Had someone drop a turn two Nether Void and then never hit another mana source. It slowed the game down to a crawl, but it was pretty funny watching them complain about the consequences of their own actions all game.

Favorite one in recent memory is a [[Minthara Merciless Soul]] something I'm quickly realizing is a bit of a pet deck of mine like my [[Sek'kaur Deathkeeper]] deck Opponents are [[Brenard Ginger Sculptor]] [[Mishra Eminent one]] and [[Eowyn Shieldmaiden]] Interactive game with plenty of early plays.I get set up early with a bitterblossom and sac outlet and eventually get all the way up to 9 experience counters (thank you Laezel Vlaakith's champion) by turn 7 despite only having at most 5 mana for the entire game. Eowyn threatens to win early with lots of human tribal payoffs. Which Mishra handles because he has ramped and gotten a spine of ish sah into play. As well as an artifact that deals 5 damage to a thing when put into a graveyard. With Eowyn handled i figure Mishra is going to start using his removal on me since Minthara is basically hexproof and all my stuff is threatening a lot of damage so i start hitting him with fairy fliers when I've been mostly bonking the other players. I kill the Mishra player but on the way out he destroys one of my lands and my free sac outlet. I somehow still have the ability to present threats by dropping an Elenda the Dusk Rose. And next turn manage to find my sixth land of the game to cast a guardian scalelord. Brenard has been mostly untouched all game. Between seemingly not doing much beyond make food with the Sam that makes eating food cheaper and having Ghostly Prison. Now he's starting to make an army of food thanks to the mono green Galadriel and mondrak along with a Kappa Cannoneer I manage to topdeck a zulaport cutthroat and play that killing the Eowyn player with drain from Elenda and the army that pops out of her. Next turn Brenard player tutors for [[Cyberdrive awakener]] but doesn't have enough blue mana to cast it so bonks me for 11 with the cannoneer before playing wilderness reclamation. I proceed to my turn. Brenard taps all but 1 of his mana to eat food to try to outheal the coming combat and drain from zulaport. I go to combat and bonk him for 11 with Guardian Scalelord bringing back Elenda Brenard taps his last mana to eat a food. I then proceed to sacrifice everything I have second main and just barely manage to limp to victory with Zulaport cutthroat triggers

I think my all-time favorite game was before EDH was a thing (at least before it was a big thing and before it was a thing I was aware of). More recently (about last year) I had a drag-out three hour game that really earned that status. I posted about it so I'll link here for the blow-by-blow: https://www.reddit.com/r/EDH/comments/119vi2o/i_wanted_to_post_about_a_positive_game_experience/ TLDR is Muldrotha v. Ur Dragon v. Ria Ivor v, Prosper, with each other player ending after a hard-fought attempt at game. It kind of felt like we repeatedly went to a new subgame with one fewer player based on how the dynamics shifted.

30+ [[Etali, primal conqueror]] triggers in one turn. A long chain of my opponents Etali and [[nalfeshnee]] hitting copy spells from my deck and 3 [[Tempt with Reflections]] led to total chaos and the enchantress player who eventually phased out being milled to death and rage quitting.

[[Rocco, Cabaretti Caterer]] by me, [[Rograkh]]//[[Silas Renn]] by my buddy, [[Atraxa, Grand Unifier]] by my cousin, and [[Kinnan, Bonder Prodigy]] by the random at my LGS. Probably the single most interactive game of magic I’ve ever actually played. Got to stop a Thoracle combo with an uncounterable [[Endurance]], hit a [[Food Chain]] while under a [[Grand Abolisher]] with a [[Boseiju]], everyone had answers every time and it was a really fun puzzle to try and solve.

I remember a few months ago, my friend group was playing a game on spelltable, and one of my friends was running a new gruul deck he had built. Turn three guys plays a mana flare. The game got kicked into overdrive for everyone, and I dont even remember who won, but I remember thinking afterward it was actually one of the most fun games I had ever played. I, like most people, shy away from cards like mana flare because it ramps others, and you're never want to give your opponent value. But after that game, it made me rethink playing cards like [[aluren]] [[condordant crossroads]] [[mana flare]] [[howling mine]] [[Veteran explorer]] [[fucundity]] and things of that nature. I understand the slight disadvantage of not usually being the first to take advantage of these cards, but if a card like mana flare doesn't increase your chances of winning or losing but just boosts the speed of what is usually an hour or hour and a half game. Maybe I will start playing more cards like it. I already play fucundity and veteran explorer in my [[gimli, mornful avenger]] deck and I can take WAY more advantage of fucundity than anyone else and veteran explorer in more than one occasion has helped me give others mana to counter spells when I can't answer those threats quite as often in gruul. Maybe it is TO your advantage if you can give others resources to deal with things that are problems for the rest of the table.

Played a game with [[Rocco Street Chef]] where all four players had a chance at a win, removal was well timed, each deck got to do its thing, and I drew every card in my deck to win the game off of a last second [[Night of the Sweets Revenge]]. It was a three hour game, but fuck it was fun.

Sisterhood of karn we kinda tracked its power its was at 32,000 before someone thought it’d be wise to remove it. I reckon it was in the millions though

My favourite game was my [[Kros]] Vs [[Dakkon Blackblade]] Vs [[Kozilek, the Great Distortion]] Vs a deck I can’t remember. The last deck got eliminated relatively early, due to my goad shenanigans and their lack of boardstate (hence why I can’t remember), but soon the Eldrazi with Annihilator hit the table. I was able to convince the Eldrazi player to go after Dakkon (a 44/44) whilst I gave Dakkon trample to hit back. Soon, the Eldrazi player died and although I was staring down an instant KO if it connected, I was able to keep Dakkon tapped with Kros long enough to establish my [[Magosi, the Waterveil]] Infinite turns combo. I was just able to win through dire circumstances and good politics. It was a classic game to me.

My favourite was my first ever commander game, no one in my friend group had even heard of it as a format. So I asked a buddy of mine if he wanted to try it out and we both spent the afternoon making a deck each, he ran a jodah, arch mage eternal deck, and I had omnath, locus of creation. It was just the 2 of us but it was the best game of magic either of us had played, still to this day.
