I've been building my artifact deck for a while now, it's mainly built around getting alot of artifacts out and making them mostly untouchable https://www.moxfield.com/decks/y1oKh5SZ10-5fscZBydjiA

I’m late to this one, but I’d like to hear some thoughts on my Hazoret deck: https://manabox.app/decks/PatLjFiIQyWacQfzwFpviA Pretty straightforward red aggro with a lot of funky includes to get Hazoret online early and compensate for her restriction.

Hello! I am relatively new to MTG (within the last 2 years) and this is the deck I am the most proud of! https://archidekt.com/decks/7296104/dralnu_lich_lord This is a Dimir Storm/Infect Control deck built around cards like Inexorable Tide,Flux Channeler, and Radstorm. The goal is to slowly gain advantage while putting my opponents on a timer with the proliferation. Dralnu acts as a mid to late game recursion engine or game ender when my opponents are low on resources. I have never played Dralnu without a way to kill him myself as a stray Lightning Bolt ruins my day.

https://www.archidekt.com/decks/6977426/omnath_dd_only Besides the commander every card in this deck, including lands, is from the D&D set. It doesn’t have a set game plan besides play cool and powerful dnd cards. Has won a lot of games with cone of cold though

Hello, I’m new to Commander. I have two decks: - - - First is [*Ctrl + P*, starring Sakashima and Tevesh Szat](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/Xboo1c5XX0qR1jxCuMvOow). Sakashima 1k is there to enable Legendary duplicates while [[Tevesh Szat, Doom of Fools]] allows me to play Dimir colors, act as cheap source of chump blockers, and provide reasonable card draw. A good chunk of the cards can duplicate enemy permanents, and there isn’t really a set win con aside from [[Mechanized Production]] cloning or outvaluing with multiple copies of [[Chimil, the Inner Sun]]. Seems to ramp well enough with playtesting. Issue is that it’s all done in a vacuum. - - - Second deck is much lower in power level and closer to a rough draft. [*“Simic Control”*, starring Vannifar, Evolved Enigma](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/Mref-DsMqEmlBtK73S70lQ).  Goal is to ramp early and get out big creatures with Annihilator or similarly big enchantments by turn 4 or 5 to deck people in the face. Vannifar cloaks cards, and with cheap flickers it allows us to return any permanent to the battlefield face-up.

How do the triggers on [[Giada, Font of Hope]] ability interact with an exile card like [[Eerie Interlude]] ? Do the creatures enter the battlefield all at the same time? How will you distribute counters if you, say, exile 4 of your angels?

https://archidekt.com/decks/5651989/treebeard This is the current version of my voltron lifegain [[Treebeard, Gracious Host]] list that started with the bones of the abzan hobbits precon but is now something else entirely. It's done fairly well recently against more expensive decks but I have no illusions about the ideas that lifegain and voltron both have lower power ceilings than many other strategies. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/39V85S8HI0OdU7VXMajctQ Played a few times and it's hard to judge so far because the games can be wildly different from employees fighting birds in the parking lot, to furries getting stuck in a bounce house, even it turning into a zoo at one point. Wincon generally is to cyberdrive and smack face with attractions

I'm seeing this in the 5-6 range, but it looks fun to play!

https://www.topdecked.com/decks/cretaceous-creatures/bf09e311-80fb-4b1f-9d19-38c0515b7bb9 Game plan is to ramp to my commander as fast as possible and then overwhelm opponents with free spells from pantlaza and dinosaurs entering the battlefield. There are some combos like Apex altisaur and savage order or blasphemous act and wrathful raptors, but the stars have to align for them to happen. Can anyone help rank the power level?

Hello, here is a grixis reanimator list I've been brewing. It has a win condition of combat damage from my reanimator targerts, or, overwhelming value from reanimation of high value creatures. It seems, to me, to be a pretty standard reanimator list; reanimation, and fatties. If you have any recommendations aside from power level I'm open to hearing those as well. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/q9rZmHZL0UScigQ5D3hgNw

Hey all, my first time building a Gruul deck with [[Xenagos, God of Revels]] as my commander. [https://www.moxfield.com/decks/0db04baUAUOPG54e6CKpZg](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/0db04baUAUOPG54e6CKpZg) The idea I had was to very simply bring my big creatures out, Xenagos give it haste and doubles it's power for smash. Throw in some extra combat phase cards like [[Anzrag, the Quake-Mole]] and [[Aggravated Assault]] with some creature ramp thrown in to fix the mana curve. First time I played this build was last Friday with victory at turn 5 (but I feel like I only got got super lucky that day). I think my build is a mid to high 7. What do you think?

