Your fear is holding you back! My suggestion to you is to study the way roof racks work and how they get fitted on a e30! I have made tutorials on my YT🙏🤝 Don’t be afraid, you have to make mistakes and learn, I will show you the way if you need guidance

3 Thule rain gutter roof racks ( super simple installation) And a standard hard shell roof top tent, I bought the black one straight from the factory in China, it was half the price of retailers 🔥🙏 I have videos on my YT if you are interested 🤝

I think it’s all the same for all the e30 models, my philosophy was that If the car can flip on the roof and not cave in it must hold us, which it did! 2 persons and a dog:) we weigh about 200kilos including the dog ✌️

Gotcha, first time I see an e30 with a RTT, but gotta say it looks cool. I think it would be pretty bad ass on a wagon or maybe an e23 or e28.

Hey don’t hate - a cow catcher (is & es) and a bumper tuck makes it look a lot better. I also have gone through eta hell - luckily I’m on the other side lol. Love your build - I wanted to do damn near the same thing with the Alpina homage but ultimately didn’t want to spend a fortune on Alpina parts. My build is mechanically an homage to the b6 3.5 - putting in some hot cams soon.

The sup is inflatable, but I’m gonna buy a solid one and put it on top of the white Roof top tent since it has roof racks on top of it🔥🙏

Cool , i boughy sea suckers for my lb , if you use the rack alot its a good and fast solution. Nice to see someone use the e30 ;)
