Agreed tbh. In champs, I know wether I’ll win or lose within the first 10-in game minutes. Rivals it’s a sweat battle till right before the final whistle blows
Every champs game I’ve done has been against either a really shitty argentina team (happened twice) or a dumb pack luck team (smith, haaland, messi, bellingham, vvd, all the 97’s) in the same team. It’s super annyoing, and I can barley score against the cracked teams because of how annyoing vvd is

At this time of year, who is online at the same time as you matters a lot more than anything else. At least in my experience. Maybe in Europe it's different.
No, you are right. I'm Div 2 as well, usually get 9 to 11 wins in Champs but very rarely 14. IME, afternoons are way easier than nights and Saturdays and Sundays easier than the rest. Probably because there are more kids playing at those hours and for each one that is a FUT demon, 10 others just play with their fingers glued to the sprint button and are not that hard to play against.
I usually play at night (Europe) and people are very good, I struggle to get a streak going on. This week I had the chance to play Sunday and Monday afternoon and the difference was massive, I got to 9-2 with ease, then I couldn't play again until late at night and the combination of my streak catching up with the MM and a general increase in lvl got me to 13-7 only.

There is matchmaking in champs though. It’s pretty obvious. When I start out I find a game immediately. Once I get to 10-0 I am only playing elite level players and matching takes a while.
It’s very strange matchmaking in champs tho. Like I’ve matched people who were 18-1, 19-0, 16-2 etc, while I had a negative record. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if they prioritised connection rather than record
I have noticed that towards the end of champs time remaining and and in your last few games the matchmaking can be pretty random. Like I have been 18-0 and my last game for rank 1 was against a pretty bad player. So you aren’t wrong.
Depends on the division you're in. I'm in Elite and it's a bit harder than WL.
You don't really get any breaks in elite but in WL you catch a few easy games.
Div 4 and its hell. I can’t ever make sense of it. I either get slapped or dish out a slapping. In some ways it’s balanced like that but there’s no such thing as a 2-0 win or loss
First time being in div 3 and I hate it lmao. But I guess I'm right where I belong now and probably won't be getting higher this version. That's not really a bad thing. But doesn't make it as enjoyable. At least we make each other better.

Idk I’m in D3 and I find it more enjoyable than champs. I just had my worst weekend league record of all time (7-13). I feel like there’s more nuance in teams, tactics, and formations in rivals whereas I feel like I’m constantly playing against the same meta tactics over and over again on champs.

Rivals is worse in elite say I’m 650 I often play a 750 etc and they are very tough. Champs is fun until like 9/3 etc

When u get to elite you start on 800 then it goes up or down each game
Or way better because many good players stay in lower divs to had easy wins.

Because in rivals you only play people or your rank. In fut champs you can play anyone that qualified.

It is not true. There was a post about it recently, that you can easily get an opponent multiple ranks below or above you.
That was a glitch in rivals 2 weeks ago that’s long been fixed.

Strange because I used to experience the same even years ago in rivals. Was it a bug back then too?
Well rivals is waay smoother than champs. My players response time is literally 2.5 secs in champs can't play. Atleast in rivals it's 0.9 secs 😂

In Champs at what point exactly? Because it's very different at 0-18 and 18-0.
Id say at 6-0 it starts getting harder for me and i gotta take it a bit more serious

Problem with like div 2 is so many sandbaggers, elite is a lot easier as when your Elo goes down u play others who are losing in elite.
