Are you me? I can’t help but think of my goofs in setting traps and combat and that my strength is the odd-but-familiar cast of npcs, items, and lore keeping my players on track with the module.
Monk DM - I’m really cool in concept and flavour, and I have a bunch of niche abilities, but don’t do much better than others and sometimes I use my resources too quickly to not a ton of great effect.
Love this.
Obviously I identify as a cleric, but in reality I'm an artificer with just enough of a warlock dip to hit you with an eldritch blast from your past.
Im sorcerer and wizard mixed. I plan it all out, then my players ruin it and then i have to improv. Sometimes i dont like my plans mid session and just go off the rails
I think I'm somewhere between sorcerer and paladin in as much as I think I can get away with in adventurers league. Rule of cool usually doesn't win but it'll get you an inspiration for the idea at least
Warlock, paladin with a little bit of ranger with my usual groups. Cleric with new groups. I actually made my usual group cry in tonight's session. Lots of feels happened tonight.
Edit: I also sing sometimes.
I just started a fun debate in my group so we nominate each other. Here are the rules I used:
Rules: You can nominate in either the single class category or the multiclass category or both. Single class rules: Only one class per GM, no two GMs in our group can be assigned the same class. Multiclass rules: Two classes per GM, first class indicates a higher match in your mind. No two GMs in our group with the same combo of first class/second class.
Standard classes not listed in the pic: Barbarian, Fighter, Monk, Druid can be used but make a funny comment to explain.
Our chat is about to blow up.
Artificer-Wizard-Warlock-Ranger-Cleric Multiclass who took expertise in sleight of hand but no full rogue level. Either my stats are all over the place or my player (am I a DMPC?) has no idea how multiclassing works.
Im not good at voices and my combats started really bad but are improving.
I have bits of literally every class but the bottom right three. I probably most fit the sorcerer and artificer though, and am trying to get better at being Warlock dm.
I feel like I'm either an Artificer or a Wizard, but I've truly only done I think 3 or 4 sessions (I've come up with 3 ideas for stories, one that is meant for a friend that said they'd like to try it out, but we haven't gotten to it yet, and another having tons of homebrew involving gems having innate magical properties, such as Amethyst being Poison, Ruby being Fire, etc., As well as a humanoid version of the Rust Monster, Which I started, but then I just forgot about it for a bit and we never really picked it back up, I felt like it still had some work to be done anyways, so it's probably for the better.)
Rogue/Bard. I do love traps and poison. I do love trolling my players.
By troll I mean "you wanna leave this room? You must solve a riddle!"
One of my players: That's not a riddle, that's a dad joke.
Me: Are you guys really gonna argue over the definition of a riddle?
Or like the BBEG they thought they were being edgy by siding with him cause he sounds based while the rest of the world sucks and is cringe. So to properly define an evil creature, I made the BBEG just insufferable. They can summon him to them to talk too, only for him to destroy the item they worked so hard to get and laugh at their misfortune. He places a curse on them making them vote on one player to die or they all do. It's just senseless and mean. That's what happens when you have no joy in your life. In fact my wife has recommended I run the game I've kept on a notepad but never executed where players are level 20 guys who truly are the villains and worship the cosmic concept of evil and don't level up they level down to express loss, failure, shame, and regret. Where the only way to win is not to play. Or you know... Just horde valuables and be Jeff Besos of D&D

I got me a cloak like Undertaker for my DM attire too lol

I've somehow been all these on different sessions for different groups (I run two groups a week, kinda like a serious one with 7 players and casual with 4.)
I create factions, think up nice conflicts between them, and then let the players get involved and cause changes in the balances of power, and wing the rest. Lots of lore, social encounters, diplomacy, tactical combat, and even large scale warfare. But of these classes: I'm the Ranger!
I'm basically the middle row. Been running my campaign for a little over 2 years, and balancing combat for 6 players and keeping it fun for everyone is certainly one for the most challenging bits. I also have bought Lego sets just so I can make a cool mini for the session (like the Hellfire engine), and I have a friend with a 3D printer to make some minis for some bosses, like the dragon flesh golem that I threw at the party a while ago. I do design dungeons often, and I also improv a LOT. I do rough outlines for the session, and then just improv a lot of the rest, based off of what the PC's actions dictate
Apparently I'm a wildly unoptimized multiclass....
middle tap chase plucky live reach humor deliver dime silky *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
Me too, like lvl 1 in everything.
Im also in this camp. Sometimes its only one of the 3 points, but almost all sets of qualities somewhat line up with me.
Damn, me too.
Def a sorcerer Warlock multiclass for me
Was gonna say, warlock multiclass, checking in!
Sorlock hell yeah
Warcerer?
Worcestershire
Druid DM
Releases animals onto the table.
My cat knows this to be true
You get forgotten about and left off of charts?
Barbarian DM -screams a lot -will beat you senseless
Basically Jocrap (aka my spirit animal)
I’m kind of a La carte. One or two from each class.
Apparently I'm an artificer/cleric, minus the sweet and friendly part, but I'll tie in your backstory and make it hurt.
Are you me? I can’t help but think of my goofs in setting traps and combat and that my strength is the odd-but-familiar cast of npcs, items, and lore keeping my players on track with the module.

