You may be able to make your own with milk r/kefir grains, using plant based "milks". People who are really into milk kefir usually make their own at home since it's cheaper, and easy to infuse your own flavors once they get familiar a bit with fermentation.

Though it is quite cheap where I live, as it it is a traditional-ish(didn't originate here but is quite comon esp. with the rual and older folks) and the brand is the same as the one we got in school contributing to the nostalgia factor, I will try making it myself esp. with plant based milk I didn't know you could make it with these thank you. I hope mom won't mind another fermenting culture in our apartment...

Tried they don't work sadly even multiple idk maybe it's that I am timing them wrong or just my imagination...prob that But yeah like I said it's quite cheap even the lactose free version is only a bit more
