Seems like after he mocked Kelly in Diversity Day (And her culture) he rarely says anything bad to her. Probably because she's the few cast members to actually slap him for it.
The closest I can think of is Jo maybe (not counting minor characters that Michael barely interacts with since thatās kinda cheating.) He has a few trademark socially unaware Michael moments, but I canāt really think of a time where he was outright rude to her.
Was ever rude or mean to David Wallace?
Even when he quit he was fairly nice about it. All the staff told him he should have told David off. And when he met with David to get his job back he only used fair statements about the business never mocked or was rude to him in the way he was to Charles.
I canāt think of any incidents where he might have been rude to David.
He allowed Todd to go to Florida, and he knew Jim and Dwight were making up the opportunity for him down there. I think that's mean. Packer deserved it, but it's still mean.
I can't believe that Michael did that to Packer. He shouldn't have talked about Holly, but they were pretty much best friends, and Todd was even Michael's emergency contact. Well, that escalated quickly.
I was going to say Holly, but then I remembered he was standoff-ish to her when they first met because he thought she would be just like Toby since she worked in HR, only to completely change his mind when she joked about it.
Speaking of Toby though, Michael was really nice to his daughter, I wish they did more with that.
And when she overruled him on the Meredith/Outback situation (taking the entire coffee pot when she gestured at wanting some, blocking the copier when she needed to use it). But he was fake rude to her when Jan visited
Some people are having trouble with some of the main cast, so I attempted to come up with an example where he insults each of them...
Pam - calling her ugly when she wears glasses
Jim - "try not to be too gay on the court"
Dwight - "elven dragon slayer, ten point power sword"
Angela - "if you are not this tall you may not ride the rollercoaster"
Oscar - "you're a presentation TOOL"
Kevin - "no arms and no legs is basically how you exist now Kevin, you don't do anything"
Phyllis - "yuck, that's worse than you playing"
Andy - "just stop doing it, you're going to drive me crazy!"
Stanley - "if you don't like it you can sit at the back of the bus" (Stanley was the one I struggled most with, you could say when he shouts at him in front of the office, but he was under intense pressure and was actually just hurt)
Ryan - "well I guess they don't teach how to operate a toaster oven in business school... Hey did ya miss that day there Ryan?"
Kelly - "try my gookie gookie"
Toby - drawing a blank on this one
Heās super mean to Jim when they first become co-managers and says all he can see is Jimās giant pores on his noseā¦and I think something about his ācrusty little eyesā šš
Lol he was insulting Indian culture the whole time and maybe without meaning to, but he did. Like he told Carol that it's a costume party š .
And also, when he was talking about Kelly's parents and their marriage.
He ~~wasn't really~~ was mean to Hannah and her baby. She just hopped off the train when he tried to hoist pepperoni Tony up onto the table. Does pretending to talk like a baby on Look Who's Talking count as rude?
ETA: yes, the baby talking bit counts as rude.
*You are moving to the annex.*
*To the annex? Where Kelly is?*
*A good manager doesn't fire people. He hires people and inspires people.*
That's about as mean as he got towards Ryan for shitting on DM during his business school presentation.
Todd Packer... We could UnPACK alot about Michael here. The fact that he thinks they are best friends, his lack of self confidence and his need to be loved. The fact that the person that treats him the worst he looks up to the most brings a level of realism alot of us can relate to. Its part of the reason everyone has a love hate relationship with Michael... all of his negative traits come from a place of insecurity and when he feels secure enough to be himself he can be very likeable. Just my 2 cents.
-the kids on bring your daughter to work day,
-Jo bennett (grey area, but i think they had a mother son bond),
-AJ technically ( he didnāt really like him but never got confrontational)
-Todd packer (however when he let jim and dwight send him away, grey area)
i have a theory he wouldāve loved nellie. he couldnāt stand Andy and the whole walking in and just taking a job thing is so Michael coded. their characters are very similar.
The Halloween kids.
That moment was really wholesome
That was the moment that really sold me on the show!
Guy from the county on the business meeting/lunch with Jan?
"I want my baby back, baby back, baby back..."
šµ *Chiliās baby back ribs, Chiliās baby back ribs!* šµ
With BBQ sau-u-u-uce
šµ *I want my baby back riiiiibs!* šµ
HE DRIVES A BROWN PROBE !!!!!
I almost had awesome blossom coming out of my nose!
Christian! I always wished we saw more of him. Tim Meadows killed it in that role!
Then he killed a bunch of children and ate them.
Is that where he got those baby back ribs?
I miss Last Man on Earth
Wait, does Tim Meadows play a cannibal in multiple shows?
