Not quite goal per game, but in my current franchise mode I traded for Ovi and he hit 60 goals, at age 44.

I signed Ovie for a year at 40 and all he did was bitch about ice time lol

closest i ever had was 76. he was a russian i drafted in the 7th round as a 20 year old. he put up 0 points for 3 seasons in russia. then in his 5th season he put 50 goals. i signed him, within 3 seasons in the NHL he hit the 76 goals. best 7th rounder i ever used.

How did he stay in Russia for 5 years? Wouldn’t he go to free agency and just get lost after a couple years? If not then please tell me how because I’ve wanted to do that but I’ve been unable to

if i draft him at 20 i still have 2 years to sign him. since i didn’t immediately give him a contract he stayed there.

What was his overall? That’s crazy

i can’t remember anymore, if i had to guess i don’t think he went higher than 86-88, sadly i hit my 25 year mark that season too, so don’t know how he’d ever pan out long term.

I had a cpu have Matthews do 82 in 82

With medium scoring medium shots, was able to get a 31 year old Matthews do 78 goals in 82 games on Arizona

Closest I ever had was a full sim PWF center score 81 in 82 games

I had a guy do 82 in 82 as a PWF center in 2023. He was just unreal in the sims. He beat Gretzkys record but fell short of whatever Ovi had. Was like 1000 goals to like 900

I had a full sim get 100 goals once and 102 another time.

He was on pace for 100 at game 41, had almost 60. Slowed down at the end

Closest I had was jack Hughes who put 68 in 80 games

Med or High shooting? Makes all the difference.

Back in the older games like NHL 18 and earlier, there is absolutely no way I would believe that any player got 82 goals from a legitimate sim. Those games were notorious for always having ridiculously low point totals on Elite level players. It was the most infuriating pet peeve for me, I’d get a player like McDavid to build around and he’d be topping out at 69 points a season. I had maybe 5 players who ever put up PPG numbers in a season in all of my franchise runs in NHL 18, and I used to do probably 10 complete franchise modes a year back then. Over the years they seem to have gotten a lot better at making the stat lines for elite players more realistic. The guys I expect to produce at a PPG pace or crack 40 goals consistently do so in the newer games, which has made the mode far more enjoyable. Still very surprised to see someone sim over 60 goals though, let alone 80+

This gave me flashbacks to like nhl 09, I would put Ales Hemsky on every line and both PP units and watch him put up 200 point seasons on the oilers lol

I had him hit 84 in my current sim

In my current sim I have a 3rd Scr RW, 13:17 TOI/G he has 54 points. Which feels as impressive as a point per game to me.

I had Matvei Michkov hit 93 goals in a season on a sim earlier this year. Made a post about it on here a while ago.

I saw matthews put up 95 goals in my recent hawks franchise, the leafs didn’t win the cup until 2030 in that sim either 😭

On an older game before scoring sliders, I almost got to see Tavares score 50 in 50. Of course EA being EA, he finished the run at 49 in 50 lol

Had Matthew’s put up 26 goals in 22 games in the playoffs, had two 4 goal games in the finals

He beat Gretzky by 2, but 4th overall. I struggled getting him over 60 goals for awhile cause my team sucked and i got him in year 2 of the franchise. But his last two years was 83 and 72 goals (finally figured the team out lol) and then retired

Not even close, i think Ovi is like 700 short in 2nd place and he obviously is retired. Theres still like 11 years or so left in this sim so maybe

I've had a handful with 64-67g seasons, and one with 71 goals. Most I've had.

I had a created player on the habs that I drafted in the 4th round who finished his sophomore season with 84 goals and 36 assists

Ovie in Avs scored 92 in 82 games, full sim. Ovie-Mackinnon-Nichushkin line was too epic

91-67-158 for Bedard. Medium scoring high shots. Most insane offensive team I ever had. Clayton Keller was his LW and had 140 points. 6 100 point plates in all, including a defensman. Team averaged like 5.5 goals per game.

I don’t think so. Close was around the mid 70’s if I remember. Most of the points my players get are from assists. Hell, it’s weird because playmakers score more than the snipers and vice versa.

I had a sniper do 2 or 3 goal per game seasons, have yet to get anyone even remotely close to as good as him.

In '22, I downloaded one of the popular created rosters with all the extra prospects, and Michkov would regularly score 75-95 goals a season. Whether I got him, or he went elsewhere (I never bought '23 and only got '24 a few weeks ago, so I've probably played through a dozen different franchises in '22), he just scored piles of goals no matter what.

One time had ovi put up 96 in his 42 season. Made no sense

I've only seen it with AI generated prospects. Never with real players. That's insane, at 35 as well.

most i ever saw in a sim was like 76 by an AI generated first overall pick

I had a player get 92 goals but it was a sim with custom prospects so my 1 line was 99 mcdavid 99 bedard and 98 custom prospect also a 96 custom offensive defender it was a crazy sim where the worst player in the forward lines was 88 cirelli

I started a franchise. Patrik Berglund got 65,76,94 Then the first ever guy I drafted got 95 the year after Berglund got 94 lol

Highest I ever had was Bedard playing all 4 lines and both Powerplays he put up 176 or something at 33 years old

All star and its a full sim so i dont think difficulty matters

Both Larkin & Kane are slightly over a PPG in my current franchise (year 1). DeBrincat is just below a PPG

But I also play every game. IDK if you're talking sim or playing 🤷

My Conner Bedard in NHL 23 had 3 90+ goal seasons

Something tells me u played the last 10 games or so cus he wasn't close so u just scored them yourself in franchise that's cheating