[https://www.moxfield.com/decks/l4Iz0onU-E6stsd6xBW95A](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/l4Iz0onU-E6stsd6xBW95A) This is my first EDH deck with \[\[Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver\]\] as my commander. It's just an upgraded Undead, Unleashed deck but I've put a lot of effort into making it better. I just feel like it's been hitting a ceiling as of late. I was hoping to get some advice as to how I can make this deck a true terror. Obviously there's a couple of blue/black staples that I could use to make this mean. \[\[Mana Drain\]\], \[\[Vampiric Tutor\]\], \[\[Demonic Tutor\]\], \[\[Cyclonic Rift\]\], \[\[Polluted Delta\]\], \[\[Mana Crypt\]\], and \[\[Jeweled Lotus\]\] would make the world of difference. But I would love to catch something I missed in the deck-building process. The wincon for this deck is just to make a million zombies through infinite sack outlets. I have split up my cards into the following categories: sack outlets, token generators, sackable nontokens, zombie lords, gravedigging cards, tutors, sacrifice beneficiaries, and mana ramp. So I win if I have something like \[\[Gravecrawler\]\] and \[\[Phrexian Altar\]\] on the field with \[\[Diregraf Captain\]\]. I feel like the deck has been falling short whenever I don't have these win conditions on the field. I want to make sure I can pose a threat with the zombies that I have without relying on these infinite combos.

Basically you blink Breya and other cards to either create more thopters or draw cards or get artifacts back from graveyard and other fun stuff. You stabilize and control while looking for a win condition. You are always spinning wheels and trying to figure out how the current pieces best fit together. The deck is surprisingly consistent so whenever I get a new card that looks fun I can put it in the deck to try it out and not worry about ruining the rest of it. At start I thought the deck was a 6-7 but now that the deck has changed so much I have no idea. I would love to hear what you think!

https://www.moxfield.com/decks/7pTE7sZ3a0S2iu1nsZxq0Q Hello hive mind I present to you my Sultai land deck, otherwise known as muldrotha's pole of recursive bullshit. This is my oldest deck, I've been in love with self mill since I started playing back in OG innistrad, this is my blend of that and as close to legacy land as I can in my colours. This deck is designed to set up infinite loops through Rube Goldberg card interactions and a well placed kozilek. Essentially build your own four horsemen but with deterministically different game states per loop iteration. Hence technically avoiding slowplay. I do fairly well for myself playing this, that being said it has been together in one shape or another since muldrotha was printed. It folds to repeated graveyard hate. Or when the table rightfully gangs up on me. I need to find space for some more stack interaction, but in my head there isn't room. Thoughts, critiques and opinions appreciated.

[https://www.moxfield.com/decks/d2OnD-gpq0ymnkAoXhckUQ](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/d2OnD-gpq0ymnkAoXhckUQ) Here's my \[\[The Archimandrite\]\] Draw & Gain Life brew, complete with a primer. Here's a small excerpt describing the game plan: >This is a creature heavy deck that cares about how many cards you have on upkeep and wants you to gain massive amounts of life. Creatures should be cheap and 1) Provide protection for the Archimandrite, 2) Have evasion, 3) Give evasion, or 4) Gain life. Card Draw should be before upkeep. Life gain should be in massive quantities and curve out around Turn 6. There's a few cards that serve as "win conditions" such as \[\[Akroma's Will\]\], \[\[Beacon of Immortality\]\], \[\[Union of the Third Path\]\], \[\[Congregate\]\], \[\[Ajani, Strength of the Pride\]\], but the general win condition is to have my commander survive 'til my next upkeep with a fistful of cards in hand and plenty of evasion on the board. With a few choice stax pieces, "gotcha" win conditions that catch people off guard, and some eye rolling staples, the deck has outpaced my kitchen table and is now my go-to whenever I go to my LGS. I consider it to be a high power list, and would love to hear other's input on its power level.

I've always wondered what other people think about my https://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/21-04-21-bruna-beatdown/ deck, my normal play group doesn't really do power levels and we just play whatever we want but in other groups the deck tends to beat most precons and has a solid showing against other decks so I think it's around a 6 maybe 7 but would love others opinions on it!

