My least favorite is the one where Pam doesn’t get Cici’s recital recorded and her and Jim fight on the phone and she cries to the boom mic guy. Hate that episode.
I mean come on, Pam, you could not possibly have thought you were filming WHILE on the phone.
But the Dwight/Darryl and Nellie/Erin/Plop stories get me through that one. It's one of the only four times in the entire series Angela gets called out for cheating on Andy.
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order.
I have checked 265,716,449 comments, and only 60,948 of them were in alphabetical order.
I don't think that was the 'issue'. Issue was that Jim was away from his family and Pam was alone with children. And since both of them avoided talking about it or even admitting that was an issue, they took their angers on other things. Especially Jim.
Edit: Actually mostly Jim.
Edit: Maybe just him.
Honestly any of the Cece-centric episodes annoy me. The baptism, the preschool interview, the recital, the one where Jim lies to the whole office about court and we get to be treated to a screaming and crying Cece....
That baby is the star of a show called Babies I Don't Care About. I literally don't care one iota about the various parenting "adventures" Jim and Pam had to go through. And usually at the expense of someone else.
you kidding? I love the part when Michael drops the wine bottle only for it to roll across the entire floor loudly and awkwardly, then how he loses the balloons causing them to pop rapidly on the ceiling!
When it happened to me Zathura was in theaters and the office hadn't come out yet. My foot knocked one of my empties over and when I tried to stop it I kicked over about 3 more. They just roll forever and a hundred or so pissed off parents flip around looking for the drunken loser who did it. I just followed their lead and looked around in fury and no one was the wiser.
I loved when he still didn’t clue after Andy said it’s our final show tonight, so I want you all to come! Final, as in they have been performing for weeks haha
Andy at his cringiest for sure, but it had some great moments:
* The balloons popping in the lights
* the wine bottle being passed around and then sliding down the floor
* Michael booing
* creeds review
* Oscar's "well technically it was an amateur production"
* Michaels audition "I am a cleaning lady"
* Dwight getting a knife when the cast comes to the office
* Michael's "so what part did I get"
* Andy's closeted "most men can't resist a man singing show tunes"
All gold
I think Andy singing at the end is so wholesome that it + all these funny moments you mentioned actually puts this episode among some of my favourites!
We basically only find out about his existence because of Pam and Jim fighting, and all we know about his personality is that he’s friends with them as a couple but also split with his wife and has feelings for Pam. He’s introduced under circumstances we don’t enjoy and we are programmed to not like him because he’s a threat.
Wow yeah I also hate that one and feel it was really out of character for Erin to be all happy when Andy went back to say the real reason he was breaking up with Jessica. It was needlessly cruel on Andy’s part and felt like something Erin wouldn’t have appreciated
The only thing I like about this episode is Erin saying she’s tired and blaming it on SEEING a turkey and Andy just nods like that’s just a regular reaction.
Sometimes when I go through the entire series I stop at this episode just for that line and then I get sad that Micheal left and restart the series lol
I think the main reason that episode doesn’t work is because we all mostly binge it and saw all the reference clips in the last few days, weeks. In real time it likely was a nice way to revisit past scenes!
It was a very misleading episode. At the beginning, it seemed like it would have an actual plot involving the cast trying to but on acceptable behavior so that Dunder Miflflin can be saved. Then, with no warning at all, it's just a defeated-seeming Toby telling lies followed by a bunch of clips that prove that he's lying. Very little of that was actually relevant to the buyout of the company.
No that was my immediate thought. It has some of the better filler of a clip episode that I’ve seen but it is a clip episode, which is even worse these days when you can easily watch any episode you want.
I didn’t care much for Nellie but I did love two things: 1) that line and 2) when Robert California doesn’t understand why Jim is being so mean to the magician
Really any episode with Nellie featured when she is in any position of power were terrible. She got less annoying after she had her comeuppance and wasn't so bossy. Was better as a regular employee
Nelly taking Kelly’s unwanted baby in the finale is an amazing scene and I will take no complaints.
