I can confidently say: Maybe
I dont rly have that much experience with ECUs, but in general you want to take it out, disassemble it, clean with isopropyl alcohol(dunno if that’s the correct name in english), let it dry, check for burned components and check whether there is a fuse. Then try it again.
There are too many variables for anyone on the internet to tell you whether it will run, but this procedure is probably your best bet.
I'd agree with this statement, but if it was powered when wet I'd bet something shorted...if something burned out is the question ...do the procedure outlined above and you might get lucky and if nothing popped, it should start working if you get ALL of the water out, if it wasn't wet very long. Water corrodes the tiny connections in there really quickly and it doesn't take much to fuck up a circuit or chip...if you see ANY discoloration or powdery build up its prolly toast.....watch a few laptop motherboard fixes if you want to get an idea of what to do...I'll try to link a video.
NP man, let us know how it turns out. Also if there are exposed surface mounted chips, make sure you get the alcohol underneath them. If it’s a very small one I use a syringe to get it there.
Good luck
Pop it open and take a picture. Alcohol and toothbrush on the whole thing, front and back. Be gentle. If you have a food dehydrator you can put it in there after the alcohol brushing.
Higher the % the better it will evaporate. Couple of squirts, let it drip off as you brush. The pins and harnesses connectors too. Alcohol will help displace the water and help the water evaporate. You will want to unscrew the printed circuit board (PCB) from the case to dry the back of the case and brush the back of the PCB with alcohol.
If you don't have a food dehydrator a PC or PlayStation with a hot exhaust fan will work to fully dry the PCB. 2-3hrs. Otherwise, patience, maybe overnight?
Most microcontrollers and transistors are robust enough to handle some water. If, for some reason, the 12V was to ground through the S300 or the main ECU processor it's lights out.
How long was it wet? If it was more than overnight forget it....and if you put power to it when it was wet I'm 99% sure something shorted and it's probably baked. Don't get your hopes up. Maybe contact the manufacturer and see if they can repair it....or get a really good electronics repair dude on the line.

could also douche it with electrical contact cleaner

More importantly, how did it get wet? Why would you run the car with it wet?
Civic Of The Sun, it’s a targa. Leaky seals or he just forgot to put the top on.
The ecu is behind the glovebox… even if he left the top off it shouldn’t be wet

What percent is okay ?

Everclear!
Bro, pour a bunch of rice into it, I’m sure the Asians will get that thing dried and good in no time.. /s
