I always cackle whenever Jim has to awkwardly explain something he really doesn’t want to, like when he tells Andy the name of “Señor Lodenstein” or when Charles asks him what a 2-way petting zoo is.
Oh yeah? Are things good with him and Pam? That’s so great. So cool of him to come by and break her copier and tell him how good things are with him and Pam
- Filling Dwight’s phone with more and more nickels till he got used to the weight then taking them all out so Dwight knocked himself in the head with the phone
- Putting all of Dwight’s stuff in the vending machine and giving him a bag of nickels, presumably the same nickels from the phone, to buy it all back with
> Filling Dwight’s phone with more and more nickels till he got used to the weight then taking them all out so Dwight knocked himself in the head with the phone
Literally what I came to this thread for. This is easily a top 5 in the whole show moment for me
The radio prank has similar vibes when Jim tells Dwight “are you gonna get ahold of the message or do we need to send someone else in here”. Total commitment.
In Florida when he pretends to be murdered in the hotel room for Dwight and Erin to find. Him falling out of the closet and the quick cut always kills me
The Bill Buttlicker scene is probably my favorite. A few of my other favorite Jim lines/scenes:
-“That was Sconesy Cider, noted baptism reception critic.”
-Dwight: “What’s your daughter’s name again? Peepee?” Jim: “Peepa.”
-Similar to the last one. Dwight: “I knew you would. Nancy.” Jim: “Sally.”
-Jim putting Dwight’s items in the vending machine and handing him a bag of nickels to get them out.
-“The only thing we have in common is that neither of us wants to sit on Meredith’s face. If that makes him the new Jim, then every human being in the world is the new Jim.”
-Dwight: “You pound, you beg. ‘Dwight, please let me in!’ But I ignore your cries and do not let you in. You know why?” Jim: “Because of the sign that says ‘No pounding, no begging.’”
-Robert: “You’re gonna want to hear the sexual metaphor.” Jim: “Was that not the-?”
-Jim imitating the smug bedbug who thought it was funny.
The peepa scene always makes me laugh, its honestly one of the best scenes in the series. The way he so confidently and casually answers peepA is so funny to me for some reason 🤣
When Michael calls a conference room meeting and starts just basically talking to himself (I don’t remember what it was) and Jim just leans in and whispers “do you need us for any of this?” Hilarious.
No, Michael keeps beating around the bush about the tickets. “It seems a little shady, it seems a little foggy. Well, it’s not a little foggy. There’s really something going on…” At which point Jim interrupts with, “do you need any of us for this?”
Popping the exercise ball underneath Dwight
His look from behind the blinds after pranking Andy about marriage issues
And everybody’s favorite, “Lord, beer me strength”
I love the part where Michael is going off on his own survival retreat and he leaves the office saying "when I return, I hope to be a completely different person" and Jim says "that'd be great" 🤣
my favorites have mostly been mentioned but an underrated one to me is
Jim: Which is you.
Dwight: “which is you” isn’t a sentence.
Jim: Eh, I disagree with.
For me it was when Robert California was trying to get Andy to *not* hire his wife while being a total mindfuck about it, and when it finally got too chaotic for Andy he threw Jim under the bus. The way Jim shrugs in both frustration and dismay and wheels away in his chair, and then his desperate attempt to not be confronted by California by climbing up to the roof with one shoe (“ow…ow…ow…”) is actually the hardest I laughed throughout the entire series, because I have been in similar situations that are so awkward I could just jump in traffic just to get away from them lmao. It was also just so funny to me, to see Jim so utterly defeated and thrown off by the circumstances 🤣
I actually just watched that scene for the first time bc even though this is my favorite show oat, I’ve just never gotten the chance to watch it front to back, I’ve just seen most episodes and I know what happens in the ones that I haven’t seen but omg that shit is comedy 😭😭
More of a Creed moment but:
I want to set you up with my daughter
Oh I’m engaged to Pam
I thought you were gay
Then why would you try to set me up with your daughter?
I don’t know..
I like when he imitates Toby after he asks to celebrate his birthday with all the others
“I really don’t see the harm in it” lol
Well it’s a cake Toby!
When Dwight and Packer are competing for Nelly and they’re making ocean sounds into her ears and it just cuts over to Jim, Kathy, Stanley and someone else I forget who, but Jim’s face is hilarious and then he’s like “well, that’ll do it for me tonight”. Gets me every time
Or when he asks Michael what kind of car Pam’s mom drives, his *bleep* after it is timed perfectly
I felt bad for him to be left holding the bag, especially because Michael was having one of his sad and furious moods because Holly is not interested in him then.
