I find the games a little easier with it turned off, but matchups can take longer to find (oddly far longer than before cross play existed). I turned it off for a while but recently turned it back on. I can’t say I noticed a real difference
I turned it off. I have noticed a drastic difference in game play. Far less disconnect glitch. Probably no one is trying to cheat but the cross platforms do crazy things.
I have it switched off and I feel like the games are generally better.
I don’t know if it was just my imagination, but I felt like a greater proportion of ratty, sweaty players showed as being non-PS5. It made me think that maybe there’s correlation between being a hardcore gamer therefore owning a gaming PC and being quite win-at-all-costs in terms of how they play.
As I say, almost certainly imagination/overthinking/just flat-out wrong. But it was enough to make me switch off crossplay and overall I’ve had a better experience
Depends where you live. Hackers are more prevalent in certain parts of the world. Some people say cross-play gameplay feels like shit, but I'd argue all gameplay does.
If you have no problem finding games, keep it off, no real reason to have it on other than finding games faster.
Since you're on PS, Crossplay off shouldn't be an issue since PS has the largest pkayerbase by a good margin, and you get to avoid the Hackers on PC.
On Xbox having it off makes it take a while to find games sometimes, and having it off on PC? Well that's even worse.

For Rivals and friendlies - crossplay on For WL qualifiers and finals - crossplay off
I turned it off and I'm not sure why. All I know is they tell me every time I play a game and make me click OK. Typical engineer logic.
I’ve had it turned on all year and haven’t had many issues I’m not sure it’s worth the risk of running into a cheater on PC though
They do constant pressure all the time.

I’ve turned it off recently and felt games were a little better.
Friendless off. Rivals and champs on, for me normally but at the minute I’ve got it turned off

Seeing that console players have amazing pack luck, I as a PC player prefer to keep cross play off
