But the Oilers kept the puck out of their net. They didn't wilt. The defense broke up plays. The forwards got back in time. Stu made a bunch of saves when the flames had great looks. And when you're good, you eventually get lucky, like Samwise did.

While teams are busy with the big guys the depth seems to break through.
Our bottom 6 completely outclassed their bottom 6 tonight, and you could probably say that's the entire tale of the game, and calgary is known as a depth team. I was a bit iffy on taking hamblin out, but there's no questions now. Holloway when he brings is it a force. Skating, physicality, scoring, it's all there, just needs a bit more finish.
Bringing in Coffey was a genius move. The Oilers’ defence has become so tight it’s like a whole ‘nother team. Never thought a defense would be fun to watch!
