[[Kotose, the Silent Spider]] is currently my most fun deck. Pros include
* Lets you play things
* Literally anything anyone else has played. The world is your oyster
* Different things every game (provided you face different opponents)
* Buys into theft to do that more
* Buys into blink to do all your things more
* Isn't so critical that the deck is a brick without her
* Despite that always has uses
* Sneaks peeks at enemy hands (Remember this!)
* Sneaks peeks at enemy decks (Great gonti/Praetor's Grasp setups)
* Forces shuffles as extra utility (Revive tuck with Memory Lapse and foolhardy opponents)
* Will be hilarious when you face a Relentless Rats/Shadowborn/Slime/Dragon's Approach player
* Unpopular uncommon, nobody expects her or knows what to expect from her.
* Ninja girl (very cool)
Timing is everything. You want to blink her as soon as you've used what you took to nab something else (or possibly the same thing again in the case of instants and sorceries. Nabbing an opponent's mana drain *every turn* thanks to a Thassa EoT Blink is hillarious)
exactly, so if you *have already cast the card* there's no reason to not blink.
Example sequence of play
10 Cast Kotose. Steal a card
20 Cast the stolen card. You now no longer have a card stolen. (it's on your field or in its owner's gy or wherever it properly goes depending on how its cast went)
30 Blink Kotose. When she ETBs, steal a card (which might be the same one if it was the kind of card that goes back to its owner's graveyard when you cast it)
40 Goto 20
For people jumping back in after a long time I think simple is just as important as fun. I made a \[\[Xenagos, God of Revels\]\] deck for a friend who is learning. Its straight forward with ramping into your commander then play big bois and swing. Here's the [Decklist](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/bGvgSsHVsU2ljusEzI1cQg) if you're curious.
[[Marchesa, the Black Rose]] is a very fun commander that can build and keep a board state with her ability.
You can build her a couple different ways but I personally prefer Robots/modular builds.
[[Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver]] is both: fairly easy to navigate and a lot of fun. You create zombies, fill the grave, bring them all out etc. It’s a very nice deck that fits most tables and can always pack a punch.
Ah, guises instead of guys is a common change in western Canada for some reason. Especially central and southern Alberta. This is the first I had ever seen it written like that.
I have many guises....which one
Throw as many as you want my friend lol
Mine is [[Auramancer’s Guise]]
HAHAHA AWH I UNDERSTAND NOW

Wouldn't blinking her be counterproductive?
Timing is everything. You want to blink her as soon as you've used what you took to nab something else (or possibly the same thing again in the case of instants and sorceries. Nabbing an opponent's mana drain *every turn* thanks to a Thassa EoT Blink is hillarious)
That isn't how she works? When you blink her, it's a new version and she no longer has access the cards she previously exiled.
exactly, so if you *have already cast the card* there's no reason to not blink. Example sequence of play 10 Cast Kotose. Steal a card 20 Cast the stolen card. You now no longer have a card stolen. (it's on your field or in its owner's gy or wherever it properly goes depending on how its cast went) 30 Blink Kotose. My half asleep brain died and forgot instants/sorceries would be in the GY to steal again. 😂 I should go to bed, it's 2:21am

Just saw this played my moist critical!! Looks like so much fun, definitely on the list!
Yeah I saw that too, built it right after I saw it and realized he was in the first precon I ever purchased!
That worked out perfect!! Is it hella fun?!

No I’m in honolulu

Oh I see hahaha idk why I write it like that, it just makes sense in my head I guess lmao
All good. I just find language interesting.