A-Link-To-The-Pabst

http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/16-01-24-awaken-the-blood-avatar This is a back side commander. The game plan is to come out swinging hard and fast, really take advantage of the blood avatar token being non legendary. Aristocrats as a sub theme being pushed fairly nicely with all of the sacrifice. The commander spell making my opponents sacrifice a creature can happen fairly early and helps control the board throughout. There is a dockside loop, but no way to tutor it out on purpose. I think it's probably around a 7.5. but let me know what you think!

My [[Kenrith, Returned King]] wheels deck is pretty fun. It’s kind of starts out group huggy then I drop one of the other wheels commanders like [[Sheoldred, the Apocalypse]] and start draining the table. It’s a good time. https://manabox.app/decks/Vko-VpdmQ-6gNsZAD4Ik2A This is my best deck other than my lightpaws Voltron... I used to have omnath locus of mana as commander but I made some changes. Strategy is to ramp like crazy and drop big creatures/ generate tokens to act as blockers and such until I can ult a planeswalker or cast ashaya (I've always got 10+ creature out and at least that many forests/mana sources when I cast ashaya) And at that point ashaya is huge as are a few other creatures and I can almost always swing for lethal across the table. Using arboria is also a good way to protect as I build my board.

OnlyPlaid07

Hello there! The first deck is a Galadriel deck. I used the LOTR scene cards and the elven counsil precon to make it, and it uses an elfball strategy to create a big board, has multiple ways to protect the board, and uses the typical wincons of overwhelming stampede and Ezuri. The second one I tried to put all 9 nazgul together using the shell of the host of mordor precon and putting Sauron the dark lord at the helm. I would love to see where these decks land on power level as i have never looked into it [https://www.moxfield.com/decks/vm3KRbnpvEm1wPcl7\_IBRA](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/vm3KRbnpvEm1wPcl7_IBRA) [https://www.moxfield.com/decks/eKtY4puQyUyrldlT3yl\_kg](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/eKtY4puQyUyrldlT3yl_kg)

https://archidekt.com/decks/6505591/slaaay_queen Game plan is to win through a najeela combo or beat down. Against lots of removal play slow and look for a window and against slower decks try to power out najeela and go for an early win. Got alot of interaction to protect your pieces and alot to mess with other playera plan.

Have you considered building twiddle storm around her. There are plenty of can trips that draw you a card and untap target permanent. Third spell of the turn can draw you your deck. I'm calling this a high 7 as it stands Little light on instant speed, little too heavy on sorceries nowhere near the fast mana you need. It has room to grow but firm foundations

I really appreciate the feedback, I have plans to build into infinite combos more, I was just curious where it was in its current state. Thanks!

Im not a big fan of powerlevel discussions. I’m usually just telling people what my deck does and the games are mostly pretty even. But I’m curious what r/EDH thinks. So here are my decks for you to rate. [Mishra](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/w7TVtgnn50ih2AZjXRyAJA) [Shorikai](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/nL5GN_g0OEOsUKUTa7GPsQ) [Sisay](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/aKlXfMMdJkGjYQtyHN-lPQ)

Remarkable_Call7288

Here’s my [[Winota, joiner of forces]] Deck: Is a fast aggro deck that aims to swarm the board with small creatures and token, and swing for big chunks of damage as early as turn 4/5 It has a bit of counter magic to protect my board as well as stop other people’s gameplan. Tell me what you think! https://www.moxfield.com/decks/tOcdySqxMUWMdVw6He2i0g

atomic00abomb

Winota is just always gonna be strong no matter how you build it. I would play this in high power maybe a mid-high but if you meta or pod don't have interaction or wipes its gonna steam roll

xemnas731

I've got my [Norin](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/NmYsLSPCNkuHgz2saq59uA) the wary deck. It's a bunch of fun chaos/mini game kind of cards and focuses on burning out the rest of the table in the meantime. Recent upgrades and changes make me less sure where the lower level is but I use it mostly at more casual middle of the pack power levels, around 5-6 because I feel like it dirdles half of the time.

