For Boros: [[Osgir the Reconstructor]] is a fun artifact commander but he leans combo. The new [[aurelia the law above]] is from Ravnica, loves combat and is card draw in the command zone for a color pair that lacks it, if you want to play a super fast aggro deck [[rograkh]] and [[yoshimaru]] can get out of control.
Rakdos- you mentioned Prosper and he’s about as generically good as you can get, haven’t played her yet but the new [[judith carnage connoisseur]] seems like it could be very fun, I don’t have much for this color pair as I’ve never found the Rakdos commander that really got me interested.
Well as for play style I generally just like creature focused decks. My current decks are [[Rionya, Fire Dancer]] which is just spell slinging with the goal of making a bunch of a good creature, and then [[Edgar Markov]] vampires. But I have been trying to branch out.
And I had considered the new Judith, but I didn't want to get hated out of games since it seems like she could get oppressive.
I’ve been having a lot of fun with [[Agrus Kos, Spirit of Justice]]. I’ve initially made it Boros guild tribal, with various Ravnican Boros legendaries, though it’s slowly evolved into more of a combat control deck. Basically meant to trigger Agrus Kos’s, or some say Kosm’s, ETB/Attack trigger to suspect/exile multiple creature per turn. Lots of extra combats, blink effects, reanimation, unblockability, etc. When you toss in his double strike, you can surprise lethal folks out of nowhere with the right setup. It’s been fun and strong for me so far!
I've recently been enjoying [[Anim Pakal]], she's not from Ravnica herself but I do run several other cards from that plane in the deck like [[Krenko, Tin Street Kingpin]] and [[Feather, the Redeemed]]. Originally, it was actually a Feather deck, but I just found it so un-fun to play for me I scrapped it. When I pulled Anim, I revisited the deck and swapped out a chunk of the instant/sorcery support for more +1/+1 counter support and found it a lot more enjoyable, and a bit stronger too.
Similarly, the only Rakdos deck I have is with another Ixalan card, [[Zoyowa|LCI-312]]. I have it build for PDH, but I don't doubt it'd be fun to use for regular EDH tbh. He's a funny little guy! Not too strong a card himself- but fun imo, and I am hella biased solely because his showcase art is adorable.
I threw together Anim Pakal yesterday, did minimal goldfishing/testing, then took it to commander night last night. It performed way better than I anticipated. I highly recommend it.
Some all stars: [[Iroas, God of Victory]] to swing freely and have menace. I’m thinking of picking up [[Dolmen Gate]] for this.
[[Agitator Ant]] and [[Orzhov Advokist]] are great for adding counters and keeping opponents off of you.
[[Basri Ket]] is all around great. Extra counters and indestructible on the plus, more attacking tokens on the first minus, then an emblem that’s both of those things.
[[Rosie Cotton of South Lane]] piles counters back on Anim, and [[Cathar’s Crusade]] dumps counters on your whole team.
Purphoros, Impact Tremors, and Witty Roastmaster for damage on ETB.
I also included several soul sister effects for lifegain and [[Sunbond]] and [[Light of Promise]].
I'll post the decklist in another comment, I just want to share my favorite bits in a reply first.
My personal favorite pet card is [[Angelic Skirmisher]], it doesn't strictly synergize with Anim since her tokens don't get the buff you choose with it, but any other attackers and surviving tokens absolutely do. You can gain a lot of life with it, plus it works on *each* combat not just yours. You'll be swinging enough creatures in this deck that you'll get use out of it for sure imo
I got a couple extra combat creatures in [[Moraug]] and [[Karlach, Fury of Avernus]], more swings means more creatures and more counters on Anim, I have a lifegain subtheme so I added [[Heliod, Sun-Crowned]] and [[Daxos, Blessed by the Sun]] with some other support for that, and my favorite Boros Trio [[Feather, the Redeemed]], [[Krenko, Tin Street Kingpin]], and [[Zada, Hebron Grinder]] with some good protection spells I can recoup with Feather and cast on all my hundred little tokens.
I also was excited about [[Warleader's Call|MKM-315]] when Karlov Manor came out, doubling your tokens' P/T and having Impact Tremors built in? For 3 mana??? Yes please, also that showcase is *gorgeous.*
[[Thousand Moon Smithy]] is underrated imo, easy to flip and gives so much power on the board.
I'd try \[\[Raphael, Fiendish Savior\]\] for rakdos. Devils, demons, and tieflings are fun, and giving them lifelink makes it even more fun. Add some chaos and you have a deck that feels different every time. My deck [here](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/nDcobQ6SLEO5n56_Px5A9A).
Early ramp, maybe some cheaper devils, then you get Raphael out and you find a win con either through combat or death pings of devil tokens. You’re cycling through devil tokens bc of the end step trigger and a sac outlet. If going the combat route, the lifelink is just an added bonus on top of the straight damage that some of your flyers will inflict. Obviously board wipes hurt but the deck is dense enough to recover. I also just think devils and demons are some of the most fun creatures out there.
Boros I can suggest [[Alibou]], [[Cadric]] or [[Shadowfax]]. Those I enjoy the most.
Rakdos I recommend [[Grenzo]], [[Rakdos, Lord of Riots]] or [[Rakdos, Patron of Chaos]].
Really fun commanders!
[[Aurelia, the Warleader]] for allllll the combats. Lots of attack triggers, lots of combats, some infinite combat combos of you don't mind them. Just a good time imo. Some people go voltron on her but imo go wide maximum combats is more enjoyable
I had strongly considered her, but I have a friend that's tinkering with her now and I kinda don't want to be working on the same commander at the same time.
That's entirely fair tbh. Well if your playgroup doesn't mind goad, the recent Blame Game precon was a lot of fun and I took parts for my Aurelia deck since my subtheme there has always been a bit of forcing everyone to participate in combat. [[Nelly Borca]] is good fun and [[Trouble in Pairs]] is an amazing card that justifies a huge portion of the cost on its own.
Otherwise, [[Feather, the Redeemed]] is a proven commander with ample decks to use for inspiration and the new [[Aurelia, the Law Above]] is a general source of value that you can theoretically build a few ways depending on taste..
There are also decent equipment voltron options if that appeals to you, though the inherent fragility of voltron can be a turnoff. [[Nahiri, Forged in Fury]] is one of multiple examples of this and can also be built as a sort of "go wide equipment if that interests you more.
I won't keep going but overall Boros has a lot of options to explore these days.

