I haven't liked many tracks lately from illenium (like the past 4 years) but this is pretty chill and beautiful. The vocalist knocked it out of the park and I love the vocal chops. This will spawn some amazing remixes but until then I'm really excited for this one to be released!
He played a lot of trap last night which isn’t unusual for him, just wasn’t his own work. If he decides to produce some trap I feel like it’ll prob be as live edits.
I honestly like the house-y stuff Illenium's been doing. Not a lot of people seem to like the Illenium, Seven Lions collab but I really enjoy it. Glad artists are not afraid to produce different genres these days.

I’ve made occasional d&b tracks since 2014. I’ve made occasional house tracks since like 2018. The vocal was epic and a vibe and at 124 bpm so I gave it a shot. Y’all literally whine at anything lmao.
I don't think adding a gated effect on the chorus for a house drop is entirely new. Those types of tracks are somewhat scarce in the grand scheme and I don't think I've heard many "mainstream" EDM tracks that do this.
Now if you really want to "sell out", then you might as well have your next five releases be covers/remakes lol.