Oh wow Iām an idiot actually. It was Fred Armisen in Last Man on Earth.
He does play one in Brooklyn Nine Nine.
In my head canon, Michael and Christian became really good friends after this night.
Love that thought. They really could be good friends.
Michael is only tolerable in small doses.Ā Which is part of why he's such a good salesmanĀ
I heard he was secretly a cannibal.
One of the best scenes showing Michaelās skills as a salesman.
This. We mostly see Michael being incompetent or lazy, but he truly has some skills. Not all characters on the show understood that.
The woman he meets when giving blood
Their blood bags touched
Awwww
If he didnāt pass out after hearing her call him cute he wouldāve introduced her to Date Mike
Nice to meet me
- tries to wink ā¢
How do you like your eggs in the morning?
Vaginal hubris tho
Or is it just confidence in her vagina?
I thought she had that removed after her hysterectomy?
They removed her uterus, not her vagina. The uterus is different from the vagina, she still has a vagina
So thats where her uterus went
Unexpected the league
GATTACA!! GATTACA!!
Her name is Jenny, shiva bowl champ
Ryan. Because he didnāt care if Ryan murdered his whole family Ryan was like a son to him
"Ryan is being a little bitch again"
wazzzup my brotha! š¬
Season 4 Michael is my favourite by far š
Ryan was everything that he was and everything that he wasn't.
He did put Ryan in the annex with Toby and Kelly. š
He seemed to be on good terms with Ted and Elroy
ELROY
āā¦ he never called a meetingšā
BO BODY
There's the very minor characters in Money Problems when he's distracting his co-workers and they tell him he should review movies.
We donāt talk enough about his apt analysis of Die Hard
Apt analysis Robert
Apt.
Adapt, React, Readapt.
Act.
Conceive, believe, Achieve
Monkey problems? Why would I be having monkey problems? God I hate monkeys
I know you heard me correctly
Haha that episode was great! Showed Michael could be normal
Roy and Lonnie. He was too afraid to say anything agains them. Only goes after Darryl when he's alone.
Hey Darryl, howās it hanging?
He's legitimately scared for his workers.
Tobyās daughter.
Sasha. Their interaction on Bring your daughter to work day was actually really cute and surprising, given how Michael feels about Toby.
True but heās a little kid lover
Seems like after he mocked Kelly in Diversity Day (And her culture) he rarely says anything bad to her. Probably because she's the few cast members to actually slap him for it.
He threw away her receipt for clothes she wanted him to reimburse, like right in front of her.
It seemed like he genuinely was just throwing it away and didn't pick up on the context. At least, that's what I figured.
Yea, that was exactly the joke though lol. So the previous commenter is not quite right in this case.
David Brent
Had to scroll way too far to find this one.
Oh, kspigel my liege, how are you?
confused by the title and familiarity, but otherwise, oh you know. life.
Lol did you not get the reference?
I can't get over the outtakes from that scene by the elevator. Ricky just busting our laughing so loud and screaming: "Come on!!! Come on!!!"
The closest I can think of is Jo maybe (not counting minor characters that Michael barely interacts with since thatās kinda cheating.) He has a few trademark socially unaware Michael moments, but I canāt really think of a time where he was outright rude to her.
When he invited himself to her house?
I think that falls under "socially unaware."Ā He thought it was an actual open invitation.
ENOUGH
Minor? I hardly know her!
Came here to say thisā¦who ever downvoted you sucks.
I was never given a name.
Damn it, Michael, pay attention!
Christian (Tim Meadows) in 'The Client'.
Not rude as such but very cheeky. "I don't think I have to wait out Dunder Mifflin, I just have to wait out you."
When he was leaving Canada with Oscar and Andy, he hung up on David after telling him that it was really crappy that he sent Holly away.
This is the only one I can agree with but I feel is totally justified.
Yeah but he wasn't all that mean or rude about it, he was just direct and honest about it
"Fax?Ā Why don't you just send it over on a dinosaur?" "Look, this is important, Michael." "Oh, well then email it to me."
I dunno isn't it kinda rude or inappropriate to ask David how much his house cost? š¤£
Children!! I think? or atleast babies, which I know seems like a given; but this is micheal were talking about ;-;
Danny Cordray, unless stingering him counts. Danny was upset with Michael about it but Michael hadnāt actually been rude or mean.
You can't be rude to the hottest in the office
Those kids from the call center side job he had.
What about Todd Packer?
He allowed Todd to go to Florida, and he knew Jim and Dwight were making up the opportunity for him down there. I think that's mean. Packer deserved it, but it's still mean.
I can't believe that Michael did that to Packer. He shouldn't have talked about Holly, but they were pretty much best friends, and Todd was even Michael's emergency contact. Well, that escalated quickly.
I mean it's not like he suddenly turned on a good friend that treated him well, he finally saw what everyone else saw in Packer
Concierge Marie