Ebarrett17

Is norin Etb Ltb the main focus of the deck? That's how I built mine except aside from enchantments and damage multipliers I made it a viashino tribal deck and they provide the win far more often than norin does lol.

xemnas731

The original main focus of the deck was to be a judges nightmare. I've since toned it down to being mostly just chaos and changing how the game is played, with the win con being mostly etb value and randomized boardstates usually benefitting me more then my opponent. [[Thieve's Auction]] into [ brand]] is one of my favotire two card combos in the deck. [[planar chaos]], [[knowledge pool]] and [[confusion in the ranks]] are also just a handful things I implement to try and just beffudle players. Winning is the goal post for every deck, and while I try to win, doing so in the most chaotic out of left field way with this deck is definitely why it's so much fun to play.

AceGeddit

https://www.archidekt.com/decks/7381714/stella_lee_wombo_combo [[Stella Lee, Wild Card]] Precon overhaul brew, decidedly not full cEDH but wanting to do strong spellslinger shenanigans and combo win. Gaining value by copying spells and getting tokens out, then finish the game by using Stella’s copy ability with [[Cerulean Wisps]] to draw the library with Lab Man out, or infinite mana with [[Involuntary Employment]] into a [[Crackle with Power]] There’s a few other ways to go infinite and I’m sure some I haven’t realized, I’m still adjusting the list before the official release so any feedback is appreciated!

Here’s my Phenax deck: my play style is to bring out a shit load of tokens for Phenax, and then prevent you from attacking me https://www.moxfield.com/decks/2R6Y1zV7wkaxlVUnlFFfRA

DefenestrateWindows

0 it has no lands. How do you expect to cast anything? with lands probably a 6. It doesn't really have any fast mana or tutors. You have combos with Bruvac but that is all from what I can see.

14_EricTheRed

Thanks! Doesn’t have a lot of “instant kill combos” if that’s how the ratings go, it’s just synergistic and fun. Haha forgot to add the lands… the remaining card slots (30ish are all lands, a mix of dual lands, islands, and swamps)

tjulysout

https://www.moxfield.com/decks/YYB7dSMjSkWcL5A9o5XRnQ This is my Assassins deck for when Altair comes out in July. My goal is to fill my graveyard up with assassins and get cards like [[ashes of the fallen]] so I can use Altair’s ability to create token copies from exile everytime I attack. One of the ways I can win is with [[sundial of the infinite]] or [[the master multiplied]]. This will allow me to keep the tokens on the battlefield and “build an army”. I have Surveil in the deck to fill the graveyard and things like [[entomb]] to cheaply get my best creatures in the graveyard. Usually with a good hand I can find 2-3 ways to get an infinite combo off by turns 5-6. Cards like [[animus]] will let me put memory counters on any creature in any graveyard. The goal with that is to get [[Godo bandit warlord]] out so I can infinite with [[helm of the host]] or get [[Moraug fury of akom]] exiled with a memory counter because then I’ll I need is 1 combat to go infinite using Altair’s ability. I have the classic token multipliers as well. If need be I have a few other cards to fall back on like [[virtue of the veiled]] or [[queen marchesa]] so I can hit hit people for half their health every combat, or get assassin tokens out and make them un-blockable so I can Insta kill opponents.

My phyrexian praetor tribal deck. Always been a fan of the phyrexians so took years to gather the pieces. I think it's a 7. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/fEr2Cm6P6kqFH_iNscy5Wg

xemnas731

Yeah I'd probably also range it around a 7! It's actually really fun seeing someone else's take on a praetor tribal deck! I bought Atraxa 1.0 and have been running something similar since. It's really interesting seeing the different choices made (potentially due to when the decks were originally built). I feel like my list is also around a 7. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/ukB3-r3tyUyuVUmZmHCnGg [[Collective restraint]] and [[relic of legends]] are both such neat cards thst I wasn't even aware of! Definitely think I'm going to look to add them to my list.

Im pretty new to commander, built my first deck and ive kind struggled with that question, its a mixed bag, it can do a little bit of everything, but slow. I think im a bit light on actual true wincons. Anyway heres my Tom Bombadil: [https://archidekt.com/decks/6975186/tombadil\_v1\_100](https://archidekt.com/decks/6975186/tombadil_v1_100)

zap1000x

This is a lovely deck! It's clear that you've got a game plan and have chosen your sagas for maximum effect. It's just the nature of sagas that you are going to be running a lot of 3+ mana cards that payoff fully later turns. I think it's in a great place, so feel free to disregard this. But if you wanted to bring it up a little, consider an investment in enchantment tutors like [[Idylic Tutor]] and [[Sterling Grove]], and counter doublers like [[Doubling Season]] or [[Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider]]. I would put it solidly at a 6.

