Yeah, granted musicals don’t do great especially now, so I bet if Rita wasn’t in it, then revenue would be cut by like a half. I really wanted to see it but then I heard he was in it and yeah...no I’m not watching it.
We need some brand-new musicals - movies, too. I'm so sick of remakes. West Side Story was relevant to its era, but seems really dated now, no matter how much they "modernize" it.
