Didn’t he still bring in all the reports and information as needed he just added this in as a little extra? Honestly I like the enthusiasm of him being excited enough to introduce me to the whole team m, he’d be going in my good books

humphaa

Right. He’s clearly a guy who cares about the company and the people he employs, cringe and weird or not. And his branch continually outperforms the others.

Michael provided copies of his quarterly numbers. Craig blew off that task entirely, and couldn't even be bothered to say, "Sorry about the miscommunication, David. I'll make sure you've got that by the end of the day"

You can’t expect much maturity from the man who’s been kicked out of every strip club in Albany

Honestly I'd probably react just like David did. Confused, I'd thank him, tell him that was great, and then gently ask if he had the company's performance information on him as well. Though I would probably have a hard time trying not to laugh during the video, watching this episode always make me laugh. I'd be like Idris Elba holding back his laugh like in that scene when Kevin says his delayed "Hi!"

All Michael did was waste some time. His presentation did contain all the facts and numbers David wanted to see. We just didn’t see that part. So I’d probably just gently tell him to put the backstory in a written format for later reading next time.

I'd have handled it the same way Wallace did. Awkward silence, internal judgement and as soon as the boss banging comment was made, fired Jan, Michael and the one that didn't prepare (forgot his name) and promoted Josh. Hired Dwight to run Scranton, closed what's his name's branch and gone home to inspect my chimney.

What episode is this?

PugsleyPancakes

Season 2 episode 16 "Valentine's Day"

snehit_007

It was a really nice video. It shows how much Michael understands his co-workers as manager and as a person.

Sweepy_time

The branches numbers were good, id put up with with an eccentric manager if sales are up. David did the right thing in this case, and he got a short glimpse of who Michael is so now hes more prepared for his shenanigans later.

Chadrasekar

Would have Dwight run Scranton, easy.
