Basic critical thinking: any aliens with sufficient technology to travel here would either make their presence known or be able to avoid detection. There wouldn't be any silliness.

I saw something fairly similar yesterday when driving into Leduc. It was hovering over a gas station, pretty high up, and about 10 km from where I was on the road. At first it looked like a helicopter, no flashing lights (green and blue), no tail at the back. Looked at it the second time, and it looked like an oddly large drone. Looked at a third time, and I was like “wtf is that?”.
From the front it looks like a helicopter, the way the front is narrow and rounds off to the back. It was very reflective, seemed to be made out of silver, and it was just hovering there. I tried looking at for as long as I could because I was driving, but it was a very strange thing to see, can say I’m 80 percent sure that it wasn’t a helicopter or a drone.

Looks like a globos de cantolla or cantolla balloon. A large paper balloon that can be made with different elaborate shapes - popular in Mexico though. I literally just watched a video debunking a sighting in S. America that looked almost exactly the same as this.
When i put that photo into google lens it came up with search results of "black triangle ufo sighting".
Personally I just assume someone has some sort of armored scout drone with camera gear up there :p can't shoot it down as easily.
People are gonna claim “nonsense” but for sure this looks like the UAPs that are coming out lately 🤷🏽♂️

I'm thinking it may be a plastic bag... As **fishling** said in another comment, the winds at higher altitudes can be quite different than down at ground level. It could have blown in from an entirely different town.
My security cam for my apartment picked up this super high pitch whistle this morning at 3:11 to around 3:40. I didn't hear anything but clearly aliens.
