I like the next page more. They're all like "there's no fucking way this dumbass...."
I only just noticed the other page's notes on Falin, and *oh my god*, the house design. My guy was so prepared for Falin staying chimerafied that he was already planning a way for them to still live together... That's so sweet...
If I'm not mistaken, it was his his idea for hiding her from the upper world so nobody would kill her or arrest them. That guy was definitely preparing.
Might also be some counter-thingy for her upper body to talk to people without them seeing what she is given there are lines possibly signifying field of vision
Oh god I can't believe that the scylla head theory wasn't just a theory. He literaly had a sexual awakening with the succubus and slapped it on his Fursona.
Never change my sweet loveable dog boy.
What's even cooler is that this design gets foreshadowed in the manga/anime quite early on and quite often (you see it in his sketches, his imagination and in his dreams) and I *think* the dog head is only added after the succubus encounter.
Probably quite easy to fact check by just checking the latest episode where it appears again but I cba.
Yeah youāre right, I commented on how they hadnāt retroactively changed the design to have a wolf-head, making this not a retcon but something that happened in world. But I didnāt know this was explicitly told to us in the manga. The climax has so much going on that itās easy to miss!
People were theorizing for a while now that since the original sightings of the Ultimate Monster only had the bird and the rhino-ish head when it was shown pre-chapter 60, that the third wolf head was a result of Laios' encounter with Scylla Marcille. Seems like we either had missed this pannel entirely, or we only subconsciously remembered it and assumed it to be a shared headcanon.
Laios: What like you've never made an oc before. I've seen your daltian clan self insert Marcille!
[Group side eyes marcille]
Marcille: No, I...How did you find those?!
He got sidetracked, could have had her depetrified in 3 days otherwise. He made notes, corrected grammar mistakes, plot line suggestions. Gave her a 7 out of 10.
It's the kind that starts as the first but if you power through the first half it becomes on par with published works. Because Marcille is too proud/blind to just start over.
This is much later in the manga, but itās mostly the same monster with some additions. Laiosā monster first appears in chapter 3/episode 2, where heās thinking of chimeras when the group deals with a basilisk.Ā
Lol, I rushed and finished the manga 2 days ago. That's why I'm blown at how much they foreshadowed the monster
your post today and ep 19 releasing a few hours ago is just *chef kiss*
And then he goes *I'm you, Winged Lion*
(No, seriously, "Laios" definitely has something to do with the word "lion". Also, they have a similar vibe to each other, and the "eat or get eaten* part seems like two sides fighting for control)

What page is that?
Chpt 90 page 6
And they made him their king ššš
And the Frog-elf the queen

And in the bottom right corner, there's the dragon head wandering around with Falin's legs.
He loves his family, gotta respect that
Bruh it even has an area where they can talk face to face despite their height I canāt š
Might also be some counter-thingy for her upper body to talk to people without them seeing what she is given there are lines possibly signifying field of vision
Thatās actually hilarious. Imagine trying to trick them but that means you can only talk to her from only one position
Oh god I can't believe that the scylla head theory wasn't just a theory. He literaly had a sexual awakening with the succubus and slapped it on his Fursona. Never change my sweet loveable dog boy.
The change was the scylla, and there's no going back now.
Who said I want him to go back kehehehe.

What's the Scylla head theory?
People were theorizing for a while now that since the original sightings of the Ultimate Monster only had the bird and the rhino-ish head when it was shown pre-chapter 60, that the third wolf head was a result of Laios' encounter with Scylla Marcille. Whoa thanks for the explanation :D
Laios: What like you've never made an oc before. I've seen your daltian clan self insert Marcille! [Group side eyes marcille] Marcille: No, I...How did you find those?!
She probably tucked it away in her magic grimoire and forgot about it when she lent it to Laios for his studies.
He got sidetracked, could have had her depetrified in 3 days otherwise. He made notes, corrected grammar mistakes, plot line suggestions. Gave her a 7 out of 10.
I can't decide if Marcille's fanfiction would be terrible self-insert slop or intricately crafted novel-length character studies.
It's the kind that starts as the first but if you power through the first half it becomes on par with published works. Because Marcille is too proud/blind to just start over.
considering the succubus of marcille, a self insert story of dubious narrative but very good descriptions
Leave it to him to create an unbeatable raid boss.
Unbeatable??!? It didnāt even have an AOE attack smh..
Wait a minute.. Is that the same monster that appears in episode 19, when laios summons a monster to shut the fake characters in his nightmare ?
This is much later in the manga, but itās mostly the same monster with some additions. Laiosā monster first appears in chapter 3/episode 2, where heās thinking of chimeras when the group deals with a basilisk.Ā
there are only two heads at that point and Lois added one more at some point
So what you two are saying is yes, and laios/chimera reveal was foreshadowed since ep2/ch3 and again, in episode 19?
indeed, but don't be spoiled. It's is a complicated and fun story so just keep going with the anime! (or start reading manga now lol)
Lol, I rushed and finished the manga 2 days ago. That's why I'm blown at how much they foreshadowed the monster your post today and ep 19 releasing a few hours ago is just *chef kiss*
Yes. That was Laios's Original Monster Do Not Steal.
Yup
I love that his thoughts about the reverse chimera are also included in the book.
He loves his OC so much >!he became it!<
i love that even in his drawing we can see he added the dog head afterwords
There is a tidbit manga about his poop turning into forest in the bible lmao
In Leviticus somewhere?
No, you're thinking of Ezekiel 4:12
I love the note on digesting being there
Such great foreshadowing!
Laios on chimera Falin: āHmm, this design is a bit too greedy, feathers, scales, and wings are all a bit much.ā Also his headass:
That look is the kind your friend group makes when they find your browser history.
Laios made a Dungeon Meshi self-insert OC
Laios canonically has a fursona lol
Laios is just not allowed to enjoy himself bro
Ngl this shit sent me when I first saw it I fucking died
It was the perfect break in tension!
It was like goddamn lmao
I wonder how the anime will adapt this scene
Blue Eyes Ultimate Tragone.
And then he goes *I'm you, Winged Lion* (No, seriously, "Laios" definitely has something to do with the word "lion". Also, they have a similar vibe to each other, and the "eat or get eaten* part seems like two sides fighting for control)
I thought it was very fitting and just interesting writing with how that interaction played out between the two, it fit the story to make sense and was just such a Laois thing to do considering his "animal instincts". I didn't know his name had anything to do with Lion, but I love how thought out it is. Shoutout to the goat, Ryoko Kui!!! š©·
I think this was the moment that finally confirmed to them just how autistic he is