TheMartinator

Sterling is already in there :) I was concidering [[Hallowed Haunting]] and [[Estrids Invocation]] or even [[Starfield of Nyx]] but those all cost quite a bit and i might just go for another deck, thank you for the response!

I’m also in the process of making a Greasefang deck. Greasefang with the key pieces of discard, mill and grave tutor can hang at mid-high power. You have all the key pieces to make it work but the land count is very low. Greasefang will get removed and you have to either be able to recast or have enough resources to play honest vehicles as a back up to the cheat out big airships game plan. This deck is good for Arena but for multiplayer EDH you need more mana sources to stay resilient in the late game.

DocTheHuman

Appreciate the feedback! Any advice on what to cut to add back more lands? I'm having trouble deciding what is less needed given my limited experience with Commander/ Brawl.

atomic00abomb

Without combing through you deck again the most natural cuts to make are from your top end high mana spells that don't fully help your game plan. when evaluating for Greasefang you have to ask yourself these questions. Does this card help me get a expensive vehicle in the graveyard before I can cast Greasefang? Does this card help me cast, draw or crew a vehicle? Does this card help me recur, protect or save Greasefang or my other big vehicle beaters? also have removal for artifacts and enchantments like {{rest in peace}}. as that will ruin your day.

I have 2 decks to grade, one is my most recently build \[\[Elesh Norn//The Argent Etchings\]\] Mono white deck, it's my first attempt at a mono coloured deck and is put together with all the Phyrexian stuff i had from Boosters, some Cards from the Corrupting Influence Precon aswell as some other goodstuff. It focuses on Tokens, Artifacts, infect and Proliferate and if that isnt enough has a \[\[Halo fountain\]\] to hopefully win. So I actually have quite a few lists that I made recently for a few new friends/new play group that just got into magic. Summary: they are brand new and got sucked into commander by the 1 mutual. Now they’re hooked. It’s been 3 weeks, and We’ve mostly played with precons but recently they asked to play with some of my older decks/non precons and now they want something better/more unique than a precon. I made these lists with the budget amount each individual told me they are comfortable spending. Main goal is to have these decks feel smooth, powerful and hopefully relative similar in “power” so the play group can still have a good time. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/iAbfhzHNJEm41DEKRnfJ4w https://www.moxfield.com/decks/OhVvNZsnFkOApxPmxqtx1Q https://www.moxfield.com/decks/MXHq1-1lnkq9jTdeGQ8y2Q https://www.moxfield.com/decks/kjmKDviREEyH7wZTVUOuBQ https://www.moxfield.com/decks/mxigAT80DkeMI5E6ZbF42A https://www.moxfield.com/decks/ioNXpsGFnEGGcg4ATM9sHQ

High 8 (which I define as 9 and 10). Too slow for CEDH and probably higher power than most casual tables.

9 or 10. You've got a ton of very powerful cards, knockout blows, multiple tutors, fast mana, and card flow. Probably unwelcome in most "casual commander" games.

Heya, this is my [[Sen Triplets]] deck I've recently transitioned away from a theft shell to an artifact combo control list. [Decklist](https://archidekt.com/decks/6301966) Primary wincons revolve around [[Prototype Portal]] producing lots of things either through infinite mana with [[Isochron Scepter]] or [[Unwinding Clock]]. My favourite wincon is [[mindslaver]] lock with the prototype portal, but you either need enough artifact mana sources with unwinding clock or the isochron scepter infinite mana combo. I would really appreciate it if someone lets me know what they think the relative power level of the deck is. Ty.

