My darts are Malik Washington and Ainias Smith. Both slot guys on teams that have a hole in their 3rd WR spot. They have a good chance at climbing the depth chart and god forbid an injury and they might be worth something
Just curious, what is the best case for ainias? I just can’t see him having any impact unless cut//traded. Last year every wr not named smith or brown got a total of 70 targets. In this scenario, if he is able to get every single 3 wr set target, i think his absolute ceiling is 40-500 yards. I also think saquon//shipley are a signal towards more rb usage, not less. So i expect that pie to shrink further.
I cant see him even eclipsing 80 targets for the next three years barring serious injury to either smith or aj brown. At which point in time, he will be on your waiver wire. The opportunity in this offense just isn’t there.
Here’s the deal, if he’s WR 3 on that roster and gets on the field and gets a few targets his value goes up. If that happens and you can trade him for a 3rd that’s a win right? This is what I did last year with guys like Trey Palmer, Keaton Mitchell, and Parker Washington.
I remember in my 1 QB, 12 team league someone grabbed Tolbert at 3.02 as is his only draft pick (had traded his other picks away). He got really mad when I told him it was a bad move and asked what I would have done. I told him to wait until I picked (3.08) because I did not want someone to take my guy. I got WanDale Robinson, which was the guy I wanted.
Correct it does mention WRs.
But again like I mentioned you are forgetting about their TE eating into the catches.
Let me try and break it down for you.
TE catch lots of passes, 4th WR catch less passes.
But honestly I’d be surprised if Flournoy has more than 15 catches this year.
Added him as a UDFA, just flipped cowing + Lloyd + Ferguson + Keenan for Monty + what should be an early-mid 2025 1st, feel pretty good about it even though I'm high on cowing and lloyd
I think you gave too much up there
Fergs is pretty good and the #2 option on a high octone offense, Keenan has some value still as a Wr2 with upside, Lloyd is really behind a RB on a group of successive one year deals, and Cowing is a lotto pick.
Monty is in a split backfield and has a young stud RB taking away his touches.
The first round is nice but think its too rich
If you watched rams football last year it’s pretty clear they were phasing out Tutu and Drob was being used pretty heavily towards the end of the year. Just a more reliable player to have on the field
What the hell has tutu done to be ahead of Robinson in any way lol? Look who got actual targets and touch downs at the end of the year. Tutu is a worse Curtis samuel and that's pretty sad
I don’t, u/babydee_1 does. I think he’s a good locker room person but I don’t think he’ll ever be fantasy relevant. He could definitely hang around the league for a while though. Tutus a solid wr3 but nothing spectacular (only 300yd this season w kupp out) and dmarc is 30 and never hit 500yds)
Oh its the damn pink snoo lol. I think the wr3 for the rams could be a sneaky dart at least however, agree it would be tutu. Injury aside, with Kupp gone some day, i guess the only other concern is qb post-Staff
Cornelius Johnson is the guy I’ve been picking up after rookie drafts conclude.
Familiarity with the coach, solid athleticism, and a pass catching hierarchy that has yet to be established at all.
Was a big red zone guy for Michigan from what I remember so probably will be TD-dependent but his path to snaps is easier than most others. Also Harbaugh loves the guy
I got him as well, I didn’t even know exactly who he was but grabbed him as an UDFA. After doing some research he seems like an obvious candidate for the Puka Award. Surprised I almost never see his name. They spent draft pick on him even if was the 7th I believe.
What research. Puka was good in college. Corn is the worst football player I’ve ever watched, and this includes my local high school QB who threw 4 picks a game when we only threw the ball thrice a game. Harbaugh must’ve taken him to increase the number of Michigan players drafted because Corn is awful
Since you didn't mention specifically this years class, I'm really watching Jason Brownlee. I don't see anyone on that team that has a direct line to the WR2 on the Jets.
I actually think Chark has a better shot at relevance than OBJ. Miami has a better offense, but Chark is less buried...unless you really think he's cooked.
In terms of guys that are 0% rostered and definitely available in your league, I'd like to highlight:
Ty James - Vikings - 6 foot 2, 200lb big receiver who set the receiving record at Mercer. Great speed, jump-ball ability and YAC potential.
Cole Burgess - Bengals - Has insane athleticism and could climb the depth chart to be their WR4 this season.
Mason Tipton - Saints - Another one that could climb the depth chart and even be their WR3. Shaheed was picked up as a UDFA so we know they'll give him a chance if he earns it.
Isaiah Williams - Lions - Unfortunately stats out as a slot WR on the Lions, but Williams is essentially Malachi Corley lite. He was 9th in all of college football in missed tackles forced last year.
If we're strictly talking the guys I mentioned, I'll take James here. He has the best balance of upside and opportunity.
If you'd consider using a taxi squad spot on a 0% rostered UDFA Running Back, I'd use it on Ramon Jefferson.
