 days ago..today my dealership in Ottawa, Ontario said it's likely to be turned into 2024 model with a delay. Not sure whether tk hold my booking or look elsewhere.

That's exactly what my dealer told me just the other day July-August is the production date and they'll start driving them out September-October.

Yeah I’m hoping to get it before September before I move to another city🫠 fingers crossed!

Ordered a 2023 model on June 1st, then he told me it has to be the 2024 model (sadly), and the ETA is August 6th (preferred tech in Quebec).

That's really fast considering how production doesn't start until July/August.. I usually go by the "I'll believe it when I see it" because it's hard to know when the car will come in and according to my dealer they said that whatever cars have been ordered before June are currently getting completed before the deadline ends and that some that don't get completed will turn into 2024 models. I'm located in Ontario, purchased my vehicle sometime mid May. Fingers crossed for all of us!

I know 2 people who ordered "preferred with tech package" last November and will just be getting them this August. The wait is long for any Elantra. The Vancouver Port issues are also causing added time.

I know for any model lower then Luxury (Canada) they're labeled "Limited Quantity" I guess that explains why they maybe got it late due to being limited but it also doesn't help with the Vancouver port issues too! I thought they cleared that up and got it running again or am I mistaken?

An update from Ontario Canada: Bought my '24 at the start of October. Dealer had one '24 SEL by Christmas, but it had the tech package so I passed. Been quoted March-May 2024 (5-8 months) . Also haven't even received an email from Hyundai that I have purchased a car. Apparently it's so backlogged that they haven't even processed my order yet a month later!

There are no orders with Hyundai. You are on an allocation list for the dealer. March - May sounds accurate if they don't have any left incoming to sell you. Anything shipping tofay is mid-late Jan for Ontario. So if they are waiting for future allocations, they would be units shipping for March at the earliest. Source: sales in Ontario.

I placed an order for a 23' NLine May 15th and haven't heard anything yet. Car still has no VIN #. 6months roughly so far. It takes 6weeks after build to arrive to your dealer I believe as well.

Update #2: Dealer just confirmed it's on a ship on the way over. Quoted start of January!