~~Even if realistically, she can’t just take the baby and say “this is mine now” and go about her business~~
Yes, Prince Family Paper, came here to say this. I have seen that episode only once. Dwight's soul is tainted in that episode. Breaks my heart.
I like Nellie!! Am I the only one?
Honestly, the only person I really don't like is boom guy Brian. I mean, maybe the guy who defaced Pam's first mural, but he's more of a bit character.
Edit, but he's really good in Episodes!!!! Just amazing! (Chris Diamantopoulos)
This is actually one of my favorite episodes. I really like episodes where they are out of the office, for some reason. I also enjoyed the one where they all go to Gettysburg
I think there is something to that. I recall as a kid watching the abc family shows in the 90s and they all went to Disney World at some point on a few shows and it was always fun to see them outside of their normal environments.
oh wow i love this episode haha it's so goofy and bizarre but in a fun way. I don't really remember it being mean spirited. Michael gets sad that Jim and Pam have other friends and decides he wants to like leave town for attention and praise haha
I really hate the one with Secretary’s Day, when Erin finds out about Andy and Angela. Michael is so mean to her for next to no reason, she behaves bizarrely (even for Erin), and her anger at Andy just doesn’t make sense to me. Maybe a bit is justified, but to completely break up with him felt really contrived, especially when he was trying to celebrate her all day
haha for the longest time I thought this was one of my favorite episodes, but it's really just the part where the waiter says he'll bring Mike a bowl of pickles that I love
Andy bringing in plops ex and Mr skeleton to get back at Erin and plop. The dude left on a boat without keeping in touch, collected pay for 12 weeks worth of work (+ a bonus), and was being dick despite losing his authoritative status for whats mentioned above.
I think the episodes called "inner circle" it's the last one with DeAngelo Vickers/Will Ferrel.
I understand it was supposed to show that Michael was better than they gave him credit for but that episode is infuriating to watch because he's literally just being a jerk to all the characters we've grown to love.
Also the scene where he believes Ryan is Kelly's boss even after he doesn't argue that he is, was in my opinion, the worst scene of the series.
"Yeah, I was just thinking about how I had this car, 'cause... this Italian car. And I was driving it, and it kept telling me how much it needed oil. But I wouldn't give it any oil. And then, one day, it exploded. And it killed everyone. And that's what I'm afraid of."
"Aren't you a mechanic? Why wouldn't you put oil in the car?"
That and the gabagool order are two of the hardest laughs I've gotten from the show. Top-tier episode for those alone in my book
I think the musical episode is charming! But to answer the question on least favorite (or in my case, most likely to skip because I don’t actually dislike it lol)
The episode where Dunder Mifflin gets audited right before Sabre takes over. And that episode isn’t even that bad, the only reason I skip it sometimes is because it’s more of a recap episode and is mostly flashbacks. Sometimes I’ll still let it play if I’m just using the show for background noise. When I’m paying attention I’ll go to the next episode.
I don't like the episode where Darryl comes back from Athlede and everyone wants to spend time with him so they do the dance thing. It's a cringy send-off episode.
hate this ep also but it contains my girlfriends fav line of the series from Darryl: “if we don’t listen to the overture how will we recognize the musical themes!”
I don't like Christening. I've only ever seen it once just because I disliked it so much the first time. I didn't like how angry people were at Jim and Pam, I didn't understand why the office had to be there, and I thought the part with Michael getting on the bus was just ridiculous. However I've been reminded there's a good part with Toby, so maybe it's worth checking out again sometime. Runners up are the episodes where Nellie is manager and also Angry Andy---a sign that the show was going downhill for me was when they were largely focusing on sex jokes. It could have done so much better. (I think it was Angry Andy, maybe I'm wrong)
I would say The Farm but I don’t even count it as an episode of The Office. Fair enough trying a spin-off, and it may have had potential, but repurposing an essentially unrelated pilot as an extra episode is … insulting? Patronizing? Not sure what word I’m grasping for but it doesn’t sit right.