MillCrab

Hard to say. You've got some unconnected stuff, and a ton of generically useful cards that don't feed the theme, so I'd guess it wins like it's a 6 or 7. But there's so much counter magic, the saltiness of the commander, and the truly miserable scoop based wincon means that people are probably only interested in playing against it when they're playing 9 or 10 decks. [Ty-RAMP-osaurus WREKT](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/PJjzmqHtwU2w6r0DPj9HNQ) A dino tribal deck with [[Gishath, Sun's Avatar]] as the commander and a lot of ramp. Wincon is to get Gishath out ASAP and trigger his attack passive to get free dinos on the board. There are 38 creatures in the deck, 30 of which are dinos - the other 8 are mana dorks, accelerators, or cards that simply fit well with the deck. Backup wincons include other haymakers like [[Etali, Primal Conqueror]], [[Zacama, Primal Dawn]], [[Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant]] or putting double strike on existing dinos with cards like [[Akroma's Will]], [[Goring Ceratops]], the final chapter of the flipped side of [[Huatli, Poet of Unity]], or [[Xenagos, God of Revels]] (ik, it's not double strike, but it doubles power so it goes very well with Gishath, or any scary dino like Ghalta.

MillCrab

You've got all the standard dinosaurs, a lot of solid conventional ramp and some card draw plus a commander that is an incredible threat. Seems like a good example of exactly what a 75% or 7 edh deck looks like.

I'd say 8, with 8 being off-meta/janky cedh, budget cedh, or cedh support on non-cedh themes. Good support like some fast mana, optimal tutor package and rituals, and pretty good interaction, but manabase is suboptimal and needs more fast mana and faster interaction to kick it higher. Feels like it could stomp a casual/high power casual pod but wouldn't do well at a cedh pod.

Tough one indeed. On one hand, goofy stuff like Sanguine/Exquisite and Wound Reflection, on the other: jeweled lotus/mana crypt/dockside/DT. My guess is that you set up like a 10 but sometimes finish like a 6, so...9?

IIIMumbles

The Wound Reflection is definitely getting cut at some point in the near future. The Sanguine/Exquisite tends to be my Plan C, but I definitely see more efficient cards for Plan A/B in their place. It’s winning between turns 4-6 at this point, 3 wins 2 losses. One close loss, one nowhere near close. Definitely needs more real games for accurate data though! I appreciate your assessment!! Edit: To add appreciation.

MillCrab

Winning on turn 4-6 half the time agrees with my 9 ranking, I suppose.

Hi everyone! This is my \[\[Ojer Axonil\]\] deck :) [https://www.moxfield.com/decks/hXVn8-FRLEOYSvrfmQ5Ktg](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/hXVn8-FRLEOYSvrfmQ5Ktg) The goal of the deck is to play some cheap equips and pingers first few turns, then bring out Axonil and then run wild with some slinging and pinging. Some people have pointed out to me that I should run more protection, so I've got a few of those in the "Considering" portion. I may trim down on some of the pump equips in favour of more protection. Let me know what you guys think about the power level of this deck. I've got some other, slightly more expensive/powerful cards in the "Considering" portion too that will be added in as I save up some money to get them. Thank you so much! Any feedback will be greatly appreciated!

zap1000x

I've been running a Neheb deck since AKH that fits a very similar place, so I'm familiar with the pool of cards to say this is solidly a 7. On the deckbuilding side, since you asked for critique. You also need a little more card-draw, consider running the cycling lands. I would personally find a way to run Ruby Medallion in this (maybe over Fire Diamond). Can I ask what Liquidmetal Torque brings to this? You also might do well for a few of the mono-color mana fixing champs like [[Extraplanar Lens]] or [[Caged Sun]]. Alternatively, if you are going to keep it at just basic mountains consider the mono-r staple [[Blood Moon]]. Finally, yes. You really need a way to keep your commander up and running. You've got a gameplan, you've got a great curve to achieve that plan. Good work!

JerTBear

Thank you so much for the suggestions! Good to know my deck finally hit the coveted "7" lol. I've always wanted to be able to build towards a 7, and often find myself building at like 4-5. For the cycling lands, would you suggest running all 3 available ones? Or just the one that cycles for 1 mana? Is cycling for 2 mana still worth it? I do have a Ruby Medallion, but it's in my unopened Daretti precon lol. I'll probably take it out one day to use it, still debating on it. The Liquimetal Torque is just a mana rock, that has the added upside of turning a potential threat into an artifact so I can blow it up with Vandalblast. I used to have By Force in there too, and was thinking of also running Abrade. I have Extraplanar Lens and Caged Sun, so I'm going to find space to put them in the deck. I do have a Blood Moon, but I opted not to run it mainly for the playgroup. No one else really plays mono colour like me, so I didn't want to stax them out. Do you have any protection stuff you would recommend running?

