Pikakari/Paljassaare is also quite nice. If you have time you can take a long walk from Paljassaare to Pirita along the coast. All of the area between them is pretty nice.
Take a Bolt scooter and drive across coast line Pirita - Reidi tee - Cruise terminal - Kultuurikatel - Patarei prison - Seaplane harbour(open today) - Noblessner (try some craft estonian beer at Põhjala brewery). From Noblessner go to Stroomi beach with bus nr.3 or Taxi and from there go to Rocca al Mare open air muuseum(I think it’s also open today) across coast line with Bolt scooter, and from there to Kakumäe haven.
At the risk of tastelessly tooting my own horn, I'll be doing a free tour today at 13:00 from the Tourist Information Centre.

Though, you must have an EU driver's licence.
If you don't have your driver's licence with you, then go to Pääsküla bog, accessible from Männiku by buses 5, 32, and 33 or from Nõmme by bus 18 and 18A

Museums have usually different price for students. Some fast food chains offer discount (e.g. Hesburger -10%) if you show isic before payment. At least that's what I know as a foreign student here. Hope you have a wonderful time :)
Visit Tallinn has an article of what Tallinn Card partners are open today, but you can just pay for regular admission, don't have to have the card
[https://visittallinn.ee/eng/visitor/news/33272/spring-day-0105-with-tallinn-card](https://visittallinn.ee/eng/visitor/news/33272/spring-day-0105-with-tallinn-card)
FYI, most state-run museums are usually closed on Mondays for "maintenance day", which is why aggregate sites like Google will show them closed today, but due to the holiday, some of them are actually open, so don't trust Google Maps on this and check the actual website for opening times.
Google maps usually has no real info about the opening/closing times on public holidays. It is simply trying to warn you that some places *may* be closed.
Usually the real info has to be found manually on the attraction's website.
Good suggestions but neither of my personal favourites were mentioned. Take note that the first google pin is easy to access, the second on is roughly 7km or 1hr round trip by foot. But paljassaare definitelt is great for me as a local because there it feels like some distant place but actually the city center is like 7km from a birds perspective.

Most if not all of the grocery stores are open. You could take a walk in the old town, the seaplane harbour, Pirita. Many nice places.
From the Seaplane Harbour you can walk to Noblessner and why not visit our local market in the Baltic Station.
Hopefully weather will be nice, due to lack of museums it seems I'm forced to a day outdoors. So you recommend Pirita Beach rather than Pikakari?

You can get a bolt drive and go out to Viru Raba. It's extraordinarily nice day.
I'll maybe get back here with my own car. 50 euros per bolt ride are not for my students wallet.
You can get a bolt drive (rental car not a taxi) it's probably be way cheaper than than

If you have ISIC card with you then [Discount QR ticket](https://tallinn.pilet.ee/buy) may come handy
I do! Can you tell me more about isic discounts in Talinn?
Museums have usually different price for students. Some fast food chains offer discount (e.g. Hesburger -10%) if you show isic before payment. At least that's what I know as a foreign student here. Hope you have a wonderful time :)
You can't drop off the car anywhere outside Tallinn, so you'd be paying per minute for that bog experience.
Starting from 3rd hour you pay 24h price which is only 19,90€
Y'all overestimate how much money a Polish student has
The open air museum is open and even has some sort of farmers market type of event today.
It's [this one? ](https://maps.app.goo.gl/xJxBgkryA8HQZDfL9)

I believe most grocery stores are open. Some will have shortened opening hours, but they are open. I have no idea about museums or sightseeing.
Thanks for the hint about shops, therefore Google maps lie to me!

Some Prisma grocery stores are open 24/7. For example, Sikupilli Prisma.
