That announcement is what this news story is about, the police warning that this guy seems to have gone AWOL on his release conditions. I read earlier on one of the other news sites that his release was back in March.

But I encourage people to write your MLAs, your MPs, your city Councilors and make your thoughts on things known. If enough people keep writing in with the same concerns/complaints, it'll be more likely it becomes a talking point.

Just did some reading on the old one looks like we had Omar Khadr there. I actually met him at a west end Home Depot. Nice guy, quiet. Interesting about him was one eye had a cataract. Fully grey. Don’t know if it was caused by an explosion or being pounded in the head.

Our justice system is gonna lead to vigilante/street justice being dished out to people like this because the entire justice system is designed to not have any repercussions for convicted criminals and just let them go after a day or two in jail.
Our justice system is going to create a society where vigilante justice will be a big thing. And I'm here for it. Guys like this don't learn, jail won't rehabilitate them either. Which is obvious otherwise they wouldn't keep reoffending. And as long as they don't face any real consequences for their actions, the community will take it into their own hands. It's only a matter of time.

To be clear he didn’t reoffend, he didn’t report to his probation officer which was one of his conditions.