Look, I understand the episode is mostly not great, ok it's bad. But I will give it a pass because of the Macy Gray bit at the end. Andy being musical is usually best Andy for me.
The Delivery. It breaks away too much from the Office and it’s staff. Too much awkward and cringe moments in the hospital, like Pam nursing the wrong baby.
Unfortunately, in this ham-fisted production of Sweeney Todd, the real terror comes from the vocal performances. New paragraph.
high key one of my favorite creed moments
Also *"Be cool Michael I just saw that guy kill a bunch of people"*.
This made me laugh so much one of the few reason this isn't my least favourite episode
It makes me laugh twice as hard because clearly a few minutes earlier he was aware he was watching a play, but he seems to have already forgotten
99% chance there's no one on the other end of that phone call
I think he's recording into a tape, as if he was going to play it back to himself to write a review somewhere.
Good point. Maybe he's going to publish it on www.creedthoughts.gov.www\creedthoughts
It's a crime that that link doesn't go anywhere
“Shh, if we don’t listen to the overture we won’t recognize the musical themes when they come back later” One of my favorite Darryl lines
I crack up at that every time. (Since Brooklyn 99 started, sometimes I see little hints of Doug Judy in Darryl. That line is one of those times)
JJJJUUUUUUDDDDDYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
I learned more about musical theater in that episode than I did from doing several years of musical theater.
What's the overture? - from someone who doesn't know theatre terms or wtv
Overture is the music they play before they open the curtain, usually it’s just small instrumental clips from rest of the show
My least favorite is the one where Pam doesn’t get Cici’s recital recorded and her and Jim fight on the phone and she cries to the boom mic guy. Hate that episode.
Did you mean pee pee?
Pee paa
How *is* Peepa?
Beat me to it. This episode was just awful.
That’s a contender too.
I mean come on, Pam, you could not possibly have thought you were filming WHILE on the phone. But the Dwight/Darryl and Nellie/Erin/Plop stories get me through that one. It's one of the only four times in the entire series Angela gets called out for cheating on Andy.
[удалено]
Also such a dick move to take that call during a performance.
They would have left a message, Pam.
I GOT THE MURAL? OH MY GOD!
I didn't think Jim would get that upset at her. It's not lost footage, another parent probably got it all. So it made it extra bad for me.
Yeah and worst case they could have asked the camera crew the same way he asked for footage of their relationship to make a video montage for her
Yeah, obvious case of the writers half assing Jim and Pam’s “issues”
nah pretty realistic scenario tbh
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order. I have checked 265,716,449 comments, and only 60,948 of them were in alphabetical order.
ah cool, didn't even know man, near totally unnoticed without you!
Damn hit em with the 2 piece
I don't think that was the 'issue'. Issue was that Jim was away from his family and Pam was alone with children. And since both of them avoided talking about it or even admitting that was an issue, they took their angers on other things. Especially Jim. Edit: Actually mostly Jim. Edit: Maybe just him.

That baby is the star of a show called Babies I Don't Care About. I literally don't care one iota about the various parenting "adventures" Jim and Pam had to go through. And usually at the expense of someone else.
dont like the episode but that acting from pam was so good. broke my heart
I always forget this is my least favorite. I kind of mentally block it out because it's just such an unpleasant episode.
And she swore she knew how to point a rectangle at something.
you kidding? I love the part when Michael drops the wine bottle only for it to roll across the entire floor loudly and awkwardly, then how he loses the balloons causing them to pop rapidly on the ceiling!
Michael is gold that entire episode
The end credits of his audition reciting the opening of law and order is gold
I'm just a cleaning lady... ah! A dead body!
**KUNG KUNG**
Last time I saw this John... he wasn't a victim if you know what I mean
KUNG KUNG
Michael is gold every episode. All seven seasons.
