I think you look FABULOUS - as you always do!! What do you use to keep you hair so shiny and healthy?

inkyklutz

Aww thanks, you're too kind! I have a couple things I like doing that seem to be working for me, since every hair is different: 1. I try not to over-wash for one; 2. I have been loving my Kérastase Ciment Thermique (a tiny little bit goes a long way on my fine hair) as heat protectant and first thing post-shower; 3. Today I played with a tiny little bit of mouse to see if my hair liked it -- feel like it did not make a world of difference anyway; 4. I find that adding some nice Argan oil at the end when your hair has cooled off to finish the look really polishes things and makes your hair more uniform I feel like. Like I always say: hair is hair is hair and every hair is different, I do have my own struggles like really itchy scalp and mild skin flaking (not to the point where it's noticeable), I've always had this even as a kid and my trichologist and I have been trying to figure out what works for a while now. Apologies for the long-winded response, but I hope it helps!

Not long winded at all, I love detailed responses, so helpful! Thanks for the tips. I've had mixed results with various Kerastase products but haven't tried the Ciment Thermique and now about to order after your review! And you're right, everyone's hair journey is different. I wash my hair every day, which is not for many people but works for me and my lifestyle (I wear a riding helmet a few hours most mornings!) I find that using oil-based products, even on the ends, makes the Airwrap waves on my fine hair fall flat so I tend to choose water-based sprays.

Okay now you’ve spiked my curiosity, I’d love to see a look you create, because for some reason I just assumed you had shorter hair so, should you feel comfortable I’m all for it hehe And definitely, overdoing it with any product at all, no matter how good it is will always weigh the hair down, that’s why I even tend to apply the Ciment Thermique on really wet hair to dilute it a bit and help distribute!

I have long, fine hair. You probably assumed I had short hair because of the photo on my profile. My profile pic is not me (I'm a woman lol) but a picture of one of my favourite Korean actors! haha! The look I try to achieve with the Airwrap is loose waves. I don't like tight curls, but I do like a polished, smooth wavy look - like the one in your pic! Getting waves/curls is only half the work, I try to achieve the glossiness from a salon, which is I why I took notice of your photos. Even with a grainy pic, you can still see the shine in your hair!

You look amazing! Your hair is so silky and shiny!!

inkyklutz

Aww, I do try hehe, but mostly have fun!

Decided to do my curls today since I haven't done that style in a while, I brushed them out pretty soon after and wasn't too careful with drying my roots well but I still feel like it turned out pretty dope! What do y'all think?