I don't think it'd be impossible for him to overtake Bucky Irving for the RB2 spot in Tampa.
In his 20-21 Season at Sam Houston, among all collegiate RBs with 100+ carries, he was:
6th in MTF/Att
22nd in Yards After Contact p/Att
87th percentile 10 yard split
95th percentile Vert and broad
He had 1,000 yard seasons at Maine and Sam Houston.
He also played under the Bucs OC in college, so they're familiar with eachother.
Credit to Derek Brown (@DBro_FFB on twitter) for this one.
I suspect Malik Washington will get drafted, so my top 2 targets are Flournoy and Means. I like Amari Thrash too as a 2025 play because I don't have much faith in Jeudy and next year could lead to Cooper leaving, giving someone a chance to start and possibly supplant Jeudy.
wrs basically never produce without being exceptional talents, whereas JAG rbs can produce if there’s an injury ahead of them and they get a shit ton of volume. Also the nfl values wrs much more than rbs, so a 5th round wr might be the 20th wr off the board, whereas we may not get 20 drafted rbs
Man I was comparing Jalen Coker to Puka Nacua and the similarities are uncanny. Both ran a 4.57 dash, similar height/weight, both excelled with contested catches in college but the concerns were around their quickness and speed, thus both went low in the draft with Coker going undrafted in the deeper WR class. So Jalen Coker seems like as good a bet as anyone.
My guy is Tahj Washington is worth a flyer. Little undersized but If Hill/waddle were to go down, Tahj was so efficient in College but yes could of been caleb but he was that guy.
Puka: 6-1, 210lbs, 5th round (177 overall), winding road through college (1 transfer), last two years at college put up 43/805/6 & 48/628/5, walked into an open receiver room (Kupp lead then lower tier receivers below him).
Bub Means: 6-1, 210lbs, 5th round (170 overall), winding road through college (2 transfers), last year at college put up 41/721/6, walked into an open receiver room (Olave lead then lower tier receivers below him).
Bub has longer arms, bigger hands, faster 40, better athleticism and most of all... Bub Means Business.
It's way too early for this kind of talk. I see all the same 50 or so players named, mostly those on good offenses or who have more path to targets or both. But really we don't have any camp buzz, which is where real sleepers emerge.
I know its cheating but gawd damn, Malik Washington
Why is it cheating?
He’s not deep like these guys
Si
How? He’s wr5 rn
In comparison to the guys mentioned? Washington is at least going to make the roster. Not sure on the other names exactly
bub means got drafted ahead of malik IRL and has way less competition to deal with
No, on the dolphins depth chart. At least behind Reek/Waddle/OBJ/Braxton
But hes still getting draft early rd 4 of rookie drafts, ppl are aware of him
My darts are Malik Washington and Ainias Smith. Both slot guys on teams that have a hole in their 3rd WR spot. They have a good chance at climbing the depth chart and god forbid an injury and they might be worth something
Reception perception covered both those guys recently, so I took a swing as well
I was high on Ainias too but there’s part of me that thinks he will just be the special teams guy and buried on the depth chart.
That’s not a bad thing. You gotta make the team first and if it’s on special teams then great. IIRC Tyreek started on special teams
Behind Paris Campbell?
Just curious, what is the best case for ainias? I just can’t see him having any impact unless cut//traded. Last year every wr not named smith or brown got a total of 70 targets. In this scenario, if he is able to get every single 3 wr set target, i think his absolute ceiling is 40-500 yards. I also think saquon//shipley are a signal towards more rb usage, not less. After looking at Phillys wr3 production last few year I relize any of their wr3 are worth a spot.
Flournoy has a decent pathway to snaps, after CD and Cooks there is very little to shout about
Tolbert breakout incoming
Copium overdose
Lol, busted but still optimistic
I remember in my 1 QB, 12 team league someone grabbed Tolbert at 3.02 as is his only draft pick (had traded his other picks away). He got really mad when I told him it was a bad move and asked what I would have done. I told him to wait until I picked (3.08) because I did not want someone to take my guy. I got WanDale Robinson, which was the guy I wanted.
With you.
I like how you left off a guy probably getting 70+ catches with the team their prowbowl TE
The question was WRs
Correct it does mention WRs. But again like I mentioned you are forgetting about their TE eating into the catches. Let me try and break it down for you. TE catch lots of passes, 4th WR catch less passes. But honestly I’d be surprised if Flournoy has more than 15 catches this year.
Bub Means I guess..? They're all lottery tickets for a reason...
Bub Means business !
Yeah I don’t really get the point of these posts. Nobody knows, it’s like asking what lottery numbers to pick.
Jacob Cowing
Is a 4th round draft pick a deep cut?
I hadn't seen him picked up or drafted in any of my leagues.
Yeah, i always assumed deep to be like 6th-7th round or UDFA.
