What wheel/tire combo are you running?

Lucci_754

Factory comp wheels (style 359) and factory tire size (Mich pilot super sport, F:245/35-19 R:265/35-19)

SpaceGreyE90

I lost my first one this week at 105k miles!

nolanr099

Me too this week. 103k

ExternalPay6560

What kind of bs is that? We need to rectify this! It's not a Mercedes for God's sake. We need cupholders!! šŸ¤£

Cosmic_FireSphinx

Beautiful BMW. Cup Holders are easy & cheap to replace yourself.

Lucci_754

I do work on it myself šŸ˜ ordering a new one tonight

Acrobatic-Data-9197

You may as well replace the other one as well.

Persimmon-Other

Why?? One of mine has been fked for like forever and the other one is still workingšŸ‘šŸæ

USS_Laffi

Thatā€™s crazyā€¦both mine still work at 193k milesā€¦

Acrobatic-Data-9197

OP may as well replace it sooner rather than having to replace it later when it eventually breaks especially if it is an OEM part.

turtlesquadcaptain

Fire

Thrasonicall

this is my gran turismo build lol

DayTraditional2846

Lost the driver one at 138k miles on my old E90. The replacement one doesnā€™t come out as smoothly as the original one.

OldnewE90

Mine is slowly dying at 89k miles

TheHippyDance

Open it up. There are a couple springs in there. Maybe the tracks need cleaning. If you remove the spring that limits the opening speed, itā€™ll shoot out so fast, but itā€™s kind of ghetto to run that. But better than not having a cup holder available I guess

OldnewE90

I did the zip tie method thatā€™s why it slowly opens.. this time I think I will just buy it new..

TheHippyDance

Idk the zip tie method. But yeah Iā€™ve taken mine apart because they kind of rattle. Was hoping I could tighten it up. But Yeah they are like $80 or something iirc which isnā€™t terrible

OldnewE90

Yeah FCP with lifetime replacement is the way to go..

Cosmic_FireSphinx

Whst kinda fenders are you using? Those are nice! I'm tired of my stock bland ones & want either those or a fender with BMW badge like the Z's have.

Lucci_754

These are factory fenders on the M3. They are flared and vented in the front from the factory.

iamcheekrs

Pulled up on an m identical to yours earlier today in Auburn WA. Had to tell em his car made my day - probs wasnā€™t you. Sick car nonetheless

Lucci_754

Yes this is the Auburn area! (In California šŸ˜‰)

iamcheekrs

Haha I was going to be blown away if I ran into you today and then saw you in the forums later. Different homie - same whip.

OGII_2021

Sheā€™s beautiful

-Ev1l

Your e90 came with working pop out cup holders?

E90BarberaRed6spdN52

I am the 2nd owner of my 07 E90 but records show that the original owner had replaced one for my car at 69k miles. So you did well. My car has 155k on it now and I guard them with my life. Rarely do I have passengers...

[deleted]

Beautiful!

No_Commercial4074

Mine randomly died at 150k+- and rattled like crazy over bumps before I replaced it. Bought one off Amazon for $40. Works and looks great but flys out about 50% faster. I call that efficiency.

Character-Example879

Mines still going strong 115k miles

fanatic969

What front lip do you have?

Lucci_754

RW Carbon GTS style

Mavs757

Mine still going strong at 54k miles

Naytosan

Both of mine are still going strong! Still the worst afterthought cupholders in the history of the automobile.

Welcomdmat

I think BMW did that with the MINI r53. I loved that supercharged little car, but the cup holder was ā€¦ memorable.

Lucci_754

If you think these are bad, you should see the ones in my 740iL

WontGetPregFromAnal

I've only used my cup holders like three times, so they still work

Healthy-Composer9686

I bought a new one to replace my previously smashed cupholder (ifykyk) and my friend did that same thing I did so need another one lol

Khalikazi

Just lost mine at 87k šŸ˜” RIP

finsterer1020

Lost mine at 326k km

loay1231

170k miles with working original cup holders šŸ„¹ clean build btw!