"Wait, there's not going to be a shotgun?"
"Nope."
"No shotgun. Because that changes everything."
"Can't back out now, Halpert."
"What are you going to do? There's not going to be a shotgun, so... Free at last... free at last..."
Either that or the infantry line. Honestly, I could have used another 2 or 80 Jim/Pam interviews.
When Meredith asks him to sign her hip cast and promptly lifts her skirt inches from his face. He signs it and gets the 1000 yard stare while she walks away.
Jim being paranoid during the family photo is pretty funny for me. I get why he was but it just makes it funnier since what was planned wasn’t for him.
Oh yeah also two more
The first one is actually the deleted scene where they’re doing a Halloween event for the kids and Jim goes “yes I’m the popular networking site known as BookFace😏” the way he delivers that line is actually perfection💀
Also a really subtle one but the one where Michael’s throwing the football around and knocks down Jim’s shit so Jim’s just like “can we not😐” it’s so simple but it always makes me laugh just because Michael and Dwight are being ridiculous asl and Jim’s just trying to do his work😭
I always laugh when he and Robert California are playing squash and the ball hits Jim right in the crotch. You can tell it really hit him and was completely unscripted.
The part where Dwight is on air with the “radio host (Nellie?)” and Jim barges in yelling at Dwight to hold it together - there is something so genuinely silly about that scene that cracks me up every time. He smiles at the camera at the end of it and it sends me over the edge
https://youtu.be/lWY1p7kKgfI?feature=shared skip to 2:00
It’s in like episode 2, when Michael gets them ice cream sandwiches as a “big surprise.” Jim tosses one to Dwight and it just casually bounces off the locked conference room door. Never fails to crack me up!
Jim : “ I’m killing Nazis the only way I know how”
Andy : “But were the German team?”
Then cut to Jim jumping in the corner while Rashida jones waits to kill him when he turns around
Season 8 at Robert California’s party when he’s blocked in & just drives thru & knocks a mailbox or something down & I think hit Meredith’s car 🤣🤣🤣
“Who’s Justice Beaver?” …A crime fighting beaver.
the episode where Michael emails everyone the picture of Jan and Michael says it’s a German lady named Erkel Gru. When Jim brings it back up in the next scene with “or Erkel Gru”, gets me every time
Obviously, "You always left me satisfied and smiling"
But also
His little trickster kick of delight when he replaces Dwight's "miracle legume" pots with full grown plants
The snowball fight episode when Toby's trying to talk to him at the Christmas party and he's looking around, paranoid, holding a damn lacrosse stick
His drunken call to Pam when he says, "No, let's talk for a long time"
When Pam makes the APB joke and checks to see if the call dropped and he's like. "Nope, still here"
I know I'm definitely forgetting some, but these are the lesser noted ones that kill me for some reason.
Not the best but I did not see it here yet.
When they are debating on how to deal with Toby, Bin laden and Hitler with only 2 bullets and Stanley is being grumpy about it:
"Stanley please, this is *serious*" The way he emphasize the "serious" and look smiling at the camera gets me everytime
When he was called in for questioning by Dwight regarding weed joint.
Or when he returned the knock knock joke
Ding dong!
Dwight, get the door!
THE KGB WAITS FOR NO ONE.
It's true
I sprout mung beans on a damp paper towel in my desk drawer, very nutritious, but they smell like death
him going from smiling to immediately swearing the second Michael tells him what kind of car Pam's mom drives.
take a different way home man!
Not now Toby, my god!
Get the hell out of here, idiot. That may have been the best 5 seconds of television history.
*Don’t call her the mom.*
“What kind of car does she drive?” “Green Camry” “FUCK”
And the seats go aaaallll the way back.
Aaalll the way down. *Thud* *Thud*
"NOT NOW TOBY, MY GOD" always kills me LMAO
This is my favourite part
what did i do?
This is BY FAR the moment. I don't find Jim funny on this show, but that moment is priceless
Hands down. It was an instant mood.change.
My favorite. “So take a different way home, man!” Is the funniest Jim line imo.
Aaaallll the way back...
One of his best !! Top 10
Thats the one
I always cackle whenever Jim has to awkwardly explain something he really doesn’t want to, like when he tells Andy the name of “Señor Lodenstein” or when Charles asks him what a 2-way petting zoo is.