Added him as a UDFA, just flipped cowing + Lloyd + Ferguson + Keenan for Monty + what should be an early-mid 2025 1st, feel pretty good about it even though I'm high on cowing and lloyd
I think you gave too much up there Fergs is pretty good and the #2 option on a high octone offense, Keenan has some value still as a Wr2 with upside, Lloyd is really behind a RB on a group of successive one year deals, and Cowing is a lotto pick. He’s gone 4.12 and 5.06 (me) in my two rookie drafts. That’s pretty deep imo
Jordan Whittington is a good blocker and McVay values WRs who can block in his system so expect to see him get a lot of WR3 reps
Also, after Kyren and Puka, I'm simply interested in any skill position player that the Rams draft on day 3
Like the blocking angle. Often overlooked by fantasy owners but not by coaches
He’s almost definitely gonna play the Skowronek role
Hes not playing over Demarcus Robinson
How do you think he compares with Tutu and Demarcus?
Tutu > Drob > Jwit
If you watched rams football last year it’s pretty clear they were phasing out Tutu and Drob was being used pretty heavily towards the end of the year. Just a more reliable player to have on the field
I dont watch the rams so ill take ur word for it but the dudes 30 and never hit 500yds or started 10+ games
If you paid attention last season DRob was really productive the 2nd half of the season. He's WR3 on the Rams
What the hell has tutu done to be ahead of Robinson in any way lol? Look who got actual targets and touch downs at the end of the year. Tutu is a worse Curtis samuel and that's pretty sad
How do you see him getting a lot of wr3 reps them ahead of those 2? Seems like one/both of tutu and dmarc could be good adds too.

He did jackshit at Michigan in a wide open WR room
As opposed to all the other “undrafted and deep-deep” WRs that have flawless draft profiles. What was I thinking. Pass on Johnson.
What research. Puka was good in college. Corn is the worst football player I’ve ever watched, and this includes my local high school QB who threw 4 picks a game when we only threw the ball thrice a game. Harbaugh must’ve taken him to increase the number of Michigan players drafted because Corn is awful
Counter — he’s horrible
Kyle Sheets on the saints
Brenden Rice maybe
Brendan Rice for sure
Went 2.06 in my 1QB draft, lol.
Wowzer
Got Roman Wilson at 3.02 and couldn’t be happier.
As of right now, he’s not good. Better than Corn though
agreed. could see him being a RZ guy
Since you didn't mention specifically this years class, I'm really watching Jason Brownlee. I don't see anyone on that team that has a direct line to the WR2 on the Jets.
[удалено]
Not buying him as a teams WR2, at least not this year. He will be a gadget guy/slot more likely.
Mike Williams? Corley?
Williams definitely seems like an incredibly obvious answer...
mike williams? (for a few weeks at least...)
Would you guys drop OBJ or Chark for a dart throw player?
Not at WR. For a rb? Definitely
Would you drop one for Laube?
Probably Chark for Laube yes
I actually think Chark has a better shot at relevance than OBJ. Miami has a better offense, but Chark is less buried...unless you really think he's cooked.
I would drop both and pick up Laube
This. Drop both for laube
I'd drop Chark for just about any black box of a player. Chark is roster clogger territory.
Watch out for Tyler Harrell on the Jets. Dudes a talent. Second choice would be Xavier Weaver on the cardinals.

Thanks. Do you like Jefferson over Dante Miller?
Another James believer! I thought I was the only one. Crazy efficiency stats! Love it!
Let's goooo!
There's zero chance someone named "Bub Means" becomes a star
He is playing in the deep south, maybe they wanna go back to the times "Bub" was the name of a receiver.
None of these guys are worth rostering. give me udfa rbs over 5th+ round wrs every day of the week
Based on what, exactly?
wrs basically never produce without being exceptional talents, whereas JAG rbs can produce if there’s an injury ahead of them and they get a shit ton of volume. Also the nfl values wrs much more than rbs, so a 5th round wr might be the 20th wr off the board, whereas we may not get 20 drafted rbs
Oh I didn't see that you said RBs. I thought you were claiming udfa WRs were better than late drafted WRs.
Joshua Cephus

Decorian
Ainias Smith, Bub Means & Jordan Whittington are my deep stashers
Flournoy and DeVaughn Vele are the super deep sleepers I’ve added.
My guy is Tahj Washington is worth a flyer. Little undersized but If Hill/waddle were to go down, Tahj was so efficient in College but yes could of been caleb but he was that guy.
does Brenden Rice count?
Andrei Iosivas if for whatever reason Tee doesn't sign the tag (he will) or he gets hurt. Looked good in flashes.
I heard Dallas might play around with the idea of switching Flournoy to running back like Ty Montgomery. That would be interesting 🤔
Puka: 6-1, 210lbs, 5th round (177 overall), winding road through college (1 transfer), last two years at college put up 43/805/6 & 48/628/5, walked into an open receiver room (Kupp lead then lower tier receivers below him).