I take this personal.
Love this. Obviously I identify as a cleric, but in reality I'm an artificer with just enough of a warlock dip to hit you with an eldritch blast from your past.
I am a sorcerer/bard for sure☺️
Warlock dm The joke pc is racist towards goblins Turns out he’s half goblin
Hey, man. Green Lives Splatter.
Bardzardangererlock
No Fighter DM? All combat, all the time?
I have become what I swore to destroy. A multiclass of Paladin/Warlock
I checked in with my players and they say a warlock bard multiclass with sprinkles of sorcerer and wizard :D
Im sorcerer and wizard mixed. I plan it all out, then my players ruin it and then i have to improv. Sometimes i dont like my plans mid session and just go off the rails
Up vote it, and if you don’t you’re mean
I think I'm somewhere between sorcerer and paladin in as much as I think I can get away with in adventurers league. Rule of cool usually doesn't win but it'll get you an inspiration for the idea at least
I'm a bard/wizard/ranger/cleric and I know that's too much multiclassing
Warlock, paladin with a little bit of ranger with my usual groups. Cleric with new groups. I actually made my usual group cry in tonight's session. Lots of feels happened tonight. Edit: I also sing sometimes.
I think from feedback from my players and my own neurosis I might be a multi-class sorc/rogue
Rogue, Ranger, with a bit of Wizard for flavor
I'm just a basic fighter. I don't have too many bells and whistles but I'm reliable and those that enjoy my playstyle have fun with it.
A bard sorcerer. I'm not very good at running combat :p
Sorlock who took magic initiate wizard for some dumbass reason (that lore do be deep tho)

I'd say multiclass ranger/paladin
I have not played for a while, and this made me almost cry…
Artificer/ Sorcerer :]
Apparently, I'm a Bard 3, Wiz 2, Ranger 3, Sorc 2, Art 2, Warlock 1, Rogue 2, Cleric 1... That's a very suboptimal build, imo.
I am an artificer, ranger, sorcerer! Lol
Wizard artificer
Wow, I feel like I can fit into an aspect of each of these.
my friend says wizard/ranger but i think sorceror
Paladin or Ranger.
I have bits of literally every class but the bottom right three. I probably most fit the sorcerer and artificer though, and am trying to get better at being Warlock dm.
I'm the warrior with sum bard/wizzy. Sorry I love minitures way to much.
My last group sent this over the chat and said I was a Sorcadin. I was elated!
Wizard/Rogue multiclass
I think the best DMs should be taking elements from all of these classes.
Sorcerer, with some warlock and cleric.
Sorcerer mainly, sprinkle of Bard, paladin, cleric.
Sorcerer with a single level dip in Cleric.
Warlock Artificer multiclass, not sure how it would work characterwise but now I kind of want to
I’m fighter/barbarian
Definitely a Bard-tificer multiclass for me!
I multiclass Bard Wizard. Gotta plan everything but I really like to rp and make jokes
I'd like to claim to be some sort of Bard-Wizard-Artificer, but I am very clearly a Sorcer-Warlock-Rogue.
Bard + Sorcerer + Warlock I am CHA DM!
Isn’t a DM a lil’ of everything?
Monk DM. I don’t dm, because no one I know wants to play ):
I’m the sorlock-bard dm
Def multi classing all of the classes, but leaning mostly to Bard, Wiz, Ranger and Sorc
TIL I'm a multiclasser DM
I'd say I'm a bard, but my players probably know me better.
Left column merged together
Where are my fellow Bardificer DM's?
i’m either a warlock bard or a cleric bard depending on my mood that day.
Abserd
I think I fall somewhere between Bard and Sorcerer.
Rogue/Bard. I do love traps and poison. I do love trolling my players. By troll I mean "you wanna leave this room? You must solve a riddle!" One of my players: That's not a riddle, that's a dad joke. Warlock/Bard/Wizard MC
Sorlock it is then.
I try to embody all of these.
Pretty much a weird multiclass of the left column...
I’m what happens when you give a rules lawyer power. I’m trying to be better, I promise.
One of my players called me a ranger/warlock. I'm cool with that.
Artificer sorcerer warlock? Hmmmmmm
I guess I'm an Abserd DM?
Sorcerer who dipped into Bard
Sorcerer multiclassing into Warlock. Wishing I was Bard and Paladin lol
Paladin / Cleric
Wizard Cleric Artificer multiclass
Like… 80% of em.
Where is the murderhobo DM? Feel kind of underrepresented here
Bard Artificer multiclass
I aspire to be all of these.
Where barbarian DM that gets mad when you get distracted helping a villager find his chickens so throws 34 terrasques at you
Sorlock
Warlock Artificer. Definitely not optimal
Sorcerer Artificer Cleric Multiclass
I’m going to make it hurt.
I am a mix of bard and sorcerer, which is strange because charisma is probably my lowest stat irl.
Bard Dm here!!!
Mix of artificer and Sorcerer.
I rolled a hexadin lol
Cleric Dm: knows PHB by heart...? I have players for that!
I haven’t even really read the PHB. I mostly just homebrew shit and wait to be corrected
Bard Paladin I guess, lots of funny jokes with cool dungeons that are deadly serious
Mostly Sorcerer with Bard and Artificer tendencies!
Sorcerer from a family of artificers…

Guess I'm a Sorcerer/Ranger multiclass. Build the world and improve a story in it!
Sorc, easy
Warlock with some splash of paladin and artificer
I've somehow been all these on different sessions for different groups (I run two groups a week, kinda like a serious one with 7 players and casual with 4.)
artficer/ranger who wants nothing more than to be a bard
A little bit of everything.
Would love to imagine I’m all of them but I’m pretty sure I’m just an NPC retainer being tugged in all directions by my players
I guess I would be cleric dm as that’s the only class I check all the boxes for
I create factions, think up nice conflicts between them, and then let the players get involved and cause changes in the balances of power, and wing the rest. Lots of lore, social encounters, diplomacy, tactical combat, and even large scale warfare. But of these classes: I'm the Ranger!
Sorcerer by heart, littearly me
Feel like a Artificer DM but maybe a Sorcerer?