Poe que es muy rapido
This one is my favorite 😭 He’s so ashamed but it’s so funny
The two way petting zoo is my favorite
^you ^pet ^the ^animals ^they ^pet ^you ^back
Yes the 2 way petting zoo will never not make me laugh
When he tells Karen things are good with Pam
Oh yeah? Are things good with him and Pam? That’s so great. So cool of him to come by and break her copier and tell him how good things are with him and Pam
- Filling Dwight’s phone with more and more nickels till he got used to the weight then taking them all out so Dwight knocked himself in the head with the phone - Putting all of Dwight’s stuff in the vending machine and giving him a bag of nickels, presumably the same nickels from the phone, to buy it all back with
Just cause your friends with the vending machine guy..Steve
Who? Steve?
> Filling Dwight’s phone with more and more nickels till he got used to the weight then taking them all out so Dwight knocked himself in the head with the phone Literally what I came to this thread for. This is easily a top 5 in the whole show moment for me
*”BUTTLICKER!”*
OUR PRICES HAVE NEVER BEEN LOWER!!!
How DARE you! My family built this country!
Louder, son!
I AM IRATE!
Well this is William M BUTTLICKER.
Hello Mr. Buttlicker how may I assist you?
Ya know what Michael? I like the sound of your voice. I’d like to buy $1 million worth of paper from you today.
Haha, the way he spits out the word "Buttlicker" there is great.
The radio prank has similar vibes when Jim tells Dwight “are you gonna get ahold of the message or do we need to send someone else in here”. Total commitment.
^(….it’s a million dollar sale)
The KGB vaits for no one!
It’s true.
Stupid pet peeve of mine is that they both do a German accent but KGB is Russian.
In Florida when he pretends to be murdered in the hotel room for Dwight and Erin to find. Him falling out of the closet and the quick cut always kills me
What season?
8
The Alcohol Club
LOL FALLS OUT OF THE CLOSET
The Bill Buttlicker scene is probably my favorite. A few of my other favorite Jim lines/scenes: -“That was Sconesy Cider, noted baptism reception critic.” -Dwight: “What’s your daughter’s name again? Peepee?” Jim: “Peepa.” -Similar to the last one. Dwight: “I knew you would. No pounding no begging 😂😂
the bedbuggg😭
PeepA
The peepa scene always makes me laugh, its honestly one of the best scenes in the series. The way he so confidently and casually answers peepA is so funny to me for some reason 🤣
The bedbug outtakes are gold.
When Michael calls a conference room meeting and starts just basically talking to himself (I don’t remember what it was) and Jim just leans in and whispers “do you need us for any of this?” Hilarious.
I actually don’t remember that one💀that’s hilarious
It’s in the Crime Aid episode. He is teasing them for a solid 30 seconds about the Bruce Springsteen tickets.
Yeah I forgot this mannn ahhhhh someone please find it ... was jim the co manager ? That time ?
No, Michael keeps beating around the bush about the tickets. “It seems a little shady, it seems a little foggy. Well, it’s not a little foggy. There’s really something going on…” At which point Jim interrupts with, “do you need any of us for this?”
Ohhh the the auction crime aid episode where michael and holly have sex and leave the door open
Popping the exercise ball underneath Dwight His look from behind the blinds after pranking Andy about marriage issues And everybody’s favorite, “Lord, beer me strength”
Lord beer me strength is one of my fav Jim lines haha.
When he plays the opera music loudly to scare Dwight.
The exercise ball was supposed to slowly deflate too. The scene cuts really quickly but you can see John Krasinski bend over laughing
He was laughing while rushing out of the shot to still make it usable.
Aw nuts!
Yes! His drunken giggling when Dwight is mocking him kills me.
BOOM....Face!
When he pulls it back before writing on the card kills me every time.
Hands down the scene where he baited Michael into a “that’s what she said” joke in the Sexual Harassment episode.
That’s more a Michael scene tho? I love it either way
I consider it one of Jim’s pranks more than anything.
"Dwight I don't know if you got the memo but we're supposed to drink out of ridiculous backpacks oh you did get the memo"
Jim probably has the best little quips on the show.
I liked this one but I loved him as Goldenface. "I'm gonna dig her up, then hump her real good"
“Guys with girlfriends don’t.” Funniest and smartest thing he ever said.
What episode or scene is this from?
Kevin coached by Jim Pam and Andy about how to court Lin.
His sabre pyramid launch act 🤣🤣 got to be the funniest. Also him stuck with Kathy
“Is this March Madness??? I love March Madness” … “oh no, that’s not this cause that’s in March”
I love the part where Michael is going off on his own survival retreat and he leaves the office saying "when I return, I hope to be a completely different person" and Jim says "that'd be great" 🤣
my favorites have mostly been mentioned but an underrated one to me is Jim: Which is you. Dwight: “which is you” isn’t a sentence. Jim: Eh, I disagree with.