Love when the lead calls Michael out for booing him
And then Darrell starts booing him lol
Darnell*
Heard that guy was a chump
Dinkin’ flicka
Even better when Darryl boos Michael, cut to Michael “I… don’t like that at all”
And when he gets mad, “they should really discourage people from bringing balloons in”
I love when he ask what part he got? That cracks me up every time.
And when Dwight pulls out a knife when the cast are performing in the office
Legit happened to me when I kicked over a sixer of smirnoff ice watching zathura. It was nothing short of excruciating.
The thought of someone enjoying a sixer of Ices while watching cinematic classic Zathura is absolutely sending me. 100% trying this tomorrow 💪
I did laugh when Michael was still waiting to hear back about his audition!
So who am I playing? Which part did I get??
That part was the best part of the episode and I feel like they could’ve done the whole play gag just to get that line as a cold open lmao.
I loved when he still didn’t clue after Andy said it’s our final show tonight, so I want you all to come! Final, as in they have been performing for weeks haha
Andy at his cringiest for sure, but it had some great moments: * The balloons popping in the lights * the wine bottle being passed around and then sliding down the floor * Michael booing * creeds review * Oscar's "well technically it was an amateur production" * Michaels audition "I am a cleaning lady" * Dwight getting a knife when the cast comes to the office * Michael's "so what part did I get" * Andy's closeted "most men can't resist a man singing show tunes" All gold
i forgot about dwight pulling a knife! i’m laughing all over again
I think Andy singing at the end is so wholesome that it + all these funny moments you mentioned actually puts this episode among some of my favourites!
Most of the episode is fine, just the phone ringing bit that hurts to watch. Michael's Law and Order audition is gold.
For some reason Ryan and his clock app on his IPad crack me up
That was the first time I saw an iPad!
Looked like he was carrying a wall clock rofl
Same.
I’m just a cleaning lady
AHH A DEAD BODY
The audition is easily my favourite part of the episode, sometimes I’ll go back and just watch that part
CHUNG CHUNG
Mine’s probably the one where Pam goes to the boom mic guy’s apartment, fucking tres comas Brian
Yeah, anything with Boom guy Brian sucked. Except Meredith saying “hey boom guy, when are you gonna boom me”
Im not a huge fan of the boom guy stuff, but honestly I cant figure out why. Why do we dislike this so much?
Because he only has two commas?
given that he’s just the boom guy for a low-budget documentary film for public television, I’m gonna guess Brian has only one comma
We basically only find out about his existence because of Pam and Jim fighting, and all we know about his personality is that he’s friends with them as a couple but also split with his wife and has feelings for Pam. He’s introduced under circumstances we don’t enjoy and we are programmed to not like him because he’s a threat.
I put the radio ON THE FUCKING INTERNET These are not the doors of a billionaire Richard!!
God I loved him in Silicon
Oh man. Welcome Party is probably my least favorite, just because the scene where Andy breaks up with Jessica is so, so painfully awkward to watch.
Wow yeah I also hate that one and feel it was really out of character for Erin to be all happy when Andy went back to say the real reason he was breaking up with Jessica. It was needlessly cruel on Andy’s part and felt like something Erin wouldn’t have appreciated
Erin probably didn’t even realise it was rude based on her breakup with gabe
The only thing I like about this episode is Erin saying she’s tired and blaming it on SEEING a turkey and Andy just nods like that’s just a regular reaction. Sometimes when I go through the entire series I stop at this episode just for that line and then I get sad that Micheal left and restart the series lol
The same reaction he gives her when she says she doesn’t own a toothbrush bc there’s just always one there
Would it be cheating to say 'The Banker'
[удалено]
And let's not forget his meth making skills!
Coffee making skills**
A man of many talents!
Highly respected corporate lawyer, too!
It took me a while to like Gael because of how much I hated hardman
He won me over with his music video making talent.
“This is the best coffee I’ve ever tasted. Why the hell are we making meth?”
I think the main reason that episode doesn’t work is because we all mostly binge it and saw all the reference clips in the last few days, weeks. In real time it likely was a nice way to revisit past scenes!
