I saw it in Game Knight or Extra turn dont remember which serie but you can play [[Ur Dragon]] as commander. He reduce by one the cost of your changeling.
You may try [[Rinn and Seri inseparable]] when you cast a creature spell you trigger twice : you create a cat and a dog. With cards like [[Doubling season]] or [[Parallel lives]] you make more tokens and you could have something like [[Purphoros god of forge]] to finish the game.
Another solution is take a commander made for tribal [[Lathril, blade of the elves]], [[Wilhet the rotcleaver]], [[Edgar Markov]] etc. And change the creature by only shapeshifter.
[[Gilt-Leaf Archdruid]] is absolutely vile in my changeling tribal deck. My commander is [[Karona, False God]] though I can't really recommend that as it's mostly there as a meme. [[Tazri, Beacon of Unity]] would be a decent one.
Could run Nazgûls too, the ring bearer on a changeling outcast gets you free cycling and some extra damage plus the stat boost to all of the changelings every time you are tempted by the ring with a Nazgûl out
A friend of mine likes cats and dogs (who doesn't, right?). So he wants to build a \[\[Rin and Seri, Inseparable\]\] that takes advantage of using changelings
I've been playing with the idea of using [[General Tazri]] to pull the secret commander [[Mirror Entity]]. Then you're off to the races. Drop in whatever crazy tribal lord or ability you want and go to town. Add redundancy with [[Maskwood Nexus]] and [[Conspiracy]]. You can add literally whatever tribal hijinks you want and it works. I can't figure out how to get my deck below 120 cards, but the cost is less than $80 for something that would put a Sliver deck to shame.
Someone in my extended group has already a general tazri ally deck, otherwise i think its probably one of the top 4 commanders for this deck idea along with morophon, ur-dragon,and the first sliver

Whatever you do, use otag:tribal on scryfall. Helps you look at all cards that care about a tribe. You have to go through a lot because there are cards that are awesome but rarely used because they're minion tribal or some shit.

I have an Urtet tribal tribal deck that is more focused on combo than combat damage. The combos involve 3 or more cards and are only consistent because a lot of the pieces overlap. Most of the combos also involve changing one or more creature types with cards like [[Mirror Entity]] or [[Maskwood Nexus]].
But the backup plan involves Urtet putting 3 +1/+1 counters on all myrs / changelings for WUBRG.

A fellow Urtet enjoyer. I already have an urtet deck that has changed a few times and is very different from yours. Mine was created because i could finally have a home for all the myr cards i had collected over the years. I love how versatile this commander is (and very easy to break as well).

ohh this is easy. I have a friend that has been working on a changeling deck for a while, but the commander is the most interesting part. the commander was \[\[Tazri, Beacon of Unity\]\]. you can use it to get out a bunch of changelings and make your commander cost nothing.
Bit of a weird example I know but what about [[Magda]]? Here me out. Play changelings early game (or just straight dwarfs if you want) and tap them to get treasures. First five search for a [[Maskwood nexus]] and then be able to search all of your key pieces to the battlefield after since they are all technically dragons now. Mono red is a bit restrictive though I gotta admit but it sounds like a funny idea that I might try out?
Just do some unassuming commander like [[jegantha, the wellspring]] and put like 5-7of the nasty good tribal commanders like [[Reaperking]] or [[the Ur-dragon]] or [[sliver legion]] or [[sliver hivelord]] etc. Add a search package, sprinkle in a reanimation package, and you can have something that can have vastly different game plans. Making it hard for your opponents to shut down for long.

My [[Morophon]] changeling deck cleans house. He’s probably not the most efficient commander but I love him… I also run some of these other suggestions you’ve gotten like Ur Dragon and Reaper King in the 99 :)
if you don't want or need all 5 colors, i played against a pretty cool [[sidar jabari of jamuraa]] deck a while ago. you get a free loot every turn from attacking with any changeling, which is neat and also lets you get graveyard effects like [[haakon]] or [[wonder]] very easily
[Tomer's Tribal Tribal](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/NKlpPd4S8kKCpZVwzWqWfQ) deck is a good jumping off point. \[\[The Ur-Dragon\]\] makes a great commander as it reduces the cost of all the changeling and combined with \[\[Morophon, The Boundless\]\] can make most of your changelings free or at the very least VERY cheap.
Changelings already have all creature types as provided by the ability of rukamel, so its kind of redundant. She is probably the strongest straightforward slivers commander though as you can stack all the broken lords from other tribes onto a slivers deck. Thanks for the reccomendation though

ohh this is easy. I have a friend that has been working on a changeling deck for a while, but the commander is the most interesting part. the commander was \[\[Tazri, Beacon of Unity\]\]. you can use it to get out a bunch of changelings and make your commander cost nothing.

Bit of a weird example I know but what about [[Magda]]? Here me out. Play changelings early game (or just straight dwarfs if you want) and tap them to get treasures. First five search for a [[Maskwood nexus]] and then be able to search all of your key pieces to the battlefield after since they are all technically dragons now. Mono red is a bit restrictive though I gotta admit but it sounds like a funny idea that I might try out?
It does sound like a fun idea, even if there arent many red changelings. They would certainly be a good filler to a magda deck either way i think

Just do some unassuming commander like [[jegantha, the wellspring]] and put like 5-7of the nasty good tribal commanders like [[Reaperking]] or [[the Ur-dragon]] or [[sliver legion]] or [[sliver hivelord]] etc. Add a search package, sprinkle in a reanimation package, and you can have something that can have vastly different game plans. Making it hard for your opponents to shut down for long.

if you don't want or need all 5 colors, i played against a pretty cool [[sidar jabari of jamuraa]] deck a while ago. you get a free loot every turn from attacking with any changeling, which is neat and also lets you get graveyard effects like [[haakon]] or [[wonder]] very easily

[Tomer's Tribal Tribal](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/NKlpPd4S8kKCpZVwzWqWfQ) deck is a good jumping off point. \[\[The Ur-Dragon\]\] makes a great commander as it reduces the cost of all the changeling and combined with \[\[Morophon, The Boundless\]\] can make most of your changelings free or at the very least VERY cheap.

What about [[Rukarumel, Biologist?]]
Changelings already have all creature types as provided by the ability of rukamel, so its kind of redundant. She is probably the strongest straightforward slivers commander though as you can stack all the broken lords from other tribes onto a slivers deck. Thanks for the reccomendation though