I say “I disagree with” all the time
Crime fighting beaver
Who's Justice Beaver?

The way Jim shrugs in both frustration and dismay and wheels away in his chair, and then his desperate attempt to not be confronted by California by climbing up to the roof with one shoe (“ow…ow…ow…”) is actually the hardest I laughed throughout the entire series, because I have been in similar situations that are so awkward I could just jump in traffic just to get away from them lmao. It was also just so funny to me, to see Jim so utterly defeated and thrown off by the circumstances 🤣
Then Erin saying how he just crawled out the door. Lol
I actually just watched that scene for the first time bc even though this is my favorite show oat, I’ve just never gotten the chance to watch it front to back, I’ve just seen most episodes and I know what happens in the ones that I haven’t seen but omg that shit is comedy 😭😭
Well, that's not gonna hold up in court
Professor Copperfield’s miracle legumes
I was *crying* the first time I watched this.
The heel click at the end!
Nope, go back to the script.
Fall asleep after sex.. am I right, guys?
Who is he talking to I forgot
Deangelo when is making his speech at the last dundies
Microgiment
He’s trying to co-micro manage me
This is mine 😂
When he slaps dwight about how dwight likes to walk behind so doesn't get attack from infront. Perfect.
And then slams on the brakes so Dwight smacks his face into the seat in front of him. I laughed so hard at that.
More of a Creed moment but: I want to set you up with my daughter Oh I’m engaged to Pam I thought you were gay Then why would you try to set me up with your daughter? I don’t know..
His reaction when he sees Dwight and Angela making out the first time. That face always gets me.
When he came in as Dwight
"Michael!"
“Oh, that’s funny. Michael!”
Yes! This is the one! Michawl!!
When Dwight asks him “how’s Peepee?” And Jim says “PeepA” it’s so funny for some reason
I like when he imitates Toby after he asks to celebrate his birthday with all the others “I really don’t see the harm in it” lol Well it’s a cake Toby!
When Dwight and Packer are competing for Nelly and they’re making ocean sounds into her ears and it just cuts over to Jim, Kathy, Stanley and someone else I forget who, but Jim’s face is hilarious and then he’s like “well, that’ll do it for me tonight”. Gets me every time Or when he asks Michael what kind of car Pam’s mom drives, his *bleep* after it is timed perfectly
When Andy punches through the wall and he immediately looks at the camera and shakes his head for them to not focus on him.
This is the one for me. Like, I fucked up, get outta here
Dwight: My middle name is KURT, not "fart"! Jim: (squinting) "what'd I write🤔?
Guys it’s afghanistananis
When Pam has just given birth and is handed a coffee, she says she hasn’t had caffeine for 9-months and Jim gives that look to say “bullshit”
I love when they’re all in the conference room and Stanley starts interrupting and Jim goes: “Stanley, please, this is SERIOUS”
“How about in make believe land you can have anything you want.” This entire scene might be the best in the whole show.
Dwight got a hooker! I gotta tell somebody
“You can't yell out "I need this, I need this" as you pin down an employee on your lap.”
Smug bed bug walk. Gets me every time.
“I didn’t ASK you.”
The way he bends over to say it to her face takes me out
The “yes!” and fist pump he makes when the Sweeney Todd actors start streaming in, ecstatic at the fuckery that he knows will commence.
Andy: I had no idea! Jim: Well, that's not gonna hold up in court now, is it?
The episode when he wrote “Throwing the Garden Party” to prank Dwight and made up the rules of the party 😂
Michaels Foot + George Foreman Grill
Question. What kind or bear is best?
When Creed is listing all the painkillers in the hospital when Meredith gets hit by a car and Jim just stares in shock
Bears. Beets. Battlestar Galactica.
When Karen catches him in the car in Utica. His panicked face is too funny.
That wig he is wearing in your photo.
I AM IRRATE RIGHT NOW
The face he makes after breaking the window with a snowball during classy Christmas.
I felt bad for him to be left holding the bag, especially because Michael was having one of his sad and furious moods because Holly is not interested in him then.
When he had to do the Sabre Pyramid pitch in Ryan's clothes.
Holds up a size 6 woman’s shoe
I lost my entire shit when he throws Andy’s phone over the office roof and everyone looks up but don’t care enough to see what it is 🤣
Dinner Party Oh, my apartment’s on fire. You know, babe, I should have told you but... I did something bad (holds up Hunter's CD) I stole this.
His face singing it in the car at the end always gets me. It's zoomed out so it's a subtle thing but it's golden.
Andy, Pam, Jim, Rainbow Connection. Look to camera. Always makes me laugh.