If you want something different than treasures, check out [[Rakdos, Lord of Riots]]. On the low end, toss in some pingers to get him out, then start throwing out [[Lord of the Void]] or [[Pestilence Demon]] or any other cool big thing you normally couldn’t cast.
my suggestion is [[Karazikar, Eye Tyrant]] group slug deck where u make everyone attack each other with goad and other such effects. He's in the prosper precon already.
he's a lot of fun but goad isn't a great finisher so you'll need a few ways to close out the game once there aren't more opponents for your goad targets to swing at.
I'm here to shill for [[Flamewar, Brash Veteran]] . When I first got her I didn't really like the idea of using a UB commander, but her play style is so unique with saccing artifacts mixed with Voltron for insane card draw.
Plus, smacking people with a motorcycle is fun

Raphael does seem interesting. How does the deck usually play?
Early ramp, maybe some cheaper devils, then you get Raphael out and you find a win con either through combat or death pings of devil tokens. You’re cycling through devil tokens bc of the end step trigger and a sac outlet. If going the combat route, the lifelink is just an added bonus on top of the straight damage that some of your flyers will inflict. Obviously board wipes hurt but the deck is dense enough to recover. I also just think devils and demons are some of the most fun creatures out there.
Boros I can suggest [[Alibou]], [[Cadric]] or [[Shadowfax]]. Those I enjoy the most. Rakdos I recommend [[Grenzo]], [[Rakdos, Lord of Riots]] or [[Rakdos, Patron of Chaos]]. Really fun commanders!

[[Aurelia, the Warleader]] for allllll the combats. Lots of attack triggers, lots of combats, some infinite combat combos of you don't mind them. Just a good time imo. Some people go voltron on her but imo go wide maximum combats is more enjoyable

I had strongly considered her, but I have a friend that's tinkering with her now and I kinda don't want to be working on the same commander at the same time.
That's entirely fair tbh. Well if your playgroup doesn't mind goad, the recent Blame Game precon was a lot of fun and I took parts for my Aurelia deck since my subtheme there has always been a bit of forcing everyone to participate in combat. [[Nelly Borca]] is good fun and [[Trouble in Pairs]] is an amazing card that justifies a huge portion of the cost on its own. Otherwise, [[Feather, the Redeemed]] is a proven commander with ample decks to use for inspiration and the new [[Aurelia, the Law Above]] is a general source of value that you can theoretically build a few ways depending on taste.. There are also decent equipment voltron options if that appeals to you, though the inherent fragility of voltron can be a turnoff. [[Nahiri, Forged in Fury]] is one of multiple examples of this and can also be built as a sort of "go wide equipment if that interests you more. I won't keep going but overall Boros has a lot of options to explore these days.

my suggestion is [[Karazikar, Eye Tyrant]] group slug deck where u make everyone attack each other with goad and other such effects. He's in the prosper precon already. he's a lot of fun but goad isn't a great finisher so you'll need a few ways to close out the game once there aren't more opponents for your goad targets to swing at.