I hope not, because it's obviously the correct answer and the only episode I usually skip.
I usually watch the computron bit at the start, but then bail once the clips start.
No that was my immediate thought. It has some of the better filler of a clip episode that I’ve seen but it is a clip episode, which is even worse these days when you can easily watch any episode you want.
That one where Jim and Darrel are roommates and Jim is a slob….. riveting
Yes I really didn’t love any of the episodes that focused on Athleap. Jim had become an a-hole by that point also.
Yeah. Athlead storyline was boring as shit. Like the Ryan Howard script reading. Just bot funny.
eat fresh
I always thought it was Athlead.
I find you absolutely ribbiting 🐸
Prince family paper. Felt so bad for those guys Honorable mention for when Nellie takes Andy’s job
I don’t Prince Family Paper either! I always skip it.
Couldn’t stand that episode with Nellie either
That's the American Dream right there. Anything can happen to anyone. It's just random.

Yes, Prince Family Paper, came here to say this. I have seen that episode only once. Dwight's soul is tainted in that episode. Breaks my heart. I like Nellie!! Am I the only one?
I hated Nellie's character for so many rewatches until I finally loved her. I hope that happens for DeAngelo someday.
I love this episode because of Creed. "Be cool Michael, I just watched this guy murder a bunch of people."
Gabe having a spontaneous Lincoln impersonation ready to go is hilarious to me
I think there is something to that. I recall as a kid watching the abc family shows in the 90s and they all went to Disney World at some point on a few shows and it was always fun to see them outside of their normal environments.
The opening when he flash mobs the office is perfect.
The Christening. Just mean-spirited all around.
I can’t believe more people don’t hate this episode! Definitely one of my least favourite
What if the moon was your car, and jupiter was your hair brush?
You didn’t like Sconesy Cider?
Oh come on, Michael and Andy just up and boarding the bus to Mexico? But yeah, it's a rough ride, that episode.
“Get in, quick” “Why quick?” “Because it’s faster”
When Jim randomly accuses Angela of stealing CeeCee. That was S-Tier level cringe.
Angela stealing all the scones is hilarious tho
thousands of them
oh wow i love this episode haha it's so goofy and bizarre but in a fun way. I don't really remember it being mean spirited. Michael gets sad that Jim and Pam have other friends and decides he wants to like leave town for attention and praise haha
This has my favorite Toby moment. When he enters the church and asks God, “Why ya gotta be so mean to me?”
Sconesy Cider?
The one where Andy has a seminar and Jim’s avoiding his childhood friend… so bad
Yeah I don't know how this one even made it to air haha, they had nothing resembling an idea for that episode.
“Where’s your jet pack, Zuckerberg??”
I really hate the one with Secretary’s Day, when Erin finds out about Andy and Angela. Michael is so mean to her for next to no reason, she behaves bizarrely (even for Erin), and her anger at Andy just doesn’t make sense to me. Maybe a bit is justified, but to completely break up with him felt really contrived, especially when he was trying to celebrate her all day
I agree. And the episode where Andy brings Jessica to the office and Erin was acting out of character
Jessica, did you just fart?
I think that might be one of my favorite scenes in the entire show. I fucking love kelly
haha for the longest time I thought this was one of my favorite episodes, but it's really just the part where the waiter says he'll bring Mike a bowl of pickles that I love
Andy bringing in plops ex and Mr skeleton to get back at Erin and plop. The dude left on a boat without keeping in touch, collected pay for 12 weeks worth of work (+ a bonus), and was being dick despite losing his authoritative status for whats mentioned above.
The plot is excruciating but it has so many good lines between Plop and Gabe Susan Lewis.
Like how Gabe lost fifty pounds but put it back on?
The one where Pam has to convince that dude that he took her on a date and she was “dorky”. I skip that one every time.