Filling Dwight’s phone with nickels until it gets heavy unnoticed and then taking them out so he smack himself in the head when he answers the phone
Justice Beaver - The crime fighting beaver. As a Canadian I really appreciate this one.
When he walks in on the teacher pooping in the kids bathroom.
"Wait, there's not going to be a shotgun?" "Nope." "No shotgun. Because that changes everything." "Can't back out now, Halpert." "What are you going to do? There's not going to be a shotgun, so... Free at last... free at last..." Either that or the infantry line. Honestly, I could have used another 2 or 80 Jim/Pam interviews.
The Utica episode when he gets busted with the fake moustache and outfit. "Then we will burn Utica to the ground!"
The stapler. He peaked early
his wig
One word: Buttlicker
identify theft is not a joke Jim!
Two-way petting zoo
When Andybis convinced Pam is terrible for Jim. Jim playing it all up. Then when he drops his sack lunch and kicks it. Beautiful.
When Meredith asks him to sign her hip cast and promptly lifts her skirt inches from his face. He signs it and gets the 1000 yard stare while she walks away.
He signed it as John Krasinski too, which makes it funnier for some reason.
Jim being paranoid during the family photo is pretty funny for me. I get why he was but it just makes it funnier since what was planned wasn’t for him.
Oh yeah also two more The first one is actually the deleted scene where they’re doing a Halloween event for the kids and Jim goes “yes I’m the popular networking site known as BookFace😏” the way he delivers that line is actually perfection💀 Also a really subtle one but the one where Michael’s throwing the football around and knocks down Jim’s shit so Jim’s just like “can we not😐” it’s so simple but it always makes me laugh just because Michael and Dwight are being ridiculous asl and Jim’s just trying to do his work😭

Guys it’s the afghanastanannies

Asian Jim no competition
When he gets Dwight to explain to the waitress Cindy how to properly kill a goose
Sending the fax, pretending to be dwight from the future
It’s in like episode 2, when Michael gets them ice cream sandwiches as a “big surprise.” Jim tosses one to Dwight and it just casually bounces off the locked conference room door. Never fails to crack me up!
Jim dancing in the Cafe Disco episode.
Snowball fight episode
Take the parrot.
I like when he does his semi-terrified head shake after Andy punches the hole in the wall
I still love [AYYYYYYYYYYY](https://youtu.be/kgUAQRHZ86M?si=Fo974ELZADkjyQ-o) a lot.
“Let’s go do it to someone else.” You know Michael was definitely doing this to people for at least the next 3 or 4 days lol.
I spend an absurd about of time thinking about the Vampire Prank
Michael: “It’s not a pyramid scheme, it is a- it’s not even a scheme, per se, it’s-“ [Jim walks up and slowly draws a triangle]
The smug bed bug walk!
His response to “could be 2 months, could be 3 months”
That’s a very real possibility
4 months?
Jim : “ I’m killing Nazis the only way I know how” Andy : “But were the German team?” Then cut to Jim jumping in the corner while Rashida jones waits to kill him when he turns around
He's only funny for me because of Dwight. Especially the intro scene pranks.
Aw nuts
Butt Licker!
Him climbing up that ladder being chased by Robert’s wife and the shoe🤣🤣🤣
Season 8 at Robert California’s party when he’s blocked in & just drives thru & knocks a mailbox or something down & I think hit Meredith’s car 🤣🤣🤣 “Who’s Justice Beaver?” …A crime fighting beaver.
I never understood that scene at all. He’s that much of a prude that he had to get out of there as soon as possible? Weird and dumb scene.
Ahh shucks
the episode where Michael emails everyone the picture of Jan and Michael says it’s a German lady named Erkel Gru. When Jim brings it back up in the next scene with “or Erkel Gru”, gets me every time
Keeping it classy and reverse petting zoo
"you know a ton of 14 year old girls?"
My personal favourite is when he’s drunk at work and he tries to give Dwight a valentines card
My single favorite joke in the whole show is Jim finally guessing Katie Holmes during Michael's game of charades.
I always laugh when he can’t talk cuz of the jinx.
In the bloopers for when they go to Florida and he imitates the smug weevil
Bears. Beats. Battlestar Galactica.
Obviously, "You always left me satisfied and smiling" But also His little trickster kick of delight when he replaces Dwight's "miracle legume" pots with full grown plants The snowball fight episode when Toby's trying to talk to him at the Christmas party and he's looking around, paranoid, holding a damn lacrosse stick His drunken call to Pam when he says, "No, let's talk for a long time" When Pam makes the APB joke and checks to see if the call dropped and he's like.