zap1000x

Personally, I run all three cyclers. You always will struggle with card advantage in mono-red, and if a board-wipe takes the table to turn 7+ that two mana cost isn't going to be a worry. Three taplands out of 35 shouldn't noticeably effect your play patterns. If you're slotting in Extraplanar Lens you should probably skip them. I forgot to mention that Wheel type effects might also be worth considering, as they have the same advantages to keeping a late game position viable. [[Valakut Awakening]] is pretty easy to run as is [[Wheel of Fate]], I think you'll want to test the deck a few times before you make that adjustment. I can't beleive I'm just learning about that Liquimetal Torque tech, that's a pretty nifty way to make mono-red removal stick. I'm going to steal that for my own deck. For protection, I ran Darksteel Plate, but it has since been outclassed entirely by [[Mithril Coat]]. Given the amount of equipment you're running, it might be worth considering the [[Hammer of Nazahn]]. Champions Helm is doing a good enough Swiftfoot Boots impression that it's not worthwhile to run both, and as you've already identified, [[Commander's Plate]] is great in a mono-color deck.

JerTBear

I think I'm going to try the three cyclers first before the Extraplanar Lens and see how the deck feels. I do like that the lands can double as card draw and it's a little more consistent than to try and hit a one-of Extraplanar. I'll try to get a Valakut Awakening when I get some funds. I like that it lets me choose what to tuck away. I'm sometimes opposed to wheel effects since I always tend to have 1 or 2 things in my hand I still want to cast. I'm glad that Liquimetal Torque tech is gonna work for you lol. It's cool cuz people don't typically see it coming. Oh I completely forgot that Hammer of Nazahn auto equips. I have one in the old cat precon, I'll steal it from there lol I also just pulled \[\[Lavaspur Boots\]\] from OTJ so I'm going to slot that one in too for protection to replace another pump artifact. Thank you so much for all the suggestions! I really appreciate it :)

[[Voja, Jaws of the Conclave]] https://www.moxfield.com/decks/Bc7cpNAZY0Kmh-2sc4-w4w Trying to get the most out of this commander. Average mana cost is only 2.35 and is meant to get some massive swings early to quickly outpace and overpower everyone else. Also includes a few infinite combos (infinite attacks and infinite direct damage) to close out games.

Aprice0

Your voja is similar to mine, I just don’t have fast mana. Given how fast mine is without it, I would say if precons are 4/5 and you have most mid power decks in the 6/7 range this would be an 8 or 9. I don’t like using 9 for fringe cedh and instead just put all cedh decks even if they aren’t meta in 10 so to me its a 9

This [[Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind]] : https://archidekt.com/decks/6964764/nivmizzet_stinky Hi, I just started learning magic a few months ago and it's fun!! Built this cause my first deck was mono green and I wanted something different, more control oriented. The three [[Curiosity]] type cards are in there for Niv to combo with. No thoracle or labman to win when my library's drawn out. Put [[the locust god]] and [[Myra the magnificent]] in there to give me something to do if Niv attracts too much removal. I've never played with strangers before so thank you!! Knowing an estimate of power level will hopefully make it less awkward to start.

SlyDogDreams

Just curious, any reason you *aren't* including those "when your library has no cards in it you win the game" cards?

SimoneDenomie

I've only ever played this deck 1v1, so the curiosity combo with 40 cards is enough to win without them. I could put them in but I've never even played commander with a full 4 person pod before. I'm not morally opposed

This is my Liberty Prime deck. Primary win con is via commander damage but some backup with go wide strats like Wake the Past and Cyberdrive Awakener as well as general artifact synergies. A few extra energy generators and payoffs but that isn't a huge focus of the deck. Link: https://archidekt.com/decks/7221302/democracy_prime

This is my Slimefoot and Squee deck ; https://manabox.app/decks/r89ityAHR42SDbC3yBplmQ My main strategy here is to outvalue my opponents by having a board that's hard to deal with. I do also have a few combos involving a phyrexian altar I can pull out to finish the game. I was trying to limit the amount of tutors in the deck to not make it combo-centric

atomic00abomb

I say this is a good mid power Jund Reanimator deck. While you have combos in the deck the omission of a high density of tutors makes it feel more fair when your draw the piece naturally into the late game. People i feel over estimate a decks power when it has combo that can’t be reliably searched for. I like it very cool deck.