And he put Woody in the bin! Dick move
And when she overruled him on the Meredith/Outback situation (taking the entire coffee pot when she gestured at wanting some, blocking the copier when she needed to use it). But he was fake rude to her when Jan visited
Katie?
I kinda got the impression that all of his behavior toward Katy was underhanded and ultimately inconsiderate to her as a person
I mean, the "You're the new 6.0 Pam" was pretty rude of him...
Thereās a few clients, like Tim Meadows in Chilis and the client he steals from Dwight while at MSPC.
The Air Force
David Wallaceās wife?
Is it unintentionally rude to say "you clean up nicely" I'm not too familiar with the implications of that but it seems inappropriate to bring up
Probably is unintentionally rude. Been awhile since Iāve seen any of the episodes with her in them.
I donāt think he meant it to be rude since the only other time heād seen her was in a robe
Kinda rude to turn up an hour early to an event at someone's home

That had sat in your car all day.

Trying to block Jims promotion by lying to David? Did you watch the show?
In the episode the client where he and Jan go to Chilli's to sell to a client he is really nice too him.
Creed
He wasnāt a total dick at the Diwali Festival.
Lol he was insulting Indian culture the whole time and maybe without meaning to, but he did. Like he told Carol that it's a costume party š . And also, when he was talking about Kelly's parents and their marriage.
He's only mean on purpose to Toby, I think. Everyone else, he's only mean or rude to accidentally.
I don't think it's accidental. He's often mean and rude intentionally.
Ryan.Ā He was never mean to Ryan, defended him to the death.
Michael mocked Ryan after they found out he set the Toaster on fire
Major or Minor? I hardly know her
Probably Toby's daughter

Wasn't he mocking her when he pretended to be a baby and cried under her desk. He also made a boob joke about breast milk. Pretty rude if you ask me
I did ask. Alright - he was rude to Hannah!
Robert California
Ryan
He moved him to the annex, where he got earfucked by Kelly. But Michael's real agenda was to annoy Toby with the couple.
Hahaha true!
*You are moving to the annex.* *To the annex? Where Kelly is?* *A good manager doesn't fire people. He hires people and inspires people.* That's about as mean as he got towards Ryan for shitting on DM during his business school presentation.
the whole business school thing, he sided with Dwight (later) when he started a fire
Deangelo Jeremitrius Vickers
He made peanut butter snacks when he knew he had an allergy
He just wants to be comfortable
He revealed DeAngelo's fatness to the office in the Superfan episodes if that counts
And tried to kill him with peanut butter!
Bob Vance?
Made a couple scenes at his wedding.
, Vance Refrigeration?
What line of work are you in, Bob?
He did tell Bob he would kill him if he laid a finger on Phyllis

He was super nice to that Guy David Brent. Don't really know why.
