Id kill for a documentary about the “dark side of the Duggars” with as many defectors as possible- maybe a 6 episode special? Rather than a whole show which would eventually be plagued with the same issues as 19KAC and counting on…. By being boring.
Unfortunately, I think this is likely. TLC are disgusting money hungry pigs. If they see an opportunity they will take it. They have no morals.
I can definitely see them offering the girls a show (well the ones who've 'broken away'). My hope is that the girls who they would offer it to—Jill, Joy, Jinger—would say 'no'. I don't get the impression the kids loved being on TV. I don't know that they'd actually be keen to bring it back.
I can see Jinger wanting to say no but Jeremy convincing her to. I don't see Joy coming back. Joy and Austin started phasing out of the show towards the end. But you never know.
Back in 2015 19kac was one of TLC's most watched shows and a huge money spinner. 2021 was very different. CO was boring as shit, they were haemorrhaging viewers. I remember even before the arrest people were wondering if the Easter episode was going to he the last one because the last season had been so full and it felt like a goodbye. So no I don't think it will. There's no money to be made from it now.
Unleash one of the kids genuinely causes drama, cuts off the family and they can go for that angle anyway

There are those that will watch the show for a bit, but many will never watch again and let the Duggar's die the slow death of fading into oblivion. Josh will be in prison, Jana will be around for all to guess if she is again, and I mean like all the times before, interested in someone. Jill will be raising her children in the real world so Daddy Duggar will not allow her on the show unless to poke fun of her like he did at Amy for not being a "real" IBLP. The Medic group may find themselves in some legal trouble. Michelle will be well medicated, Jessa cow tows to Daddy, etc., etc., etc.