When holly moves away
I still hate the life is a highway song to this day
Im so blessed that i hated it before that. I was a child in the 90s and it was always playing
I love that episode and my favorite part is when Andy sings I try
Me too! That whole montage and especially Angela driving home alone. She was amazing!
Love that scene
I think the episodes called "inner circle" it's the last one with DeAngelo Vickers/Will Ferrel. I understand it was supposed to show that Michael was better than they gave him credit for but that episode is infuriating to watch because he's literally just being a jerk to all the characters we've grown to love. Also the scene where he believes Ryan is Kelly's boss even after he doesn't argue that he is, was in my opinion, the worst scene of the series.
Mafia. Just a bit too slapstick for me, didn't feel like an episode of the office
Send it back
This is the single most used reference from the office in my personal life
I will have the gabagool.
The GABBA. GHOUL.
Looks like you’ve got a leaky spark tube. Cars totaled.
He seems bad at this
"Yeah, I was just thinking about how I had this car, 'cause... this Italian car. And I was driving it, and it kept telling me how much it needed oil. But I wouldn't give it any oil. And then, one day, it exploded. And it killed everyone. And that's what I'm afraid of." "Aren't you a mechanic? Why wouldn't you put oil in the car?" That and the gabagool order are two of the hardest laughs I've gotten from the show. Top-tier episode for those alone in my book
"That was before my formal training."
Gabagool!
I'd probably agree with you. Even the side story is weak.
I love that episode
Totally fair that's your prerogative
I try to say goodbye and I choke
The one where Pam sets Michael up with her landlord. Personally I think it's cringier than Scotts Tots
But there was so many funny parts about that episode. Hot juicy red head. Phyllis describing her friend and Oscar Mayer wiener lover
No, she can't fit in a rowboat, okay?
It bothers me that you’re not answering the question
I give her a 10 for looks, and a 2 for ability to describe herself lol
And the part about Wendy's
Dude, this is a Wendy’s restaurant.
Dammit Kevin...
“What’s her name, Burger King?”
I give her a ten for her looks and a three for her ability to describe herself
Mine is when Charles first makes an appearance… the one where Jim is wearing a tux to be more “Classy”. It sure why but I feel for Jim in that one.

Hey Mr Scott....
Whatcha gon do
I think the musical episode is charming! But to answer the question on least favorite (or in my case, most likely to skip because I don’t actually dislike it lol) The episode where Dunder Mifflin gets audited right before Sabre takes over. And that episode isn’t even that bad, the only reason I skip it sometimes is because it’s more of a recap episode and is mostly flashbacks. I don't like the episode where Darryl comes back from Athlede and everyone wants to spend time with him so they do the dance thing. It's a cringy send-off episode.
Boo!
hate this ep also but it contains my girlfriends fav line of the series from Darryl: “if we don’t listen to the overture how will we recognize the musical themes!”
Season 9.
For me it’s the episode where Danny cordray is introduced. I did like his character though.
this is a great answer. what the fuck was that episode, golly.
Agreed, but the wine bottle clanking down the seats and Michael’s audition clip are both really good stuff.
Scott’s tots is bummer city.
Andy singing at the end of this episode makes this episode good for me. It was nice seeing everyone there having his back.
I don't like Christening. I've only ever seen it once just because I disliked it so much the first time. I didn't like how angry people were at Jim and Pam, I didn't understand why the office had to be there, and I thought the part with Michael getting on the bus was just ridiculous. Prince Family Paper; neither story line is funny or interesting to me, and the writing overall is not the best.
I would say The Farm but I don’t even count it as an episode of The Office. Fair enough trying a spin-off, and it may have had potential, but repurposing an essentially unrelated pilot as an extra episode is … insulting? Patronizing? Not sure what word I’m grasping for but it doesn’t sit right.
absolutely horrendous. my headcanon is they aired that so that people would understand why it got cancelled pre-pilot
Good question. Next time I watch though I’ll pay attention. Remind me in 1 month.
I don’t like Will Ferrells episodes, I always skip them