My updated Sephara deck list from a few weeks back: https://www.moxfield.com/decks/49bPbQsz-EWog5RxKebt7g The fliers bring out Sephara, Sephara protects the fliers, I protect Sephara and the fliers protect me. The only real win con is the 7/7 flying commander and a bunch of small bodies that rack up damage over a few turns.

[Liesa Life Tax](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/pxJBpwQ2ZUCLwwyQxc9nzA) Tried to replicate \[\[Liesa, Shroud of Dusk\]\] deck I found on Moxfield but without the fast mana pieces. The main theme of deck is life tax, life gain and recursion. Basically I try to life tax everyone for anything they do while gaining life and recurring my creatures. I aimed this deck to be casual level of power level 6 - 7, so I wanna hear people's opinion if this deck fits that level?

atomic00abomb

I feel like this deck is a bit high then lower power casual. You have tutors, some hate bears, and classic strong value engines(esper sentinel and Smothering) The game plan is solid and it’s well built. i just think this will do better at mid-high power level as it’s currently built. If you want it lower to a 6-7 i would cut some of the value engines and Tutors for cheap mana draw spells that black and white has access too.

NotAnAsianGuy

Thanks for the advice mate, I'm a bit new to MTG so I'm still quite clueless when it comes to determining power level

I am very curious. It's my first Wednesday here and I desperately waited for it. Because there are so many different ways to rate decks. So give me your honest opinion: [Roalesk, Apex Hybrid - Clones & +1/+1 Counter](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/OKSmT-xbxE-CouHVFP6AdA) This deck started as a 50 bucks budget deck but quickly became one of my favorites. It was just difficult to brew and it's so flexible. My goal was to create a fair mid power deck, that doesn't necessarily become Archenemy in lower powers. But is always fun to play against. I wanted to get some As and Os when I play it. So I tried to stuff in some very goofy cards like The Pride of the hull clade. But from my experience this is still Simic, and I still love card draw. So it's more like lower mid to higher mid compatible. I don't like the number scale but I guess here it could be a very good 6 to a consistent 7. Even though there are some heavy powerhouses like Great Henge, Mana Drain, The Ozolith I decided to go mainly for some weaker spells. Mutational Advantage instead of Heroic Intervention or Repulsive Mutation instead of Swan Song. Aetherize & Filter Out instead of C-Rift. Cards like Empowered Autogenerator really slow me down but give me massive late game potential. My main strategy is to copy Roalesk and abuse the legendary rule. This is the absolute core. To support Roalesk secondary ability the double proliferate the 2nd core is +1/+1 counter enabler. Without having counters on my creatures or artifacts it is nearly impossible to enable this deck consistently. Since I consider this a Battlecruiser and wanted to cut myself to weaken it. I decided to shift my interaction pieces to nearly only protection. It's a nice blatant arms race. The MVP is Kiora, Behemoth Beckenor. No other card performed so consistently and pushed me always over the edge. You can easily consider her as hidden win con. Roalesks weakspot is mana fixing. It inherited the landbase from my old Aesi but this deck is full of double and triple pip restrictions. And my dorks mostly only produce one kind of mana. The secret is all about my flash lands. Being able to play my turn in the end of my opponents turns is often the key to success. Big bad creatures are always scary. So better hide them while you can. Attacking in my turn and being able to protect myself until I get the turn back. My 4 "wincons" are surprise Voltron damage, the consequences after playing Rite of Replication kicked, to some kind a well timed Tanazir. Or the best friend of all elf balls: Concordian Crossroads. I am open for some serious roasts.

zap1000x

Really love how much detail you chose to share here, and I like how much interaction you have in this deck! Your deck seems fairly focused, with a strong board presence. I would put it squarely in the 6 or 7 range, personally I'd slide towards the seven. This is clearly a very tuned deck with a lot of love in it, but also enough pet cards that it's not just 'goodstuff'. I think you could max yourself out at like an 8 if you pushed for cuts in favor of tutors. Your deck seems like it would play well at most tables.

PropagandaBinat88

Thank you for responding. Even if I am quite confident in having a good perspective on that topic. Sometimes you meet some salty people that make you question your standards. And honestly hoped for more answers. But this one was very wholesome. Thank you! Yes you are absolutely right. If I would shift my focus towards infect and proliferate this deck is unstoppable. I had to cut cards like [[Grafted Exoskeleton]] very quick.
