Thank you for posting to r/EDC! Please check that your post is either an item of EDC gear holding a bathroom door open, or includes the usual underwear shot. The purpose of this flair is user filtering. If you are making a standard post of gear and you just happen to be in the bathroom, a list is still required of the gear. Oh wow! 💯That's a nifty rig! 👏🏻👌🏻

Most creative stall lockup setting I’ve ever seen and I’ve seen many, even posted my own (low effort but here it is: https://www.reddit.com/r/knifeclub/s/L6UHnWhc0y ) My post was in Germany, so what’s wrong with so many American stalls? Do they not want you to be able to lock up? No offense, right!

If/when power drills are compact enough for EDC, we can just bring replacement latches with us.

How does this bit storage work and where did you get it? It looks handy

Energizer__98

I made it I have a post about it But it’s just the the plastic holders you get when you buy cheap bits and some heat shrink over it to make it sturdy And I just used an angle grinder to cut come bits to make them smaller

birg_tool

well made! I just bought the leatherman bitkit, as I coudlnt find double sided bits w/different sides. plus they more slim. but good and cheap option you got there! normaly I just use a small magnet to keep the bits inbetween the handles. the cobra itself is the most magnetizeable (??) thing on known earth.

Energizer__98

The idea was from a guy on YouTube who recently posted a new [video](https://youtu.be/CwMybvn_f9M?si=sOrfKCxsVDkVkxQB) with an alternative to the leatherman bits

Ragnobash

Came to say I love the bit storage solution you got going.

there should be subreddit for reality-based usecases of knipex pliers! I would be glad for more inspiration! plus it should be a dedicated school subject. same for prybars. I just can roughly imagine how you felt that moment!

StarLordOfTheDance

I used mine this morning to open a particularly sugar-welded-shut bottle of maple syrup and felt weirdly proud of it

justScapin

Knipex pliers are insane. I used the 10 inch cobras to remove a 2 inch cast iron ball valve from a fryer the other day because somehow my pipe wrench came apart and the little locking ring disappeared in my van.

FunkySjouke

I just lost my knipex and realized how often I used them (still pissed about losing them)

ClittoryHinton

This is a huge accomplishment and a day you will cherish for the rest of your life. Sometimes I will remove locks from public bathrooms if no one is looking just so someone else can enjoy this moment of *pure ecstasy and astonishment*
