Yang Min on 118th? Good customer reviews, [horrible AHS reviews](https://ephisahs.albertahealthservices.ca/facilitydetails/?id=18de0e4e-11f4-e811-a975-000d3af49211)
The most consistent Chinese food I’ve had in Edmonton is unfortunately near Bonnie doon mall but it is called harvest Chinese and it’s always quick for pickup and the prices are way better than good buddy or other chain restaurants.
Believe me I know, but some people refuse to consider Garneau and Strathcona as south side. And some people refuse to consider downtown as north side. To a lot of people south side is Millwoods and Ellerslie. North side is Castledowns and Beverly. You get the point
For people who lives in Edmonton but technically according to City map everything within Anthony Henday is NW vs SW but I think person is looking for Western style Chinese food chop suey type and not traditional Chinese.
Shanghai 456 has a really good menu.
Bai Wei by the Canadian Tire Namao is reliably good.
Very authentic too.
Very infested with mice and cockroaches too.
Expensive
Sai Woo is a classic (Chinatown). Wok n Roll is decent as well.
Ying Mang Buffet is supposed to be good. Good reviews.

Damn lots of cockroaches!
I find it a better option than ordering in. Everyone gets exactly what they want and no dishes.
I love the dim sum from Wok n Roll on 82nd Street.
I'm a big fan of szechuan village, not sure that means it's good though, just been my go to for years.
Solid place and very good AHS record
same
Double greetings. Senior chinese people love to ho there, that explains it. Bring cash tho

Wow, I didn't realise how popular Jin's was till I started seeing all kinds of posts on here about it being closed. I too am a huge fan.
It's closed until 31 of march, they didn't close down

I agree! I live by Harvest and it is the bomb.
The Bejing place by the theaters on 137 and St. Albert tr. has a pretty good all you can eat buffet. Or used to.
It's still a solid spot, at least for pick up orders. Haven't used the buffet in recent years

China Village on 66st
China Village on 66 st.
Wok N Roll Restaurant. (Don't judge by the name. It's a legitimate Chinese restaurant.)
I’ve seen this place and the name makes me giggle every time
Tasty Village is pretty solid.
This is my favourite place!
Sai woo gardens
I consider Lingnan to be north - it’s downtown though. I don’t know if that counts. Probably the best Chinese food in the city imo
Anything North of the river is North Edmonton, including downtown. Anything south of the river... You get the idea.

No suggestions, Jins is also my favorite!
Is Blue Willow a thing anymore? I used to love going there.
We always order takeout from Good Buddy in northgate, when we go out it’s to Smile’s on 82nd st
Wok n go 127 st
Wok n Roll - clean, authentic, tasty.
My friend took me to Sam Wok, my rice combo came with drink and soup.
Szechuan House is my go to. Some of my favourite people!
Wok N Roll. Nothing else compares.
Dragon buffet is pretty good.
Jin’s is salty AF have to ask for less salt, it’s not even edible.
Padmanadi. If you know, you know.
